<![CDATA[This research was motivated by a lack of student readiness to participate in learning activities from the exercises that had been carried out. Some students still have difficulty understanding concepts and finding connections between material. This study aims to determine the effect of WhatsApp-assisted recitation learning methods on student learning outcomes at SMA N 1 Bonjol. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were all class XI students at SMA N 1 Bonjol. Sampling in this study used the Cluster Random Sampling technique and obtained class XI IPS 2 as the control class and XI IPS 4 as the experimental class. The analysis technique in this research uses the t-test. The results of this study revealed that the experimental class score with an average of 85.94 was better than the control class of 81.62. The WhatsApp-assisted recitation learning method influences student learning outcomes in Geography in class XI at SMAN 1 Bonjol with a t value of 1.997 with a sig (2-tailed) of 0.004 <0.05. This means that there is an influence of the WhatsApp-assisted recitation learning method on geography learning outcomes in class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Bonjol where the average value of the experimental class is greater than the control class.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi kurangnya kesiapan siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran dari latihan yang telah dilakukan. Masih terdapat peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep dan menemukan keterkaitan antara materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran resitasi berbantuan whatsapp terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMA N 1 Bonjol. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif Kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Siswa kelas XI di SMA N 1 Bonjol. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling Cluster Random Sampling dan didapatkan kelas XI IPS 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPS 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan nilai kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata 85,94lebih baik dari pada kelas kontrol 81,62. Terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran resitasi berbantuan whatsapp terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi di kelas XI di SMAN 1 Bonjoldengan nilai t sebesar 1,997 dengan sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,004< 0,05. Artinya terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran resitasi berbantuan whatsapp terhadap hasil belajar geografi pada siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Bonjol dimana nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih besar dibandingkan kelas kontrol.]]>
