Abstract

Writing this article aims to describe the empirical data on student psychological power S1 UPI that includes psychological problems in fulfilling the needs and competencies of intrapersonal and interpersonal competence as elements that build psychological power. This study was conducted in 2011 using quantitative descriptive method to sample as many as 585 students S1 UPI selected using non probability sampling techniques. The results showed that at the university level andfaculty, the highest percentage in the fulfillment of psychological problems is not free in the choice of life and does not understand the responsibilities attached to the selection. Psychological power level students in general are in a category average, the percentage of students who have psychological power below the average higher than the above average, as well as the distribution of competence intrapersonal and interpersonal competence. The percentage of students FPBS and FPMIPA with power levels of psychological, interpersonal competence, and interpersonal competencies under average considerably higher than students with psychological power levels above the average; while the percentage of students FIP and FPTK with power levels of psychological, interpersonal competence and interpersonal competence above average muchhigher than students with psychological power levels below average.Keywords: psychological power, psychological, interpersonal competence, interpersonalcompetence.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the collaborative reasoning technique to develop students' Moral Comprehension in class X of State High School 1 Gegesik. The research approach used was the quasi-experimental method and non-equivalent control group research design. Research instruments using the Defining Issue Test (Rest's DIT-1). The results of the research are: (1) the Moral Comprehension of students is generally in stage 4; (2) the results of the dissemination of DIT-1 instruments; and (3) guidance and counseling programs with collaborative reasoning proven effective in developing students' Moral Comprehension with changes in the stages of Moral Comprehension of students. Success criteria due to more than 50% of students are in steps 4, 5 and 6.

Abstract

Abstract Academic stress is something that is often experienced by students, especially with the change in the online learning system which is felt to put more academic pressure on students. This study aims to examine the contribution of academic self-concept to student engagement in online learning mediated by academic stress. Respondents (N = 356) students in Indonesia University of Education batch 2016 to 2019 completed questionnaire of The Academic Self-concept Scale (? = 0,74), The Online Student Engagement Scale (? = 0,90), and The Perception of Academic Stress Scale (? = 0,80). The sampling technique used is incidental sampling. The analyses technique using linear regression and multiple regression then continued with causal steps to find out whether academic stress can be a mediator in the contribution of academic self-concept to student engagement in online learning. The results of this study indicate that academic stress is not function as a mediator in contribution of academic self-concept to student engagement, because one of the requirements is not fulfilled. However, academic stress can be a predictor of academic self-concept and student engagement variables.Keywords: Online learning; Academic Self-concept; Student Engagement; Academic Stress. AbstrakStres akademik merupakan suatu hal yang sering dialami oleh mahasiswa, terlebih dengan adanya perubahan sistem perkuliahan menjadi daring yang dirasa lebih memberikan tekanan akademik kepada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kontribusi konsep diri akademik terhadap keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan daring yang dimediasi oleh stres akademik. Responden (N = 356) mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia dari angkatan 2016-2019 mengisi kuesioner Konsep Diri Akademik (? = 0,74), Keterlibatan Mahasiswa dalam Perkuliahan Daring (? = 0,90), dan Stres Akademik (? = 0,80). Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik incidental sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda kemudian dilanjut dengan analisis jalur atau causal steps untuk mengetahui apakah stres akademik dapat menjadi mediator pada kontribusi konsep diri akademik terhadap keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan daring. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa stres akademik tidak berperan sebagai mediator pada kontribusi konsep diri akademik terhadap keterlibatan mahasiswa, karena salah satu syarat uji mediasi tidak terpenuhi. Namun, stres akademik dapat menjadi prediktor pada masing-masing variabel yaitu variabel konsep diri akademik dan variabel keterlibatan mahasiswa.   Kata kunci: Perkuliahan Daring; Konsep Diri Akademik; Keterlibatan Mahasiswa; Stres Akademik.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain the fundamental element that helps develop effective communication between parents and late adolescents. While undergoing academic activities in higher education, late adolescents often experience various academic stresses. To deal with these, late adolescents need to communicate with their parents as their closest relatives. This way, they can get positive support to be more motivated and responsible in academic activities. Late adolescents - parents good communication may also reduce learning burnout and depression. However, the types of communication that occurred are not as expected. It does not provide the right solutions, and it makes late adolescents feel judged, unrespected and even causes conflicts. Therefore, parents and adolescents need to know the fundamental element to develop effective communication between them. Through literature review as the preliminary research conducted to determine what elements can develop effective communication, findings showed that mindfulness is the fundamental element in developing effective communication between parents and their late adolescents who are experiencing academic stress in higher education.

Abstract

Suasana kelas yang kondusif adalah salah satu hal penting dalam mendukung keberhasilan pembelajaran. Namun, tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa masih terdapat siswa yang melakukan perilaku yang mengganggu dalam pembelajan. Perilaku mengganggu tersebut dapat menimbulkan efek yang negatif dalam pembelajaran. Perilaku mengganggu dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya adalah jenis kelamin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan sikap siswa SMK terhadap perilaku mengganggu siswa di kelas berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pengisian kuesioner oleh siswa SMK yang terdiri dari 189 orang dan berasal dari SMK di Kecamatan Bandung Kulon dan Parongpong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase terbesar pada kategori sikap siswa terhadap perilaku mengganggu adalah kategori common yaitu sebesar 74% yang mempunyai makna bahwa siswa menganggap bahwa perilaku menggnggu adalah yang biasa terjadi. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa siswa perempuan mempersepsikan perilaku mengganggu siswa di kelas tersebut lebih mengganggu dibandingkan siswa laki-laki baik secara total maupun per dimensinya yaitu pelanggaran berat, pelanggaran ringan, makan atau minum dikelas, mengganggu kelas, keterlambatan dan ketidakhadiran serta tidak berpartisipasi dalam kelas. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rekomendasi bagi guru untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

Early childhood education is a coaching effort carried out for children from birth to the age of six by providing educational stimuli in helping their physical and spiritual growth and development with the aim that children have maximum readiness to enter higher education levels. Numerical literacy in early childhood can be used as a tool used in developing thinking skills in children, supporting children in developing various talents or intellectual potentials they have and can be used as a means of cultivating a positive affective side in instilling basic personalityThis study aims to describe a numeracy literacy skills in early childhood students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Researchers used purposive sampling to take research subjects, and obtained as many as 28 PAUD students, and from 28 people 3 people were taken to be analyzed in depth related to their numeracy literacy skills. Instruments in this research are observation, test, Interview, and dokumentation. Data analysis techniques in this study include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of research that have been done show that numeracy literacy in early childhood aged 5-6 years of arithmetic, geometry and patterns as follows: (1) Be able to name the symbols of numbers 1-20, (2) Have the ability to using number symbols to calculate, (3) Able to match numbers with number symbols and recognize differences based on "more than"; "less than"; and "most”, (4) Able to classify objects based on color, shape and size (3 variations), (5) Have the ability to sort objects by size from smallest to largest or vice versa,  (6) Can estimate the next pattern after seeing the shape of more than 3 consecutive patterns (7) Meets errors in writing number symbols due to the accumulation of information received by the brain. This happens because at the same time, the brain receives information in the form of numeric symbols in Arabic and number symbols in general at the same time, (8) Numeracy literacy activities in the pandemic period for early childhood can still be done one of them with learning involving the environment which without eliminating the element of play but still able to facilitate the development of children.

Abstract

This study aims to design and examine the behavior modification program using a technique token economy to improve responsible behavior of children in kindergarten Ar-Rahman Sukahening District of Tasikmalaya District Academic Year 2016/2017. Behavior modification program designed by the study of the symptoms of lack of responsible behavior, the factors causing low responsible behavior, their lack of responsible behavior, and the need for programs to improve the behavior. This study uses a quantitative approach with quasi experimental method and pretest-posttest control group design. In general, the behavior of the responsibility for early childhood and kindergarten groups Ar-Rahman Sukahening District Academic Year 2016/2017 in middle category. There is a difference between the value pretest nd post-test children after the program. Thus it can be interpreted that behavior modification programs through effective technique token economy to improve responsible behavior of children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi lingkungan keluarga dan tekanan teman sebaya terhadap perilaku berisiko remaja di Kota Bandung. Metode penelitan yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan responden sebanyak 486 remaja berusia 13-18 tahun di Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu adaptasi dari Family Environment Scale untuk mengukur lingkungan keluarga, Peer Pressure Inventory untuk mengukur tekanan teman sebaya, dan Negative Risk Behaviour Scale untuk mengukur perilaku berisiko. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu regresi berganda. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh lingkungan keluarga dan tekanan teman sebaya terhadap perilaku berisiko. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai acuan bagi keluarga dan para orang tua dalam pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan yang positif dalam kehidupan keluarga bagi anak-anaknya sebagai salah satu upaya preventif terhadap terjadinya perilaku berisiko pada remaja.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kontribusi personal fable dan perceived parental monitoring secara simultan terhadap perilaku berisiko pada remaja di Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah adaptasi dari New Personal Fable Scale untuk menjaring data personal fable, Parental Monitoring Questionnaire untuk menjaring data perceived parental monitoring, dan Risk-Taking Scales untuk menjaring data perilaku berisiko. Penelitian ini melibatkan 395 remaja berusia 13 – 18 tahun di Bandung dengan status sebagai siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa personal fable dan perceived parental monitoring secara simultan tidak berkontribusi terhadap perilaku berisiko pada remaja. Setelah dilakukan pengujian secara parsial, ditemukan bahwa personal fable tidak berkontribusi terhadap perilaku berisiko, sedangkan perceived parental monitoring berkontribusi terhadap perilaku berisiko.
