Abstract

Indonesia faces decreasing in its number during period of 2018-2019 according to SINTA (Indonesian scientific indexing) database. This situation is alarming amid country’s effort to improve its research and development from which the scientific publication has been used as a measure. This article presents a dataset of bibliometric from all Indonesian institutions (424 institutions as of January 2020) indexed by Scopus database. We collected data on documents per year and document type. Different from other datasets, this article presents longitudinal data from 2014-2019, in which during this period dramatic change occurs from steep rise, exponential, and degradation during 2018-2019. We analyzed publication number from leading institutions at different points in time and compared document types (i.e., number of journal article and conference paper, in which both types are the driving force of Indonesia’s growing scientific publication number). Since this dataset covers all country’s institutions, it is potential for reuse by policy makers in research and development, researchers from each institution, as well as other stakeholders.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis; (1) pengaruh persepsi tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, (2) pengaruh persepsi budaya kerja terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, (3) pengaruh citra diri terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, dan(4) pengaruh persepsi tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya kerja, dan citra diri terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap SMK Negeri se Kabupaten Cilacap. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional untuk melihat pengaruh tiga variabel bebas berupa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah (X1), budaya kerja (X2), dan citra diri (X3) terhadap satu variabel terikat kinerja guru tidak tetap (Y). Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik simple stratified random sampling sejumlah 77 responden dari 255 anggota populasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji asumsi klasik berupa uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji autokorelasi dan menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan; (1) tidak ada pengaruh signifikan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, (2) ada pengaruh signifikan budaya kerja terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, (3) ada pengaruh signifikan citra diri terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, dan (4) ada pengaruh signifikan secara simultan, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya kerja, dan citra diri terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap. Harga koefisien determinasi penelitian sebesar 0,653 yang artinya variabel persepsi tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, persepsi budaya kerja, dan citra diri secara simultan mempengaruhi 65,3% kinerja guru tidak tetap dan sisanya 34,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. variabel di luar penelitian ini.

Abstract

Internet video sharing has been used by scholars for two main purposes. First, it is for informal scholarly communication including teaching and academic conferences. Second, it is for engagement tool by contemporary society. Renewable energy technology has also been utilizing internet video sharing technology for those purposes. It is a promotional tool to disseminate information about the technology as well as a media for public engagement with renewable energy issues. This paper reviews how YouTube, the most popular internet video sharing website whose content is created and accessed publicly for free of charge, has been elaborated in scholarly publication in the various fields prior to showing how renewable energy is portrayed in YouTube. By using a hundred YouTube most viewed videos, this paper presents an in-depth and systematic measurement study on the characteristics of YouTube videos on renewable energy issues.

Abstract

Metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFET) were fabricated using organic semiconductor pentacene. The humidity dependence of drain current gate voltage (ID-VG) characteristic and drain current drain voltage characteristic (ID-VD) will be explained. Firstly, the thermal oxidation method was used to grow SiO2 gate insulator with thickness of 11 nm. Secondly, the thermal evaporation method was used to form Au source and drain electrodes with thickness of 28 nm. The channel width and length of the transistors were 500 mm and 200 mm, respectively. By the same method, organic semiconductor material pentacene was deposited with thickness of 50 nm at vacuum of 7.8x10-6 Torr. The hole mobility decreased from 0.035 cm2/(Vs) to 0.006 cm2/(Vs), while the threshold voltage increased from 0.5 V to 2.5 V and gate leakage current also increased from 5.8x10-10 A to 3.3x10-9 A when the relative humidity increased from 20% to 70%.

Abstract

This paper examines the promotional activities of higher education abroad program of Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech), Japan, namely Global Scientists and Engineers Program (GSEP), that was carried out in Indonesia. The objective is to document the lessons learned in the form of promotional methods, to identify the challenges, and to summarize some reccomendations. GSEP is an international Bachelor of Engineering degree program in Tokyo Tech majoring in Transdisciplicnary Scince and Engineering that is launched in 2015. This program is fully taught in English, thus it expects to attract more international students, such as from Asian countries, to pursue higher education in Tokyo Tech. For this reason, the promotional activities in Indonesia was done in August 2016 by presentation in front of thirteen high schools in Jakarta and nearby. For improvement of future promotion effort, participants were requested to express their evaluation regarding content and delivery of the material presentation by fulfilling questionnaire survey. The results reveal several interesting facts about Indonesian high school students, such as their willingness to study abroad even without scholarship, and some important aspects on how to effectively promote higher education abroad program in science and engineering in Indonesia.

Abstract

The research objective was to analyze the educational background of Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) teachers at SMK Negeri Cilacap Regency, describe what elements or insights are contained in TKJ teacher competency standards (SKG), and map the professional competence of TKJ teachers based on teacher competency standards at State Vocational High Schools. Cilacap Regency. The research method is quantitative research with a descriptive research design. The place of research is SMK Negeri in Cilacap Regency with the subject of research is the teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Cilacap and SMK Negeri 1 Binangun, the data collection technique uses questionnaires and the data analysis technique uses descriptive quantitative statistics. The results showed that; (1) the educational background of TKJ teachers at SMK Negeri Cilacap Regency is in accordance with government regulations regarding the number of teachers and the number of study groups and according to the field of expertise of educator certificates, (2) the elements contained in the SKG are planning, assembling and installing computers, building a digital information network, and building a data network system and (3) a map of the professional competency of TKJ teachers, the average teacher mastery of professional competence is 76% in the very good category, there are some teachers in the master category in the percentage range of 55% to 71%..

Abstract

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of personal protective equipment in the community has contributed to the increasing amount of medical waste. Medical waste from the COVID-19 pandemic is classified as infectious medical waste which is waste related to patients who need isolation from infectious diseases. one of the solutions offered is a medical waste incinerator. By studying the medical waste incinerator model in the hospital, the researchers finally took the initiative to do a simple incinerator design. the incinerator to be used is updraft gasifier type. It is hoped that the use of this incinerator will be able to solve the existing medical waste problem. In this study, the researchers use experemental approach to get the basic data from the reactor. After gain the data, then the researcher use numerical approach which is using ansys softwere to get a better look of the temperature contour on the rector. From both study, researcher can conclude tha it would take an upgrade on the existing blower to incenerate the medical waste on a safely temperature.

Abstract

SMPN 43 Kota Bandar Lampung tidak luput dari penyelenggaraan pembelajaran secara daring akibat adanya pandemi Covid-19. Program pelatihan optimalisasi Google Apps ini diharapkan dapat mendukung proses belajar mengajar agar bisa berjalan efektif dan optimal. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengenalkan Google Apps (Forms, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Google Meet dan Google Classroom kepada para guru SMPN 43 Kota Bandar Lampung sehingga bisa proses belajar mengajar menjadi lebih optimal. Peserta pelatihan adalah 19 guru SMP Negeri 43 Bandar Lampung dengan berbagai background pendidikan. Pelatihan dilaksanakan secara daring melalui Google Meet. Survei dilakukan kepada peserta untuk mendapatkan kondisi sebelum dan setelah pelatihan. Evaluasi terhadap peserta dilakukan berdasarkan respon peserta terhadap pertanyaan dalam angket sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 100% guru merasa terbantu dengan adanya pelatihan ini. Tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 100% terlihat pada pengetahuan guru tentang Google Apps yang meliputi Google Form, Google Meet, Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Sheet, dan Google Slide bertambah setelah mengikuti pelatihan.

Abstract

Diketahui dari 22 Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (LKSA) Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah dan Aisyiyah di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, terdapat 12 lembaga yang belum menggunakan website dan 10 Lembaga yang sudah memiliki website akan tetapi ada beberapa website yang belum dimaksimalkan atau diaktifkan. Tentunya diperlukan pengenalan khususnya pemula agar tertarik untuk membuat website dan mengetahui optimasi penggunaan website dengan cara profesional bagi lembaga yang sudah memilki website. Tujuan pelatihan ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang media informasi berupa halaman web, gambaran membuat halaman web dan memanfaatkan halaman web. Kegiatan Program Pengabdian Umat (PRODAMAT) Mahasiswa dan Dosen Magister Informatika Universitas Ahmad Dahlan dilaksanakan dan ditujukan kepada 22 Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (LKSA) Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah dan Aisyiyah se Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan secara online melalui Via Zoom Meeting. Metode yang diberikan yaitu penyuluhan pengenalan tentang manfaat website, dasar-dasar pembuatan website dan cara mengoptimalkan website. Hasil yang dicapai dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan penggunaan website bagi LKSA Muhammadiyah dan Aisyiyah se-DIY menjadi 20 lembaga. Website yang diimplementasikan terdiri dari situs web profesional dan web blog, yang kemudian didukung dengan penggunaan social media di setiap lembaga untuk mempermudah pengunjung dalam menemukan informasi terkait dengan lembaga terkait.

Abstract

Today, in the industry 4.0 era, the boundaries of scientific disciplines are blurred, everything seems to be interrelated and shows the ability to be combined. Intelligent sensors combined with Artificial Intelligence (AI) have demonstrated their ability to influence processes, design, and maintenance in manufacturing systems. Mechanical engineering tasked with solving complex engineering problems must be able to adapt to this transformation, especially in the use of digital and IT to combine the principles of physics and engineering mathematics with materials science to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. On the other hand, mechanical engineering must also contribute to a better future life. Therefore, one of the keys to consistently playing a role is to think about sustainability, in order to provide benefits for society and industry, in any industrial era.
