Abstract

            The purpose of the writing is to know: 1) the essence of school accreditation, 2) the basic  implementation of school accreditation, 3) how far implementation of school accreditation. School accreditation do every fifth year, statutory of UU sisdiknas n0. 20 tahun 2003 BAB  XVI Bagian Kedua Pasal 60(1), the aims of accreditation to determine expedience program and unit of education in formail education and nonformal education at every step. Do accreditation based:1) Undang Undang No. 20 Tahun 2003 Pasal 60, 2) Peraturana Pemerintah No. 19 Tahun 2005 Pasal 86 & 87, dan 3). Surat Keputusan Mendiknas No. 87/U/2002. Aplication of accreditation oftentimes be “ghost” unearthly to school who unseriously in application of education. So, they are (teachers and founders institution) gave chapter and verse autentik through a short cut. There are paid someone to do procesing data, there are do automatic acting with overtime-work for days, and many data manipulation. Evaluation data, process teaching and learning, or infrastruktur and grease to assessor. So it is need solution for realize the aims of accreditation.Keywords: school accreditation, education

Abstract

This research is taken because the result of students test in 2010/2011 was 69,4 in avarage (the minimum target was 75) with classical completeness 60% of 85%. There fore it is needed to do a research to improve the will and result of student in their study. This kind of research is called class action research by using 2 cycle models in quantitatif methode. Based on the result of the research, it is found the result  of students will to study in the cycle I found 3,7 in average with positive criteria and in cycle II found 4,3 in avarage with a very positive criteria. While the result of student study in the cycle I got 73,60 in avarage result with 88% classical completeness and in cycle II got 87,48 in avarage result with 96% classical completeness. From the cycle I and II data above, it can be conclueded that the three results are getting improved effisiently, they are the students will to study improve 13,95%, and the result of students study 15,87%, and the completeness of student study result 8,3%. By those result it is shown that the student are very interested to study with cooperative learning model type STAD by using puzzle media. Keywords : Learning of sains, type STAD with Puzzle Media

Abstract

         Education is a conscious and deliberate effort to create an atmosphere of learning and the learning process so that learners are actively developing the potential for him to have the spiritual strength of religious, self-control, personality, intelligence, good values, and skill that need him, society, nation and state ( Ministry of Education, 2003: 6). The formulation of this problem are: 1) Is the Jigsaw model can improve the learning activity of students in class VII student studying biology junior year Alhidayah Karangduren Lessons Balung 2011/2012?. 2) Is the Jigsaw model of learning can improve learning outcomes completeness biology class VII SMP Alhidayah karangduren Balung Academic Year 2011/2012?. This study aims to: 1) Assess the effectiveness of Jigsaw model of learning in improving student learning outcomes completeness class VII SMP Al-Hidayah Karangduren Lessons Balung year 2011/2012. 2) Assess the effectiveness of instructional models up grade Jigsaw in class VII student learning activities SMP Al-Hidayah Karangduren Lessons Balung year 2011/2012. By using the Jigsaw cooperative learning model, showed high learning outcomes, can be seen from the results of your analysis test on the subject of the previous gain (62.85%) compared to the type of cooperative learning jigsaw, the first to reach the cycle (71, 42%). Abstract

Indonesian people are not only familiar with terasi, but also enjoy its made products. Terasi is the product of processing fish or shrimp by giving salt & fermentation in the form of solid paste with a unique smell and taste. In Jember, it can be made of rebon shrimp (Mysis), citrus shrimp (Metapenaeus ensis), and reket shrimp (Atya sp.) with the general traditional methods. Terasi actually has a good nutrient, but it gives bad effects on the structure and function of liver. It’s proven by the result of the research on mouse (Mus musculus) Galur Balb-c with the treatment of giving two kinds of terasi.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes on the subject of human motion system by applying learning Teams Games Tournament (TGT) using the Kokami media. Researchers conducted observations in class VIII MTs Nurul Yaqin Sukorambi and approximately 45% of the data obtained show student score ≥ 70 in precycle. The study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four phase: planning, action, observation and research reflection. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR). Based on the results obtained, the percentage of student learning outcomes by 75% the first cycle and the second cycle by 85%. The results of the daily test scores of students in the first cycle values ​​obtained 78,85 and 86,65 second cycle values ​​obtained. It proves that the Application of Learning Teams Games Tournament using Kokami can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Teams Games Tournament (TGT), Kokami, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Pandemi Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) menyebabkan proses pembelajaran tatap  muka di sekolah dialihkan menjadi proses pembelajaran secara daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi guru IPA SMP/MTs yang ada di kabupaten Jember terhadap praktikum IPA selama pandemi COVID-19. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menyebar angket berupa google form melalui media WhatsApp (WA) kepada 24 guru IPA SMP/MTs yang tersebar di kabupaten Jember dengan metode cluster sampling mulai bulan April sampai Mei tahun 2020. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan mocrosoft excel 2007. Hasil survey menunjukkan bahwa 29% guru menyatakan siap melaksanakan praktikum secara daring, 38% menyatakan kurang siap dan 33% menyatakan tidak siap melaksanakan praktikum secara daring. Tingkat kesiapan tersebut berpengaruh terhadap keterlaksanaan kegiatan praktikum. Hasil survey menunjukkan bahwa guru yang menyatakan praktikum secara dapat terlaksana sebesar 33 %, selebihnya 67% menyatakan praktikum secara daring tidak dapat dilaksanakan. Fenomena tersebut terjadi karena terdapat kendala-kendala baik kendala yang berasal dari guru sendiri ataupun kendala yang berasal dari siswa dan orangtua siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa yaitu dengan menerapkan media E-book berekstensi epub didalam smartphone sebagai media belajar yang bersifat inovatif sebagai upaya memanfaatkan kegemaran siswa menggunakan smartphone agar tetap belajar. Tujuan penelitian jangka panjang diharapkan dapat mengurangi beban pendidik dalam menyajikan informasi dalam pembelajaran karena diwakili dengan adanya e-book, dapat mengefektifkan dan mengefisienkan waktu pembelajaran karena tidak harus membawa banyak buku bacaan dalam bentuk fisiknya yang berat, dan dapat membantu memudahkan siswa belajar karena fitur multimedia dapat menjadi tutor. Penelitian penerapan media e-book berekstensi epub untuk meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa smp pada mata pelajaran ipa termasuk kedalam jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Analisa data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa data kuantitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil angket respon siswa dan tes kognitif siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa implementasi E-book berekstensi.epub dapat meningkatkan minat belajar sangat baik sebesar 88,61% dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan kriteria tinggi berupa gain score sebesar 0,703 pada pembelajaran IPA SMP.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims at (1) producing the science instructional materials for SMP based on salingtemas and guided inquiry to build the integrated understanding; (2) discovering the validity and reliability levels of the instructional materials, namely Syllabus, Lesson Plans (RPP), Assessment Instruments, and Students’ Worksheet (LKPD). This research used development research design 4D model suggested by Thiagarajan and limited only to the development level. The developed instructional materials are validated by the expert of instructional materials, the expert in the subject, the science teacher, then, the learning device tested on eight graders of SMPN 2 Jember to discover the readability of LKPD. The validation test result from all validators showed that the science instructional materials based on the salingtemas and guided inquiry have categorized as valid. The readability evaluative result showed that the LKPD can be used in learning process, and the totality the science instructional materials based on salingtemas and guided inquiry effectively used on learning process.Key Words: instructional materials, integrated understanding, salingtemas, guided inquiryAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA di SMP berbasis salingtemas dan inkuiri terbimbing untuk membentuk pemahaman terintegrasi dan mengetahui tingkat validitas dan kelayakan produk perangkat pembelajaran yang berupa silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), instrumen penilaian, dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian pengembangan model 4D dari Thiagarajan, yang dibatasi hanya sampai pada tahap develop. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh ahli perangkat pembelajaran, ahli materi dan guru IPA, kemudian diujicobakan pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 2 Jember untuk mengetahui aspek keterbacaan LKPD. Hasil validasi dari seluruh validator menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis salingtemas dan inkuiri terbimbing memiliki kategori layak/valid. Hasil penilaian keterbacaan menunjukkan bahwa LKPD dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis salingtemas dan inkuiri terbimbing efektif dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata kunci: perangkat pembelajaran, pemahaman terintegrasi, salingtemas, inkuiri terbimbing

Abstract

The research aims to produce the integrated instructional kitfor natural science based on guided inquiryand sets learning approachesin order to be able to increase science psychomotor process andstudents’cognitive learning result. This research uses 4D model development research design from Thiagarajan, that is limited only to the ‘develop’ level. The instructional kitdeveloped are validated by the expert in the instructional kit, the expert in the subject, the science teacher, and then practically tested to the students of class VIII of SMPN 2 Jember at 2013/2014. The validation test results from all validators show that theintegrated instructional kitfor natural science based on guided inquiry and sets learning approacheshas categorized sufficiently valid. The practical test results show that the integrated instructional kit for natural science based on guided inquiryand sets is effectively used on learning process because it is able to increase the science psychomotor process and students’cognitive learning result.Keywords: developing instructional kit, guided inquiry and sets learning approaches, science psychomotor process, students’ cognitive learning result.
