Abstract

The research supported by the low ability to speak students For socialscience learning in class VII-E at SMP Negeri 26 bandung. This can beseen from livelines speak students Who only dominated by somestudents. While other students just stand still and not contributing within toconvey the ideas in front of the class. Seeing these problem, theresearcher choose Time Token Arends technique as a solution to increasetalking students ability. The purpose of this reseach is to describe aboutthe planning, implementation, improvement and reflection of theapplication of Time Token Arends technique to increase talking studentsability. The type of research that used is the class action Research (PTK)model Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of four stages. The resultof this research. First, planning is done by determining the SK and KD,making the RPP and research instrument. Second, the implementation ofthe class action is performed according to the plan has been compiledpreviously so that to obtain the result with the quot;goodquot; category. Third, theconstraints during the execution of the research is to compile the materialsourced from the experience of the students so that they can increasecourage talking students. These constraint can be improved by discussingregarding the design of the materials with colleagues and partners. Fourth,the result of this research shows that there is an increased ability to talk onevery cycle. Cycle one students talking ability reaches the quot;enoughquot;category, the second cycle of students speaking ability reaches the quot;goodquot;category, third adn fourth cycles reach the quot;goodquot; category. So based onthis, then time token arends technique can increase students talkingability.

Abstract

This research entitled Development of Mathematics Based Module of Ethnomathematics using Inkuiri method. This study aims to find out how the development of mathematics learning module based on ethnomathematics using inquiry method, and to know the teacher and student response to the development of mathematics learning module based on ethnomathematics using inquiry method. This research method is Research and Development (R&D) using 4D model. Based on the results of the validation of stage 1 by the material experts obtained a cumulative average of 65.36% with the criteria of "good enough" which means that there is an improvement of some aspects contained in the module. After performing a series of revisions, the average score of cumulative of 84.02% validation with "good" criterion was obtained, so there is no revision of the module. The average score of cumulative validation of stage 1 by a media expert is 60% with a "good enough" code which means that it needs to be revised in some parts of the module. In the second stage of validation, the average cultivation is 86.66% with "very good" criteria so that the module is valid and ready for a field trial. From the results of research teacher response to the module obtained an average of 86.15% with the criteria "very interesting". In the small group trial, the average of 85% was obtained with interesting criteria and large group trial obtained an average of 87.28% with very interesting criteria so that the module is feasible and ready to be used as teaching materials.

Abstract

This research was carried out in the Mansionkids Daycare in Pekanbaru. The background of raising this issue of modernity shifts the role of mothers who should be housewives into career women whose time is more outside than at home with children. the number of working mothers and the rise of urban child care parks is interesting for writers to examine. This thesis aims to analyze whether the mother's role has been replaced by caregivers when the child is in a day care center after the parents' motivation in entrusting the child there. this research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data used are primary and secondary methods. Data collection techniques were carried out by the method of observation, interviews, and documentation all of which answered the problems of researchers regarding the role of child care parks for working women. The informants of this study were four caregivers and four mothers who left their children based on a class that was opened for children. based on the results of this study, it was found that the role of socialization and protection proved to be able to replace the role of mothers at home. It's just that the affective role is judged to be lacking because of the lack of caregivers to care for children. as for the motivation of mothers to leave their children at Mansionkids Daycare is a place that is close to work and home, works 8 hours and no one takes care of, a safe and comfortable day care park, better socialization of children, and a menu that fulfills nutrition for child.Keywords: Role, Motivation, Child Care Center

Abstract

ABSTRAK - Kajian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kajian pragmatik. Adapun permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah “bagaimanakah bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif dalam percakapan nonformal siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Palu?”. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dimaksudkan untuk mendeksripsikan bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif dalam percakapan nonformal siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Palu. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa data lisan yang akan dideskripsikan dalam bentuk tulisan. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan siswa yang berada di Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Palu yang termaksud dalam tindak tutur ekspresif. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis secara kualitatif menggunakan teknik analisis data yaitu, mereduksi data, menyajikan data hingga menyimpulkan data. Berdasarkan analisis data, peneliti menemukan hasil penelitian tentang tindak tutur ekspresif dalam percakapan nonformal siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Palu yang melibatkan atas enam pembagian yaitu berterima kasih, memberi selamat, meminta maaf, menyalahkan, memuji dan berbelasungkawa. Kata kunci : tindak tutur, tindak tutur ekspresif, bentuk, fungsi
