Abstract

ABSTRAKDesa Cibuntu merupakan salah satu Desa Wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Kuningan dan menjadi prioritas jangka panjang pembangun Provinsi Jawa Barat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali potensi wisata di Desa Wisata Cibuntu serta membantu dalam upaya peningkatan pemberdayaan masyarakat sehingga masyarakat akan merasakan dampak positif dengan adanya pengembangan Desa Wisata tersebut. Dampak yang diharapkan dari pemberdayaan tersebut tidak hanya berdampak secara ekonomi namum juga secara sosial dan budaya. Dengan demikian pembangunan bariwisata yang berorientasi pada masyarakat tersebut akan menjadikan pariwisata yang berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi kegiatan wawancara, observasi dan kajian literatur yang kemudian dapat ditindaklanjuti dengan kegiatan Fokus Grup Diskusi. Kegiatan penelitian akan melibatkan pemerintah, swasta (industri), asosiasi, masyarakat (petani, seniman/budayawan, pengelola desa, pemilik homestay serta kelompok penggerak pariwisata) serta pihak-pihak lain yang memiliki keterkaitan erat dalam pengembangan Desa Wisata Tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan desa wisata di Cibuntu belum dapat dikatakan optimal dengan belum terbangunnya sinergitas antara masyarakat dan pemerintah. Dengan demikian pola pemberdayaan berkelanjutan di Desa Cibuntu masih memerlukan dorongan yang kuat. Kata Kunci: Desa Wisata Cibuntu, Pariwisata Berkelanjutan,  Pemberdayaan Masyarakat  COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT IN CIBUNTU TOURISM VILLAGE KUNINGAN DISTRICT WEST JAVA PROVINCE  ABSTRACTCibuntu Village is one of the Tourism Villages in Kuningan Regency and is a priority for long term goals of West Java province.The purpose of this research is to explore tourism potential in Cibuntu Tourism Village and help in efforts to increase community empowerment so that the community will feel a positive impact with the development of the Tourism Village. The expected impact of empowerment does not only affect economically but also socially and culturally. Thus the development of community-oriented tourism will make sustainable tourism.The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques including interviews, observation and literature review which can then be followed up with the Focus Group Discussion activity. Research activities will involve the government, private (industry), associations, communities (farmers, artists/ cultural observers, village managers, homestay owners and tourism activists) as well as other parties that have close links in the development of the Tourism Village. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the development of tourist villages in Cibuntu cannot be said to be optimal with the lack of synergy between the community and the government. Thus the pattern of sustainable empowerment in Cibuntu Village still requires strong encouragement. Keywords: Cibuntu Tourism Village, Sustainable Torusim, Community Empowerment.

Abstract

Dago Tea House is a cultural tourism based or commonly called cultural tourism that offers a variety of unique arts and cultures. This Study aims to identified and analyzed the existing tourist attraction in Dago Tea House from the internal aspects (strengths and weaknesses) of external aspects (opportunities and threats) and then formulate the direction of optimize of tourist attraction in a proper planning and strategy for Dago Tea House in how to be an alternative of culture tourism in Bandung city. The research method used is qualitative descriptive which is assisted by using Analysis SWOT. From the research and analysis in terms of general conditions and the attraction, amenity, accessibility and ancillary of Dago Tea House and got a score 2.74 in IFAS Matrix and 2.57 in the EFAS matrix. The result of rating analysis and weighting of internal and external aspect shows that Dago Tea House is in Quadrant 1 supporting the aggressive strategy which can be concluded include optimizing of tourist attraction and promotion.

Abstract

Community empowerment is the effort to create and improve the capacity of the community both individually and groups in solving various problems related to efforts for improve the quality of life, independence and prosperity. Community empowerment can be done through the various ways and one of them through the growth and development. This research was conducted in Wisata Edukasi Imah Noong, Kampung Areng Desa Wangunsari Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat. The method of this research is descriptive research method with qualitative approach. Data collection method used is field observation, interview and documentation. Primary data source obtained from purposive sampling. Then from the results of this research be obtained a conclusion of action or activities of the community in the implementation of the concept of community empowerment approach through development of tourism, namely strengthening the capacity and role of society, strengthening access and business opportunities, and strengthening of tourism awareness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengembangan kuliner sebagai wisata gastronomi. kuliner di beberapa tempat di Indonesia telah menjadi salah satu daya tarik wisata. Begitu juga di Palembang, Ibu Kota Sumatera Selatan memiliki potensi kuliner yang dapat dikembangkan, salah satunya adalah Pempek. Pempek selain sudah menjadi ciri khas kuliner Palembang, juga memiliki nilai budaya, sejarah dan edukasi bagi masyarakat Palembang. Bumbu dan cara memasak yang disampaikan secara turun temurun menjadi keunikan tersendiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sementara teknik pengolahan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kuliner Pempek tak hanya menjadi potensi wisata kuliner namun dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut menjadi wisata gastronomi. Melalui pengembangan wisata gastronomi, pengenalan Pempek tak hanya sekedar bagian yang dicicipi oleh wisatawan namun pengenalan lebih jauh mengenai Pempek dapat dilakukan secara integrasi yang melibatkan masyarakat sehingga akan memberikan nilai ekonomi, kolektif, kesehatan dan budaya.Kata Kunci: Pempek, Wisata Gastronomi, Palembang.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada dasarnya pengembangan pariwisata tidak terlepas dari peran masyarakat di sekitarnya. Dukungan dan peran serta masyarakat sangat diperlukan untuk sebuah pengembangan suatu kawasan wisata dan daya tarik wisata. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kawasan wisata Desa Kertawangi, Cisarua Kabupaten bandung Barat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengembangan kawasan wisata di Desa Kertawangi dan persepsi masyarakat terhadap pengembangan suatu kawasan wisata. Berdasarkan hal tersebut,  kawasan wisata yang menawarkan daya tarik wisata tentu membutuhkan aspek-aspek dalam pengembangannya. Aspek-aspek tersebut adalah dengan pengembangan aktivitas dan daya tarik wistanya, trasportasi, akomodasi, elemen kelembagaan, insfrastuktur, dan pelayanan fasilitas wisata. Selain pengembangan, kemajuan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat menjadi penentu sebuah persepsi baik dari masyarakat. Peneliti menggunakan metode kombinasi melalui metode kualitatif sebagai metode primer dan metode kuantitatif sebagai metode sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kawasan wisata di Desa Kertawangi sudah berjalan dengan baik, hal tersebut dilihat dari berbagai aspek yang telah dikaji melalui observasi dan wawancara. Persepsi masyarakat mengenai kawasan wisata yang ada di sekitar daerah tempat tinggal mereka juga sudah baik, dilihat dari adanya peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat dan peluang usaha bagi masyarakat serta menambah lapangan pekerjaan namun belum signifikan. Kata Kunci   : Pengembangan, Kawasan Wisata, Persepsi Masyarakat  COMMUNITY PERCEPTION TOWARDS TOURISM DEVELOPMENT AREA IN KERTAWANGI VILLAGE, CISARUA. WEST BANDUNG DISTRICT ABSTRACTBasically tourism development is inseparable from the role of the local community. The community support and participation are needed for the development of a tourist area and tourist attraction. This research was conducted in the tourist area of Kertawangi Village, Cisarua, West Bandung Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of tourist areas in Kertawangi Village and community perceptions of the development of a tourist area. That development, tourist areas that offer tourist attraction certainly need aspects in its development. These aspects are by developing activities and attractiveness of time, transportation, accommodation, institutional elements, infrastructure, and tourism facilities. In addition to development, progress and welfare of the community is a determinant of a good perception of the community. The researcher used a mix method through qualitative methods as primary methods and quantitative methods as secondary methods. The results of the study show that the development of tourist areas in Kertawangi Village has been going well, it is seen from various aspects that have been studied through observation and interviews. Community perceptions of tourist areas around their area of residence have also been good, seen from the increasing the community income and business opportunities for the community and increasing employment opportunities.       Keywords: Development, Tourism Area, Community Perception

Abstract

Lamajang Village, Bandung Regency has 5.5 ha of agricultural land and Animal Husbandry which is managed directly by the community. These farms include fruits, vegetables, medicinal plants, others, having sheep, chicken, fish and pigeon farms. This research was conducted to find out what agrotourism activities could be carried out, to what extent agrotourism had been developed, and to know the role of the community in agrotourism activities. The research method used is a qualitative research method. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation studies, primary data sources were obtained from people who work in agriculture and secondary data sources were directly collected by researchers as support from the first source. The results showed that the Oldjang Village agrotourism has a fairly good agricultural potential. However, there is no mapping, understanding of the concept of agrotourism and the absence of facilities that support Agro-tourism Development in Lamajang Village.

Abstract

Tourism in Indonesia is a new field of science in the academic field. After the official recognition of tourism as a science in 2008, there was a significant development of tourism education in Indonesia at both the high school and university levels. However, in its implementation there are still some obstacles in the implementation of this education, both in terms of human resources (HR), teaching facilities, curriculum, as well as the absorption of graduates in related fields as well as synchronization with industry. The methodology used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data processing is based on literature and document studies regarding the development of tourism education nationally and globally. Other data collection was also carried out through interviews with tourism education providers. The results showed that solving the existing problems required efforts and commitment from across sectors such as government, industry, academia, and society. Thus the current road map for tourism education is not only seen as a science but can also make a real contribution, namely improving the welfare of the community. Abstract

The existence of a negative stigma in society’s view for persons with disabilities makes them unable to show their optimal self-existence even though they competently have them. Not all industries or government agencies have implemented the rules whereby the agencies they manage should implement rules for employing persons with disabilities (the proportion is private sector 1 %, and government agencies 2%) referring to the rules mandated in Law no. 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities. According to the perspective of Human Resources management, this is a challenge how the existence of persons with disabilities can get space without discrimination from all parties. The resultsof research showed that the inoptimal placement of human resources with disabilities occurred due to several factors, both from the person and the employer. The involvement of stakeholders has an important role in solving problems from associations, universities, communities and the government.
