Abstract

Keutamaan penelitian ini adalah upaya menyusun instrumen karakter anak usia dini dan kualitas lingkungan keluarga. Sehingga diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam mengatasi isu rendahnya kualitas SDM pada sebagian generasi muda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan kualitas lingkungan keluarga terhadap karakter anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain penelitian cross sectional study. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di TK Kota Bandar Lampung. Metode pengambilan sampel sekolah menggunakan metode cluster random sampling. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Total sampel sebanyak 30 keluarga. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan signifikan positif antara kualitas lingkungan keluarga dengan karakter anak usia dini (r=0,275, p=0,003).

Abstract

This workshop aims to provide training in coiling techniques for Early Childhood Education teachers to improve teacher skills in providing learning activities to improve fine motor skills for early childhood. Specifically, the objectives of this training are to 1) Help teachers in Early Childhood Education institutions to improve their ability to arrange learning activities related to fine motor skills, 2) Help teachers in Early Childhood Education institutions to develop their potential by creating innovative activities using the Pilin method, 3) Assisting teachers in developing their abilities related to the twisting method, 4) To find out the description of the fine motor level of teachers in Early Childhood Education institutions through the Paper Pilin Technique. The method chosen in this service activity is to provide assistance training in coiling techniques, either through counseling, discussions, simulation exercises, and giving assignments. The training is carried out in several stages, namely, socialization, implementation stage, and evaluation. The target of the activity is 30 kindergarten teachers in Bandar Lampung City. Service is carried out online. The results of this Community Service can be concluded that the improvement of fine motor skills in early childhood through the Paper Pilin Technique is very effective. This can be explained by the difference in the results of the mean on the pretest and posttest. This means that there is an increase in the knowledge and skills of kindergarten teachers regarding the improvement of fine motor skills in early childhood.

Abstract

In achieving better child well-being, international and Indonesia have agreed to increase efforts in the protection of children, including increasing the capacity of parents to perform better parenting. Time-shared activities among parent and children are important factor to create qualified parenting. The purpose of this study was to analyze the time-shared activities among parents-children and child protection in the family and its influence on children’s subjective well-being. This study was a cross-sectional design. Study sites were selectedpurposively at Ciputri Village, Pacet Sub District; and Sindang Jaya Village, Cipanas Sub District, Cianjur DistrictWest Java Province. One hundred and twenty families were purposively chosen among farmer families. Findingsshowed that the time-shared activities among parents-children were categorized as in low level. Child protection in physical aspect was in the low category but the environmental protection of child was in high category. Children’s subjective well-being was in the high category. Independent variables that influenced the children’s subjective well-being were time-shared activities among parents-children and physical protection. It was recommended to conduct socialization about the importance of child protection and time-shared activities amongparents-children on improving children’s subjective well-being among farmer families.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe parenting and speech development of children aged 5-6 years.  The method used in this study is quantitative with quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study is about 843 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, the sample in this study is 155 parents in the Sekampung District. Data collection in this study was conducted using questionnaire and observation techniques, while the data were analyzed by calculating the average score index score per dimension of parenting and percentage formula to analyze the development of children's speech. The results of the study show that the majority of parents in Sekampung District use democratic parenting with an average score index of 61.8 and and the development of children's speech in Sekampung District included in the speech development category is quite good with a percentage of 81.30%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola asuh orang tua dan perkembangan bicara anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitaif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 843 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 155 orang tua di Kecamatan Sekampung. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik kuesioner dan observasi, sedangkan data dianalisis dengan menghitung nilai rata-rata indeks skor per dimensi pola asuh dan rumus persentase untuk menganalisis perkembangan bicara anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas orang tua di Kecamatan Sekampung menggunakan pola asuh demokratis dengan nilai rata-rata indeks skor sebesar 61,8 dan perkembangan bicara anak di Kecamatan Sekampung masuk dalam kategori perkembangan bicara cukup baik dengan persentase sebesar 81,30%. Kata Kunci : anak usia dini, perkembangan bicara anak, pola asuh

Abstract

The aimed of the study to describe the empathy of children aged 5-6 years. The writer used a descriptive quantitative method. The sample of the study was 41 children aged 5-6 years from Kindergarten in Segala Mider Village of Bandar Lampung which took by using purposive sampling. In collecting data the writer used observation. Analyzing the data was used descriptive analysis. The results showed that most of the children had empathy in the low category (4,46 percent).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan empati anak usia 5-6 tahun. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan purposive sampling sebanyak 41 anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK) Kelurahan Segala Mider Kota Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar anak memiliki empati berada pada kategori rendah (41,46 persen).Kata kunci : anak usia dini, empati. dimensi afeksi.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpa.v6n2.22260

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low self-confidence of children aged 5-6 years old. This research aims to determine the effect of parenting on self-confidence of 5-6 years old children. This research was conducted in March 2019. The research method used was quantitative research methods. The sample in the research was 50 parents who had children aged 5-6 years old in the Negeri Batin Village Blambangan Umpu Subdistrict Way Kanan Regency, the Sampling used purposive sampling technique. Data collection in this research was conducted using questionnaire techniques, while data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that there was a strong influence between parenting parents on the self-esteem of 5-6 year old children in the Negeri Batin Village Blambangan Umpu Subdistrict Way Kanan Regency.Masalah dalam penelitian ini rendahnya kepercayaan diri anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh orangtua terhadap kepercayaan diri anak usia dini 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Maret 2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah  50 orangtua yang memiliki anak usia 5-6 tahun di Desa Negeri Batin Kecamatan Blambangan Umpu Kabupaten Way Kanan, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik kuesioner, sedangkan data dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang kuat antara pola asuh orangtua terhadap kepercayaan diri anak usia dini 5-6 tahun di Desa Negeri Batin Kecamatan Blambangan Umpu Kabupaten Way Kanan.Kata Kunci: anak usia dini, kepercayaan diri, pola asuh orangtua
