Abstract

This study analyzes the application of student management in the Wadi Mubarak tahfizh program and seeks to find its development. The study uses a descriptive qualitative type approach by providing a narrative description of the management of students conducted in the Al Quran tahfizh program of the Ushuluddin College of Science (STIU) Wadi Mubarak. Research data is presented in verbal form and analyzed without using statistical techniques. The research concludes, first, the importance of time management to regulate the implementation of various activities within the scope of the students' management. Second, in developing discipline, it is necessary to apply the principle of conflict management in Islam, which is oriented to improvement rather than punishment, involving a team that is good at keeping secrets and making tabayun as part of the handling procedures. Third, the importance of building the involvement of parents or guardians in the coaching discipline. Fourth, the need to adjust the recording format with learning targets. Fifth, the importance of formulating an alumni empowerment system, and sixth, the importance of maximizing guidance and counseling services to care for and foster a spirit of learning. AbstrakPenelitian ini menganalisa penerapan manajemen peserta didik pada program tahfizh Wadi Mubarak dan berupaya menemukan pengembangannya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitiatif jenis deskriptif dengan cara memberikan gambaran naratif tentang manajemen peserta didik yang dilakukan pada program tahfizh al Quran Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ushuluddin (STIU) Wadi Mubarak. Data penelitian disajikan dalam bentuk verbal dan dianalisis tanpa menggunakan teknik statistik. Penelitian mengambil simpulan, pertama, pentingnya manajemen waktu untuk mengatur penyelenggaraan berbagai kegiatan kegiatan dalam 7 lingkup manajemen peserta didik. Kedua, dalam pembinaan disiplin perlu diterapkan prinsip manajemen konflik dalam Islam yaitu berorientasi pada perbaikan bukan hukuman, melibatkan tim yang pandai menjaga rahasia dan menjadikan tabayun sebagai bagian dari prosedur penanganan. Ketiga, pentingnya membangun keterlibatan orang tua atau wali dalam pembinaan disiplin. Keempat, perlunya menyesuaikan format pencatatan dengan target-target belajar. Kelima, pentingnya merumuskan sistem pemberdayaan alumni, dan keenam, pentingnya memaksimalkan layanan bimbingan dan konseling dalam rangka merawat dan memupuk semangat belajar.

Abstract

Expectations to improving the quality of teaching process and learning outcomes, has been a major challenge in providing education in MTs/Madrasah (Islamic Junior High School) at this time. Accordingly, as the educator, teachers are often seen as the main and first factors that determine the quality of learning. Teachers are required to have high motivation and adequate pedagogic competence in performing their duties. In fact, the fulfillment of qualifications and pedagogic competence of teachers is becoming the fundamental issues in education held at Madrasah. In general, the quality of Madrasah teachers is relatively lower than teachers in public schools. Besides, there are still many teachers in MTs in Bekasi whose motivation is low. Research focuses on assessing the motivation and pedagogic competence of teachers in order to improve the quality of learning in the Madrasah. In spesific, the purpose of research is to describe the characteristics of teacher motivation, pedagogic competence of teacher, and finding the motivation and pedagogic competence development strategy, in order to improve the quality of learning. The study was conducted using a descriptive approach to describe the reality of the empirical analysis is based on data and various sources. The experiment was conducted at the Islamic Junior Secondary School (MTs) in Bekasi District. The data obtained through interviews, document analysis, and questionnaires. Sources of research data are teachers, principal of MTs, MTs supervisors, and leaders of coaching institutions at the district religious ministry office. Data obtained through the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive techniques. Data from interviews and document analysis were analyzed through a process of data reduction, data presentation, and taking conclusions based on the findings and results of the verification. Based on the results of the study concluded that there was no significant difference between the teachers who have been trained by the training yet, either for motivation, pedagogic competence and quality of learning. Therefore we need a model of training that can improve motivation, pedagogic competence and quality of learning. Training model should include (1) the motivation of teachers needs to be improved in order to improve the quality of learning both in the aspect of performance of duties, self-development, or building relationships, (2) the pedagogic competence of teachers needs to be improved in order to greater quality of learning with an emphasis on pedagogical and social dimension, (3) development of motivation can be done by strengthening the intrinsic motivation to approach the job expansion and job enrichment and strengthening of extrinsic motivation through guidance, distribution of tasks and responsibilities, performance appraisal followed by providing feedback (reward and punishment), creating a conducive working atmosphere, and provide career development opportunities in accordance achievement. Pedagogic dompetence development can be done using an individual-based approach through the development of self and institution-based approaches through supervision, empowerment, conducting scientific activities, as well as fostering and development of discipline and ethics teacher profession.Keywords: Kompetensi Guru, Madrasah, Motivasi, Mutu Pembelajaran

Abstract

The formation of disciplined character is one of the important aspects in primary education. This study aims to formulate attitude indicators taken from disciplined character education that is based on Bukhari ahâdîth and to explore the perceptions of homeroom teachers at SDIT in Jakarta on these attitude indicators. This research is a mixed study with a literature study approach and an analytic network process approach. The indicators of discipline character attitudes that are formulated are obeying, being responsible, not bullying, and being polite. The homeroom teachers have the opinion that the most significant variables as indicators, are obedience (0.33), responsibility (0.27), respect and courtesy (0.21), and not bullying (0.11).AbstrakPembentukan karakter disiplin salah satu aspek penting dalam pendidikan dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan indikator sikap hasil pendidikan karakter disiplin dari hadis-hadis Bukhari serta menggali persepsi wali kelas SDIT di Jakarta atas indikator sikap tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian campuran dengan pendekatan studi pustaka serta pendekatan analytic network process. Indikator sikap karakter disiplin yang terumuskan adalah taat, bertanggung jawab, tidak merundung dan bersikap santun. Para wali kelas berpendapat bahwa variabel yang paling signifikan sebagai indikator secara berturut-turut adalah sikap taat (0,33), bertanggung jawab (0,27), hormat dan santun (0,21) dan tidak merundung (0,11).

Abstract

Pesantren as an informal institution of education has been growing from recent years. Nowadays, the development of pesantren has been progressed. In these days, most people know Pesantren because of its success in making our nations have a better generations. Pesantren has gotten many respect from the society and another formal institutions because of their organized and neatly plans in their programs. Regardless of whether it is possible or not that their format and concept of education have been found, this phenomenon clearly indicates that the symptoms to establish Pesantren educational institutions are interesting to study.Generally, this study is having a goal to describe integrated boarding innovation management in Pesantren Terpadu and Pesantren at al-Karimiyah Darussalam and to acknowledge the format of an ideal concept of integrated management of schools in both of Pesantren. The design of this study is using a qualitative approachment with multicases design. In this study, our data have been collected through interviews, participant observation and documentation. The results of this study indicated the existence of an integrated management of Pesantren in Al-Karimiyah boarding schools and Daarussalam boarding schools. Both schools are also incorporate the concept of curriculum of the National Education Ministry and Religion Ministry, while maintaining the tradition of reviewing the books of yellow as a characteristic of the Pesantren. Pesantren Al-Karimiyah managed their education and their technique of teaching by assimilating the three systems of education management, such as management of education based on the Ministry of Religion curriculum, education management based on Pesantren Salaf, and management of education that refers to the modern Pesantren Gontor. Based on that three types of management education assimilation, They are synthesized into a pattern of innovation management education and technique of teaching which are interesting to study. With their way, Pesantren Al-Karimiyah and Daarussalam are able to make their education and technique of teaching more vibrant and competitive with the times.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a model of honesty teaching using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in educational institutions of Islamic boarding School. The development of this model is intended to find a teaching model-implementable applicable and adaptable to the circumstances of the boarding school with programs that already exist, structured and based on Islamic values. This study also aims to answer the problems of degradation of morals, ethics and morals recently joined struck boarding school as a result of global transformation so quickly, ahead of human mental readiness in the face. This study uses action research collaborative participatory and quantitative analytical descriptive with one independent variable and one dependent variable. One independent variable is a business act or treatment, which is "Honesty Teaching Model Using Information and Communication Technology", and the dependent variable is the influence of the action; namely the improvement and enhancement of the value of honesty. The subjects of this study are 55 students of Al-Azhaar Islamic Boarding School consist of class one junior and senior high school by involving four teachers as counselors and four collaborators as observers. Measuring devices or media used in this study are instruments in the form of pre-test and post-test as well as programs for the teaching that has taken place in Al-Azhaar Islamic Boarding School with some additions such as honesty canteen and honesty kitchens. As for the character you want to repair in this action research are the values of honesty through six indicators, namely; (1) Discipline (2) Responsibility, (3) Commitments, (4) Consistent (5) Fairness, and (6) Says True. The results of this study stated that "Honesty Teaching Model Using Information and Communication Technologies" very significant influence on attitudes and behavior improvement honest. Where the results of paired t-test between the average value of the pre-test and post-test showed a statistically differ greatly. Thus, the results of this research can be developed and used as a teaching model, especially in Islamic boarding school or in educational institutions boarding. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effective times in the learning process. Through this study, researchers have come to a conclusion that in general there are certain times that are very suitable and primarily used in learning time. Saw., Then refined with field research by examining the use of study time in Islamic boarding schools. From the results of this study showing that in general, the most effective time to study is in the morning, because in general it is a fresh time, so morning is the most productive time to do anything, including learning process. This conclusion is in line with the opinion of the scholars. Furthermore, in detail each time has the most suitable activity from each learning process; Sahur time and evening time are more suitable for memorizing; while the night time is more suitable for repeating and analyzing; and the time of day is more suitable for writing and copying knowledge. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui waktu-waktu efektif dalam proses belajar. Melalui kajian ini peneliti telah sampai pada sebuah kesimpulan bahwa secara umum ada waktu-waktu tertentu yang sangat cocok dan utama digunakan dalam waktu belajar. Saw.. Kemudian dilengkapi dengan penelitian lapangan dengan meneliti penggunaan waktu belajar di Pondok Pesantren. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum, waktu yang paling efektif untuk belajar adalah waktu pagi, karena memang secara umum ia merupakan waktu segar, maka pagi merupakan waktu paling produktif untuk mengerjakan apa saja, termasuk proses belajar. Kesimpulan ini sejalan dengan pendapat para ulama. Selanjutnya, secara rinci setiap waktu mempunyai aktivitas yang paling cocok dari masing-masing proses belajar; waktu Sahur dan waktu sore lebih cocok untuk menghafal; sedangkan waktu malam lebih cocok untuk mengulang dan menganalisis; dan waktu siang lebih cocok untuk menulis dan menyalin ilmu.

Abstract

Quality of learning can be affected by the effectiveness of the communication that was built by the teacher in the learning process. To produce an effective learning process, teachers are required to have good communication skills. Therefore, to know the implementation, effectiveness and communication enabling and inhibiting factors in the learning that takes place in an educational institution conducted a study entitled "Analysis of Communication Learning Institute of Islamic Education (Case Studies in Karawang regency MAN)". This study aims to determine the implementation of learning communication, enabling factors, inhibiting factors and the effectiveness of communication and how learning occurs in MAN Karawang regency. Results of this study are expected to provide solutions to the problems of learning communication especially in MAN Karawang regency. The method used is the case study method, the study design using the communication network analysis of Rogers & Kincaid. In this study developed the concept of the fifth components of learning communication, communication source, message communication, communication channels, message recipient, and feedback. Research instruments developed through questionnaires, interviews and field observations. The study was conducted in 4 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in Karawang district with a total sample of 120 students and 127 teachers. he results show the communication of the fifth components of learning, which is best done by teachers and students is a component of the message communication with a percentage of 96 %, whereas the lowest was learning media component that is equal to 72 %. Fifth components of learning communication concept which is based on the results of this study suggested to do in madrasah aliyah in Karawang regency.Keyword: Learning communication, communication variabel, effectivityy

Abstract

Several previous studies have shown that the understanding of intolerance has entered the college students' circle. The purpose of this study is to dissect the perception of tolerance that develops in students at Islamic universities. This research is quantitative research using surveys for data collection. The number of samples taken is 257 people. This study found that Islamic college students tend not to interact with adherents of other religions. However, if you have to interact with followers of other religions, the interaction that occurs is positive. On the other hand, there are still quite a lot of students who do not choose a clear position in interacting with non-Muslims. AbstrakBeberapa penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman intoleran telah masuk ke kalangan mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membedah persepsi toleransi yang berkembang pada mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi Islam. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan survei untuk pengumpulan datanya. Jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah 257 orang. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa mahasiswa perguruan tinggi Islam cenderung untuk tidak berinteraksi dengan penganut agama lain. Namun demikian jika harus berinteraksi dengan penganut agama lain interaksi yang terjadi adalah interaksi yang positif. Di sisi lain masih cukup banyak mahasiswa yang tidak memilih posisi yang jelas dalam berinteraksi dengan non muslim.

Abstract

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia and experts have provided leadership requirements are very strict agency also has a good learning method, a lot of achievements have earned, but why are there still negative cases in this country? The problem under study is about leadership learning methods are to be used Rasulullah SAW to the companions in the book Sunan Ibn Majah, and how to implement the teaching methods in educational leadership at the institution? The learning method is the means used to implement a plan that has been prepared in the form of real and practical activities to achieve the learning objectives. Leadership is the behavior of an individual who leads the activities of a group to a common goal to be achieved (shared goal). Companions are receiving direct hadith from the Prophet Muhammad SAW both subjects and nature answers to the problems faced. This study uses literature review are sourced from the literature. Researchers collected data based on that described for the qualitative analysis. This study addressed the issue of leadership learning methods that take hadith as its foundation. While to analyze the problem, researchers classified the hadith based on the theory of learning methods and leadership to further analyze the classification results and relate it to the subject. Through this study found that the leadership of the Prophet Muhammad learning methods.The most widely used Prophet S.A.W. is exemplary method, lecture and question and answer method. Prophet S.A.W. also use a unifying method, method the direction giver, liability method, the method of advice, wills method, the method fun, istikharah methods, and methods of Tahajjud, as well as commonly used method is the method of the story, the assignment method, the method of teaching leadership in educating fellow companions. This study obtained data that the term leadership (Imamate term) the most widely applied is obedient to the priest. Then the value of leadership exercised by the Prophet Muhammad the companions of the most widely applied is exemplary. The researcher recommends that the leadership institute master three methods above, the exemplary method, a lecture and subsequent question and answer method of applying the values of exemplary leadership, piety to Allah SWT, and noble character in leadership at the institution.Keywords: leadership, learning method, sahabah, Sunan Ibnu Majah
