Abstract

The increasing demand and use of internet networks at PT. Satria Jaya Prima to access a website-based sales system, the more user demand for problems that occur on user devices such as unstable internet networks. Currently the use of internet network at PT. Satria Jaya Prima has not been efficient because there is no balanced bandwidth regulation, thus making the internet network capacity usage gap and making the internet network unstable. Based on these problems, research is needed that can be applied to overcome these problems, namely managing bandwidth using Mikrotik. In the network, a device is needed that can manage the existing internet network. This device is called Mikrotik RouterBoard. Routers that will be used in the internet network of PT. Satria Jaya Prima runs with Mikrotik OS for bandwidth and user management and manages the existing internet network according to the internet needs of internet network users. In this study, Mikrotik is configured using Winbox using the Simple Queue Peer Connection Queue (PCQ) method, with bandwidth management and users using the Mikrotik Router, the internet network connection will be smoother, because the existing bandwidth is allocated to each user based on the bandwidth needs needed by each internet network user

Abstract

Fire is the occurrence of unwanted and difficult to control fires. Fires are not only caused by human or technical factors and even cause many victims, fires are also catastrophic events that occur unexpectedly when they occur. In order to mitigate the catastrophes that develop in outer space, this research can design, build, and test systems that can communicate directly over the Internet using IoT technology that sends data via SMS and telephone. This research allows the manufacture and improvement of detectors that have previously been tried with different tools and different versions. This test determines the performance of fire and smoke detectors, carried out 10 times at a distance of is less than or equal to 35 cm. The detection system uses Arduino as the main component. a microcontroller that processes input data from two sensors, namely the smoke/gas sensor Mq-2 and the fire sensor Ky-026 as detectors for the two sensors. can be used as a fire alarm system, using the LCD screen as the output value, and the GSM SIM800L v1 module, used as an information service, automatically sends notifications as SMS to smartphones. Therefore, the higher the fire and smoke values tested, the more sensitive and the value increases. Therefore, this study concludes that the fire sensor Ky-026 and smoke sensor Mq-02 can detect distances up to is less than or equal to 35 cm. Data messages can be received within 7.2 seconds

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi di dunia jaringan komputer semakin cepat seiring dengan meningkatnya tuntutan akan koneksi yang efisien, stabil, dan aman. Salah satu faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas jaringan adalah keamanan jaringan atau network security. Terdapat berbagai teknik yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan tingkat keamanan, seperti membangun sistem firewall atau mengimplementasikan port security. Port security melibatkan penggunaan port-port yang ada untuk mengatur akses ke jaringan. Dalam lingkungan kerja PT Pinus Merah Abadi, seringkali terjadi masalah seperti koneksi yang lambat dan kelemahan dalam aspek keamanan jaringan. Untuk mengatasi ini, penulis akan melakukan simulasi penggunaan port-security pada setiap switch di PT Pinus Merah Abadi agar jaringan komputer menjadi lebih aman dan terhindar dari masalah-masalah tersebut
