Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan untuk membangun semangat siswa-siswi dalam belajar. Tempat kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Sekolah SD Negeri 5 pulau Raam yang merupakan salah satu kelurahan distrik sorong kepulauan, Pulau Raam, Kota Sorong, Papua Barat. Kondisi pada masa pandemi yang belum diketahui kapan akan berakhir membuat peran orang tua sangat dibutuhkan. kerjasama antara guru dan orang tua sangat diperlukan untuk tercapainya tujuan pendidikan Kemudian kebijakan pemerintah daerah yang membatasi jadwal kegiatan proses belajar mengajar yang membuat guru di sekolah SD Negeri 5 Pulau Raam  hanya bisa masuk 3 kali dalam seminggu. Metode yang digunakan dalam melaksnakan kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu sosialisasi dan diskusi bersama guru dan orang tua. Peserta dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu orang tua atau wali murid siswa-siswi dan Guru SD Negeri 5 Pulau Raam. Jumlah peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan Pengabdian ini sebanyak 15 orang dan 35 orangnya yaitu orang tua atau wali murid SD Negeri 5 pulau Raam. Total peserta sosialisasi yakni berjumlah 50 orang. Kegiatan sosialisai seperti ini sangat diperlukan orang tua agar membuka wawasan orang tua bahwa pembelajaran bukan hanya terjadi disekolah tetapi di rumah juga proses belajar dapat terjadi. Kerjasama antara guru  dan orang tua akan tercapai tujuan pendidikan berdasarkan Undang-Undang Dasar..

Abstract

Sago tree (Metroxilon sp.) Is native to Southeast Asia. The method used in this research is to use descriptive method with case study and free interview (free interview) field in processing sago and sago tree species which in though. Village community Malawor District Makbon Sorong regency has long consumed sago from natural forests and some sago already planted by ancestors hereditary. When rice and yams run out, people consume sago as a substitute. Most people still manage sago using traditional method for that which become problem point of this research is how kind of sago, process of traditional and semi traditional (scar machine) along with economical value of processed sago which can by community of Kampung Malawor District of Makbon Regency Sorong

Abstract

Adapun tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika berdasarkan kepribadian dan pekerjaan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif . Subjek penelitian ini dilakukan pada delapan Mahasiswa. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini berupa:1) data hasil tes kepribadian MBTI yang berupa alat tes, yang akan diberikan kepada Mahasiswa; 2) data hasil tes pemecahan masalah yang berupa uraian yang diberikan kepada Mahasiswa; 3) dari hasil wawancara terhadap Mahasiswa. Instrument pendukung yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diantaranya yaitu:1) alat tes Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI); 2) soal tes pemecahan masalah; 3) pedoman wawancara; 4) alat perekam. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah triangulasi sumber, diantaranya adalah: 1) tes Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI); 2) tes pemecahan masalah; 3) wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Berpikir kreatif ekstrovert mempunyai pekerjaan dalam pemecahan masalah,  sudah mampu memenuhi kreteria fluency, flexibility dan  originality. Sedangkan, estrovert yang tidak memiliki pekerjaan belum mampu memenuhi kreteria flexibility dan originality. Selanjutnya berpikir kreatif introvert yang memiliki pekerjaan dalam pemecahan masalah, sudah memenuhi kreatifitas fluency, flexibility, dan originality. Sedangkan berpikir kreatif  introvert  tidak memiliki pekerjaan dalam pemecahan masalah, sudah mampu memenuhi kreatifitas fluency. Namun, belum dapat memenuhi kriterian pada tahap flexibility dan originality.The purpose of this study was to determine how students' creative thinking skills in solving math problems based on personality and work. This type of research is descriptive. The approach used is qualitative. The subject of this research was conducted on eight students. The data obtained in this study are: 1) data on the MBTI personality test results in the form of a test kit, which will be given to students; 2) data on problem solving test results in the form of descriptions given to students; 3) from the results of interviews with students. The supporting instruments used in this study include: 1) the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) test kit; 2) problem solving test questions; 3) interview guidelines; 4) recording device. The data collection technique used in this study was source triangulation, including: 1) the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) test; 2) problem-solving tests; 3) interview. The results of this study are that extrovert creative thinking has a job in problem solving, is able to meet the criteria of fluency, flexibility and originality. Meanwhile, estroverts who do not have a job have not been able to meet the flexibility and originality criteria. Furthermore, introvert creative thinking who has a job in problem solving, has fulfilled the creativity of fluency, flexibility, and originality. Meanwhile, introvert creative thinking does not have a job in problem solving, it is able to fulfill the creativity fluency. However, he has not been able to meet the criteria on the flexibility and originality stages.

Abstract

Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah “Mengembangkan e-modul berbasis Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowlodge (TPACK) yang valid dan praktis. Metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam pengembangan adalah yaitu model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Subjek uji coba dalam pengembangan modul ini adalah mahasiswa semester 1 prodi Teknik Permesinan Kapal pada Polteknik Pelayaran Sorong. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan di dalam pengembangan ini yaitu : a) Lembar validasi modul; b) Lembar Kepraktisan Modul. Lembar validasi terdiri dari: a) Lembar Validasi Ahli Materi, dan b) Lembar Validasi Ahli Media. Sedangkan Lembar Kepraktisan Modul terdiri dari : a) Angket respon dosen; b) Angket respon mahasiswa, dan c) Lembar keefektifan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik tes dan non-tes. Teknik tes yang dimaksud adalah tes hasil belajar terdiri dari lembar pretest dan lembar posttest. Adapun kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah, sebagai berikut: Penilaian kevalidan modul berada pada nilai rata-rata 3,09 dan berada pada kriteria “valid” sehingga modul layak digunakan. Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran diperoleh presentase respon dosen yaitu 83% dan rata-rata presentase respon mahasiswa adalah 89% sehingga modul dinyatakan memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan. Berdasarkan uraian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan E-Modul berbasis Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowlodge (TPACK) memenuhi kriteria kevalid dan kepraktisan

Abstract

Abstract: Due to difficulties in learning geometry, the teacher plays an important and active role in creating students who have good problem solving skills. The teacher also has to test the level of geometrical thinking of students based on Van Hiele's theory to find out the students understanding about geometry material, so the teacher can overcome the difficulties of students in learning geometry. This research is designed to explore and describe the process of geometry problem solving based on Van Hiele's theory. Therefore this research used descriptive exploratory. It used qualitative approach. The subject of this research is limited to University of Muhammadiyah Sorong students which obtained the level of visualization, analysis, informal deductive and will be analyzed based on the gender. Data of this research is 1) Geometry Van Hiele Test; 2) Problem Solving Test; 3) Interview. The conclusion of this research is: 1) At the level of male visualization thinking is to identify problem and determine goal using language problem. While at the level of women visualization, it reached on determining goal, ; 2) the level of male analysis thinking is able to pass five steps in problem solving by using own language but are less systematic. While level of female analysis thinking is able to pass five steps in problem solving systematically; 3) level of male deductive formal thinking is to pass five steps problem solving systematically and using own language. While level of female deductive formal thinking is able to pass five steps problem solving systematically and explaining by using own language.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to explore and describe the process of problem solving geometry reach the level of visualization based on the Van Hiele theory. This type of research is descriptive explorative and qualitative approach. Subject of the study was obtained from the high school students who were tested on the level of Van Hiele geometry. Each level of visualization. The results of this study indicate that solving problems in geometry learners who attained think visualization is to identify problems and set goals using the language question.

Abstract

Abstact: This study aims to determine the effect of the ethnomathematics learning approach with a problem based learning model on the interest and learning outcomes of eighth grade students of MTs An-nur, Sorong City. This research is a pre-experimental research. The subjects of this study were class VIII students of MTs An-nur Yapis, Sorong City, in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research was conducted in 4 meetings. Data collection techniques are observation, questionnaires, tests, documentation and field notes. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative. After the data is analyzed and the results of the T-Test test calculations are obtained, the tcount value is (-28,638) ttable (2,080) thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is an influence of the ethnomathematical learning approach with problem based learning learning models on interests and outcomes. students learn mathematics, class circle material at VIII MTs An-nur Yapis Sorong City. In addition, to see whether or not the problem based learning model has an effect on students' interest and learning outcomes in mathematics, it can be seen from the average results of the pretest and posttest with an average KKM value of 73. Student learning outcomes in the pretest 32.45 and posttest are 79, 04. Meanwhile, 11 students answered that they were very happy and 13 students answered that they were happy to use problem based learning because they could easily complete the teaching materials given. Thus, it can be concluded that learning by using an ethnomathematical learning approach with a Problem Based Learning model has been carried out well.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the role of parents in terms of learning assistance during Covid 19. The method used is field research (FieldReseach), that is, if this research departs directly into the field to make direct observations about the role of parents towards children in online learning that is carried out from the student's home or environment. The research location is in RT 2/RW 4, Malanu Village, Sorong City. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and interviews with parents of students. The results of this study indicate that 6 parents have tried to be able to take the time to be able to help and accompany their children's learning activities directly. While the other 4 parents have tried, even though they have not been able to maximize it. The several inhibiting factors are 1) external factors and, 2) internal factors.
