Abstract

This research discusses about on lontara recognition application design with game based learning method on Android. Aiming to introduce the characters lontara to the public through the android based smartphone which can be a medium for people to acquire knowledge or information about the script lontara. This application is designed by using the method of learning by doing where users can practice how to write a script characters lontara on this application. With the research is expected to help the user to learn and recognize letters lontara. The test results lontara alphabet recognition applications using questionnaires on general society and interview people who are experts in the field of regional literature. The final results of the research in the form of recognition applications, the material features, glossary, quizzes, words of wisdom, and a writing exercise is expected to increase public interest to introduce the culture of the region, especially lontara literacy through android based smartphone.

Abstract

This research aimed at improving the reliability of the system by developing a machine learning framework as relevance feedback mechanism that aims to harness human perception in the training system to learn to map between the vector feature extraction results to the specifications given query. In the developed relevance feedback mechanism, users are involved in providing feedback to the system via the query by example (QBE) interface model. Basically, this module works with the user to decide how to involve the relevant results or irrelevant that emerged as a result of the system output user-defined queries. Then the machine-learning mechanisms will reformulate return query results based on user ratings and displays the new results. This process can take place iteratively until the user is satisfied on the relevance of the results obtained. Outcomes of this study will produce an image search system that can be integrated with information systems of third party services through the modules developed.

Abstract

In this research, the image retrieval system is developed to search for images in the collection of images found on the database based on input (query) in the form of sample images provided by the user. The image is represented as a set of region segmentation results. Users of the system decides the object to be searched on the image and label an example of the region to train the system through a graphical interface. For the image retrieval process that contains a specific object, the user opens the image and choose the region containing the object on the system, then the system will rank all the regions in the collection are indexed query class to the collection in the database in the Euclidean distance (L2) of the region in user query and displays the results of the corresponding images from the collection on the database, which is the image that has the highest similarity.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop the image search system using content-based retrieval approach by applying algorithm to extract low-level feature from images. Low-level information that is used to extract image features in the image retrieval system is color information contained in the image. Composition of color pixels in an image can be represented in a color histogram. The degree of similarity between the image colors is determined based on the distance between the histogram using Laplace distance and Euclidean distance. The smaller the distance between the histogram, the higher the percentage of similarity of an image. Results of image retrieval through the database will be displayed according to the query by example method performed by a user, based on the sequence of images that have a higher percentage of similarity. The test results for images with a maximum size of 150 x 150 pixels get fairly accurate results with percentages of similarity is above 60 percent.

Abstract

Today, Collection of image data on the Internet is growing rapidly in terms of quantity. In parallel with this a method of content -based image retrieval (Content -based image retrieval) is needed in the process of identifying and accessing visual information. Content -based image retrieval basically simulates the human perception of an image so that an error occurred in the text -based retrieval methods can be overcome. In this research, the image retrieval system is implemented with the extraction of low level features of the image. Abstract

The use of cryptographic techniques and digital signatures is widely applied as a method to secure confidentiality and authenticity of data such as sending data over the internet network. on cryptographic, data that intent to be secret is disguised by changing the original data to unreadable format while the digital signature is used to check the authenticity of the message according to the source. Both of these techniques have weaknesses, but by combining these two techniques it will make confidential data more secure in secrecy and authenticity. The main discussion of this research is to create a data security application by combining cryptographic techniques and the use of digital signatures. The algorithm used is a Multi- encryption algorithm consisting of a combination of substitution and transposition algorithms and el gamal algorithm for document verification using digital signatures. The process that is done is to encrypt the message either typed directly into the application or from the text file that is loaded into the application. The results of this study are applications designed to meet information security needs, both protection against the confidentiality of information and protection against counterfeiting and changing unwanted information.Keywords: Cryphtograph, Multi-encryption, Digital Signature

Abstract

Parking system has been implemented in Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar (UAJM) still not well organized and controlled. In addition to which there were no control data to the vehicle of student, faculty and staff that can be used as an evaluation of parking guard on duty also can not set the vehicle in and out of UAJM the vehicle that incoming outgoing UAJM can not be identified anymore, increasing the likelihood of crime in UAJM. By building computerized parking system application, can help vehicle parking arrangement as well as provide information on the availabil of parking.In this essay, the author uses the Java programming language and database design using software design and UML (Unified Modeling Language).The existence of this research, it can solve the parking problem UAJM in addtion, the result of this study can be uses as a reference in other similiar studies.

Abstract

This research focuses on the utilization of Location Based Service services to find the location of the nearest workshop in Makassar. Workshop is a place to fix two-wheeled vehicles and four wheeled and more. When damage occurs at the time of use, the vehicle owner is generally confused to find the nearest workshop. In addition, the nearest workshop may not necessarily have a good reputation so that vehicle owners prefer to enter the vehicle in the official workshop. The purpose of this research is to design an information service for customers to find the nearest service based on Location Based Service, so that later both general workshop and authorized workshops can compete to provide good service for customers. Location base service is a Service using Google's global positioning service (GPS) and cell-based location technology. In addition, the LBS consists of several components, namely mobile devices, communication networks, position components, and service and content providers. The research method uses a waterfall method consisting of the stage of analysis, design, design and implementation. The results of this study is an application that can receive requests for repair or service periodically by the owner of the vehicle to the workshop. When the repair shop receives requests for repair or maintenance, the workshop will pick up the vehicle.
