Abstract

Learning Indonesian in elementary schools often encounters several obstacles, one of which is students' activeness in participating in learning. These conditions can affect student learning outcomes in these subjects. The aim of this research is to increase student activity in learning Indonesian by using wordwall media and implementing the PBL learning model. This research used the classroom action research method with subjects of 24 grade 2 students at SDN Surojoyo, Sapuran District, Wonosobo Regency. This research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The results of the research show that the application of the PBL learning model with Wordwall media at SDN Surojoyo, Sapuran District, Wonosobo Regency for grade 2 can increase student activity in learning Indonesian. In the pre-cycle activities, student activity was only 54.16%, while in the first cycle it increased to 66.67%. Meanwhile, in cycle II the activity increased rapidly to 83.33%. It can be concluded that the application of the PBL learning model with Wordwall media can increase student activity in learning Indonesian in elementary schools.
