Abstract

Prophets Birthday is celebrated widely throughout the world, including in Indonesia, many cultural traditions influence of this warning. There are two opinions that suggest the early emergence of Mawlid tradition, first held by the Deputy Muiz li Dinillah, and during the Sultan Salahuddin al-Ayubi. Prophets Birthday celebrations are a tradition in the Islamic community some time after the Prophet Muhammad died. The warning for Muslims is a tribute and a reminder of the greatness and the example of Prophet Muhammad with various forms of cultural activities, rituals and religion.

Abstract

This research aims to know the teaching of the speaking skill using the audio-oral method for the students of Islmic Senior High School of Zainul Hasan Genggong Probolinggo and to know its problems. This qualitative research used observation, interview, and documentation to collect data. To analyze the data, this research based on three basic things, data reduction, data presentation, and extrapolation. And, to measure the validity of the data, this research used triangulation. The results of this research are the teaching of the speaking skill using the audio-oral method for the students of Islmic Senior High School of Zainul Hasan Genggong Probolinggo by giving the dialogues, then translates them and represents the pronunciation in the Arabic dialect, which the students hear and then imitate afterwards sometimes the tape recorder used for improving the arabic speaking skill correctly while teaching continued with more exercises in various Arabic dialogues. The problems of the teaching of the speaking skill using the audio-oral method for the students of Islmic Senior High School of Zainul Hasan Genggong Probolinggo consist of three basic problems which are related to the language environment, the local language, the monotonic teaching method and learning media.

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى تطوير المواد التعليمية لمهارة الاستماع لدارس اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بهافي المدرسة المتوسطة الاسلامية في بروبولنجو-جاوى الشرقية. والأسئلة التي يريد الباحث إجابتها وهي الأولى، كيف تطوير المواد التعليمية لمهارة الاستماع لدارس اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها. والثانية، كيف التجربة الميدانية لهذه المواد التعليمية. والثالثة، ما مدى فعالية المواد التعليمية. مدخل البحث هوشبه الكمي ونوع البحث هو بحث تطويري. يجرى هذا البحث التطويري على الخطوات؛ لتمهيدية، التخطيط، التصميم، تعديل المنتج من الخبراء، التجريب الميداني. ومجتمع هذا البحث كل الطالب في الصف السابع بالمدرسة المتوسطة الإسلامية زين الحسن-قنقون بروبولنجو، وعيّن الباحث 28 طالبا في الصف السابع (أ). استخدم الباحث أدوات جمع البيانات منها الملاحظة، الاختبار القبلي والاختبار البعدى، والاستبيان، والمقابلة. ونتائج هذا البحث هي: 1) الكتاب التعليمي لمهارة الاستماع لدارس اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها .2) ارتفاع قدرة الطلاب في الاستماع ورغبتهم فيه وتغيير آرئهم عنه بأنه سهل. 3) إنّ المواد التعليمية فعالة لترقية قدرة الطلاب في الاستماع.

Abstract

Purpose - This research aims to know the programs for creating the language environment at Al-Mashduqiah Islamic Education Center Patokan Kraksaan Probolinggo, and describe the supporting and the obstacle factors in creating the language environment at Al-Mashduqiah Islamic Education Center Patokan Kraksaan Probolinggo. Design/methodology/approach - The researcher uses a qualitative research approach with a case study research design. The techniques that used for collecting data are observation, interview and documentation. Findings - The result of this research, the programs for creating the language environment at Al-Mashduqiah Islamic Education Center Patokan Kraksaan Probolinggo there are delivering of vocabularies, repeating of vocabularies, language clubs, language court, public speaking, conversation, language month, language competition, and repairing. The Supporting and the obstacle factors in creating the language environment at Al-Mashduqiah Islamic Education Center Patokan Kraksaan Probolinggo consist of internal factors and external factors. Originality/value – Depend on the results of this research that to creat the language environment needs some efforts such as doing the language programs, practising, implementing an effective language teaching method, and implementing the language games to reduce boredom and to motivate students in learning a foreign language.
