Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of integration of environment-based education in science subjects to environmental awareness of students in Muhammadiyah Integrated Islamic Elementary School Bandongan Magelang. This research uses pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study is all students of Muhammadiyah Integrated Islamic Elementary School Bandongan Magelang with the number of 360 students. The samples were taken using simple random sampling technique, that is third and fifth grader students. Twenty students of Class IIIA and nineteen students of Class VB are taken as control group. Twenty students of Class IIIC and eighteen students of Class VA are taken as experimental group. Environmental awareness data was taken using a questionnaire. Hypothesis analysis in this study was conducted using non-parametric test, Mann-Whiteney by SPSS software. Based on the hypothesis test using Mann-Whiteney, it is known that the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) in grade III is 0.004 <0.05 while in grade V is 0.015 <0.05. Can be interpreted that there is a significant influence of integration of environment-based education through science subjects to environmental awareness of students in Muhammadiyah Integrated Islamic Elementary School Bandongan Magelang.

Abstract

Rendahnya minat baca dan kurangnya pemahaman tentang budaya literasi di SD Negeri Menoreh menjadi perhatian khusus bagi TIM Kami, karena budaya membaca adalahmodalpeting dalam menunjang mutu pendidikan terutama sekolah dasar. Rendahnya budaya membaca ini didukung oleh beberapa faktor yaitu, pengelolaan perpustakaan yang kurang tertata dan gedung perpustakaan yang menjadi satu dengan taman kanak-kanak, hal tersebut membuat semakin menurunnya minat membaca anak. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan budaya literasi warga sekolah dan memperperbaiki sistem perpustakaan sehingga menjadi tempat yang tertata nyaman dan beroperasi sesuai dengan fungsinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah ANGSA BIMO (angkringan sadar hobi maca) yaitu inovasi perpustakaan berbentuk angkringan yang dibuat sedemikian rupa sehingga menarik perhatian warga sekolah untuk mengunjungi dan membaca (berbagai buku yang disediakan), konsep ANGSA BIMA di kombinasikan dengan metode CONTEST ORTU NGACA yang dalam penyajianya diimplementasikan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan mengembangkan kreativitas yang dimiliki masing – masing anak melalui Contest origami, tulis, ngaji, dan maca. Hasil yang didapatkan dari menerapkan metode ANGSA BIMO dikombinasikan dengan CONTEST ORTU NGACA yaitu mulai di kenalnya budaya literasi dan munculnya minat baca bagi warga sekolah munculnya semangat untuk membaca warga sekolah.

Abstract

In particular, this study aimed at investiating to what extent the conditions and dominat cators, affecting in the headmaster’ instructional leadership competencies, for each potential disaster state elementary school in district of Magelang, the researchers used mixed methods studies that involve integrating quantitative (the preliminary data) and qualitaive (the further date)descriptive date analysis.  The respondents of this study were the headmasters’ with their role as instructional leader of their state elementary schools. Based om the finding of qualitative descriptive analysis, the condition of the headmasters’ instructional leadeship competencies at potencial disaster state elemetary school of Krinjing 2 Magelang, was in good category. A totalscore headmasters’ instructional leaderships competencies obtained inm this study is 922. The total score was then compareted to the maximum score to know how many percent the headmasters’competencies analyzed. The result showed the total competency is 82,59%. The dominant factors affecting in the headmasters’ instructional leadership competencies are: 1) the headmaster  as an instructional leader should has clear and understandable the organizational vision, 2) there is an effort getting near to the students, 3)involving teacher in decision making and so forth, 4)creating a steady/fixed curiculum, and it should be dynamic, 5)making a strong and profitable school cooperation network

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study departs from the problem of the still low quality of the process of learning Javanese language, one of which is the wayang pandhawa and the ability of the teacher to integrate character values in classroom learning. The main objective of this year I study was to produce innovative learning models based on Multiple Character Intelligence (PROMISTER) projects that had obtained material and learning expert validation.Research uses research and development methods or "Research and Development" (R & D) with the following steps: a) conducting preliminary research, b) planning, c) developing prototype learning models include: needs analysis of Javanese language learning models and prototypes PROMISTER learning model, d) expert test The research subjects were taken as many as 4 schools in Magelang Regency. Respondents from each school involved fourth grade teachers, fourth grade students, and elementary school principals. The subject of this study also involved 2 material experts, and 2 experts in the learning model. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau “Research and Development” (R & D) dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: a) melakukan penelitian pendahuluan, b) perencanaan, c) pengembangan prototipe model pembelajaran) uji ahli Subjek penelitian diambil sebanyak 4 sekolah  di Kabupaten Magelang. Responden dari setiap sekolah melibatkan guru kelas IV, murid kelas IV, dan kepala sekolah SD. Subjek penelitian ini juga melibatkan 2 orang ahli materi, dan 2 orang ahli model pembelajaran. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Kata kunci: Promister, hasil Belajar Wayang Pandhawa

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the characteristics, (2) the validity of (3) practicality, (4) the effectiveness iqra SEMAR media. This research is a Research and Development, the research design developed by Borg and Gall ie step preliminary study, development, and testing results. Assessed the validity of the instrument and its learning mediasupporting the learning medias such as: lesson plans, Teaching Material, LKS, THB, and Iqra Books Java. Practicality assessed from teacher observation sheet to manage learning, student responses and teacher responses. Assessed the effectiveness of the activities of students, THB and reading skills. Analysis using descriptive, descriptive percentages and THB using n-gain techniques were then tested one sample test and the test sample pair. Iqra SEMAR media on reading skills in elementary students letters Java class IV characteristics  from the syntagmatic, social systems, reaction principle, the principle and the impact of instructional support or accompaniment. Research results that cooperative learning mediato learning reading skills Herroiq Java letter declared  valid. expert validation score of 89.9 for the learning media (very valid); learning device at 66 (very valid); RPP of 221 (very valid); teaching materials for 143.6 (valid); LKS equal to 151 (very valid); THB at 169.8 (very valid); book iqra at 156.6 (very valid). Iqra SEMAR media to learning the skills to read  Java skill. Score observations ability of teachers to manage learning has a score of 3.43 (very good); responses of  the students had an average score of 3.23 (very good); responses teacher of the learning activities obtained an average score was 3.41 or teacher response to the criteria (excellent). Results of analysis of student activity 81.25; median student learning outcomes by 87, with a value of t is greater than t table (9.493> 2.04523), reflecting the significant differences of learning to iqra SEMAR media.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan (1) karakteristik, (2) kevalidan dan (3) keefektifan media pembelajaran BIMA PANDAWA. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV SDN Sriwedari 1 & 2. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and development. Desain penelitian yang digunakan merupakan modifikasi dari langkah Borg and Gall. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan media pembelajaran BIMA PANDAWA valid, layak, dan efektif digunakan. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil kevalidan yang dinilai oleh validasi ahli untuk media pembelajaran dari aspek materi 90% (sangat valid), validasi untuk media dari aspek desain mendapat skor 87,2 % (sangat valid) dan validasi perangkat pendukung pembelajaran mendapatkan skor rata ? rata 90% (sangat valid). Hasil analisis uji Anova posttest pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol memiliki sig. 0,002 < 0,05 sehingga terdapat perbedaan yang siginfikan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan  dapat menjadi referensi atau masukan bagi perkembangan ilmu pendidikan, dan menambah kajian ilmu pengetahuan khususnya dalam pembelajaran Wayang Pandhawa.

Abstract

The low reading culture at SDN Menoreh Salaman is supported by several factors, among others, the management of poorly organized libraries, which causes the decreasing interest in reading children. The purpose of this activity is to improve the literacy culture of school residents and improve the library system so that it becomes a place that is comfortable and operates in accordance with its function. The method used is ANGSA BIMO (angkringan sadar hobi maca) which is the innovation of angkringan-shaped library that is made to attract the attention of the school to visit and read (various books provided), the concept of ANGSA BIMO in combination with CONTEST ORTU NGACA method which in its presentation is implemented in learning process by developing the creativity of each child through Contest origami, write, ngaji, and maca. The results obtained from applying ANGSA BIMO method combined with CONTEST ORTU NGACA is the recognition of culture of literacy and the emergence of reading interest for the citizens of the school, the emergence of the spirit to read the citizens of the school.
