Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis resistensi perempuan tandhak Madura melalui pengalaman komunikasi di tengah relasi kuasa yang terjadi atas nama tubuhnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif denagn pendekatan Etnografi Feminis. Selain itu, teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian terhadap pengalaman komunikasi perempuan tandhak Madura di tengah relasi kuasa yang terjadi atas nama tubuhnya menunjukkan adanya resistensi yang dilakukan oleh perempuan tandhak Madura baik di lingkungan privat maupun publik. Resistensi yang dilakukan dalam bentuk umpatan dalam hati yang tidak ditunjukkan atau diketahui orang lain, penolakan yang ditunjukkan melalui tingkah laku yang kurang baik, tangisan yang tidak ditunjukkan kepada orang lain. Namun resistensi juga ada yang dilakukan dengan cara mengikuti perbuatan yang diinginkan pemilik kuasa tersebut. Hal ini bukan menunjukan kepatuhan dan tidak berdaya namun merupakan stategi agar tetap survive.

Abstract

The life cycle of Madurese women is full of local wisdom, which can be the basis of the improvement of their economic welfare if it is well developed. Yet, the Madurese women are not aware of this potential. Hence, the objective of this research is to design a local wisdom based strategy to empower the economy of Madurese women. The communication strategy is in the form of a model which is validated by Madurese women. From the implementation of the model, then, the Madurese women entrepreneur which is based on local wisdom is formedThis research which was conducted in Sampang regency applied descriptive qualitative analysis. This research employed some methods, specifically (1) documentation analysis of the result of the first research to design the strategy of madurese women empowerment, (2) FGD, (3) action research to validate the strategy, (4) observation, and (5) deep interview to accomplish the model of Madurese women empowerment strategyFrom the data analysis the communication strategy is then designed as follows: (1) the communicator is the successful businesman, TKB, and the entrepreneur,' (2) the message is the entrepreneurship training with direct practice as well as the training of how to create creative industrial product which matches the local potential; (3) the media is props and slide; (4) the communicant is the member of kopwan. The communication strategy done by the components of the communication above is as follow.. the communicator visits the communicants and does an informal approach to give an entrepreneur training in the field of industrial creativity which is based on the local potential. The feedback may be gained directly and the face-to-face meeting is carried out as informal as possible without classical format. Then, the products as the result of their works are marketed directly to the Sara, i.e. by visiting crowded places like traditional market or by conducting "grebeg pasar7 The communication techniques in this communication strategy of the economic empowerment of madurese women is persuasive technique, informative technique, and human relation technique.Keywords: communication strategy, local wisdom, women empowerment, Madurese women entrepreneur

Abstract

The purpose of this paper Is to introduce the readers in understanding the steps of ethnograpy use in social research method. This paper was presented about what is ethnograpy, ethnograpy development and debates in practice research,ethnography as a methode and methodological, as well as the steps in conducting ethnography research. The debate over postmodern critique of ethnograpy and also various kinds of ethnography are described in this paper.

Abstract

Penggangguran adalah masalah yang  serius di negara kita. Pada 2008 pengangguran tercatat 23,80%. Angka itu naik 26,74% pada 2009. Pulau Madura , khususnya Kabupaten Bangkalan dan Sampang mempunyai problem yang sama. Menurut data yang dilansir BAPPENAS, Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT) Usia Muda di Indonesia mencapai 19,9% atau berada dalam posisi teratas untuk kawasan Asia Pasifik. Fenomena tingginya pengangguran di usia produktif ini  tentunya menjadi persoalan sosial tersendiri di masyarakat.  Di sisi lain  dewasa ini keberadaan karang taruna sebagai organisasi kepemudaan yang sebenarnya berfungsi membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan pengangguran khususnya di kalangan usia muda (produktif) masih cenderung mandul. Atas dasar itulah maka penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan solusi mengatasi pengangguran di kalangan usia muda melalui pemberdayaan karang taruna.  Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian kualitatif dengan instrumen wawancara mendalam (depth interview) terhadap responden terpilih untuk mendapatkan data yang diperlukan. Setelah data terkumpul dilakukan analisis melalui proses kerja analisis yang  terdiri dari tiga alur kegiatan, yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya penataan manajemen organisasi sebagai langkah nyata untuk menjawab tantangan persoalan organisasi karang taruna selain perlunya menumbuhkan dan mengembangkan kader profesional karang taruna.

Abstract

Ajhemo is an everyday term that means drinking herbal medicine for the Madurese people. For Madura women, ajhemo is a habit as an effort to maintain health, fitness and household harmony for those who have a family. Ajhemo habits    are carried out by Madura women since adolescence, as a consequence of the biological process of women when they first menstruate. Ajhemo habit for Madurese women continues when women experience phases of life as women, such as getting married, giving birth, after giving birth. In addition to health factors, ajhemo habits are also one way to meet the needs and demands of husbands in spousal relationships. Madurese women's habits are related to cultural factors that are inherent early on, so this causes most Madurese women to consume traditional herbs related to sexual and reproductive organs. Until now ajhemo becomes a healthy way of life that Madurese women continue to do as a body art that includes cleanliness, beauty and health. Ajhemo for women becomes a healthy way of life that lasts for generations. Bagi perempuan Madura, ajhemo adalah kebiasaan sebagai upaya menjaga kesehatan, kebugaran dan keharmonisan rumah tangga bagi yang sudah berkeluarga. Kebiasaan ajhemo dilakukan perempuan Madura sejak masa remaja, sebagai konsekuensi dari proses biologis perempuan saat pertama kali mengalami menstruasi. Kebiasaan ajhemo bagi perempuan Madura ini dilanjut saat perempuan mengalami fase-fase kehidupan sebagai perempuan, seperti akan menikah, melahirkan, setelah melahirkan. Selain karena faktor kesehatan, kebiasaan ajhemo juga merupakan salah satu cara dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dan tuntutan suami dalam relasi suami istri. Kebiasaan perempuan Madura ini berkaitan dengan faktor budaya yang melekat sejak dini, sehingga hal ini menyebabkan sebagian besar perempuan Madura mengonsumsi ramuan tradisional yang berhubungan dengan organ seksual dan reproduksi. Hingga sekarang ajhemo menjadi cara hidup sehat yang terus dilakukan perempuan Madura sebagai seni olah tubuh yang mencakup kebersihan, keindahan dan kesehatan. Ajhemo bagi perempuan manjadi cara hidup sehat yang berlangsung turun temurun. Ajhemo menjadi keperluan harian yang dipercaya dapat meningkatkan kebugaran membangkitkan gairah seksual dan estetika. Kata Kunci:ajhemo, kesehatan, perempuan Madura

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah mempengaruhi dunia dengan cara yang berbeda. Virus Covid 19 juga telah mempengaruhi gaya hidup masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui trend wisata terkini, pasca pandemic covid 19. Penelitian menggunakan studi literatur dengan menggunakan sumber-sumber terkait tema penelitian bidang pariwisata..  Di sektor penelitian,ada perubahan signifikan, dan penelitian baru datang dengan sangat kuat di berbagai bidang bisnis dan ekosistem jasa, termasuk sector pariwisata. Riset terkait tema penelitian khususnya tema pariwisata menjadi menarik untuk dikaji lebih jauh.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tema riset pasca pandemic yang dapat dilakukan yaitu layanan halal pasca pandemic, inovasi pemasaran dan jasa,dan juga penggunaan teknologi dalam industry Meskipun peta jalan penelitian global Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) telah mengidentifikasi sosial penelitian terkait sains sebagai bidang prioritas, ke depan untuk tema penelitian lintas disiplin terkait kesehatan, maupun bidang lain menjadi sangat menarik, seperti riset terkait isu halal pasca pandemic covid 19, inovasi pemasaran dan jasa, industry pariwisata dan tema riset lainnya.  Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa teknologi adalah solusi untuk bisnis pariwisata pasca pandemi

Abstract

Mindful tourists are able to appreciate and understand heritage sites better than those who are mindless. Mindfulness is a concept that helps tourists build interpretations that will improve the quality of the experience and create a sustainable relationship between tourists and heritage sites. Mindful travellers are those who are actively engaged with interpretations of heritage sites that result in greater learning and understanding. In contrast, a mindless individual is one who follows a routine, pays limited attention to what he does and is stuck in a rigid mindset. Thus, this study aims to identify, build and validate measures of mindfulness in the context of cultural heritage tourism. This research uses quantitative research methods and is carried out in the Madura region which has cultural heritage tourism potential. The question items used to measure mindfulness were developed based on an extensive review of past literature. The data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 150 local Madurese and non-Madurese tourists.. The results revealed from this study show four different factors in measuring mindfulness, namely curiosity and attention, alertness, emotional involvement and openness and flexibility. The findings derived from this study offer new insights in understanding the concept of mindfulness

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has stopped the activities of the global tourism industry. This condition is further exacerbated by the atmosphere of uncertainty and the lack of effective vaccination. This resulted in people starting to try various drugs to boost their immunity, turning to traditional medical practices and alternative medicine. The use of spices in food and herbal medicine is known as one of Madura's tourism potential. This research aims to determine the tourism marketing communication strategy for Madurese spice products. This paper presents a niche tourism sector that emphasizes the potential of spice tourism. The research aims to determine strategies for promoting spice-based tourism and for developing Madura tourism. The research used a qualitative descriptive method with informants from spice-based tourism businesses in Madura. The research results show that the use of tourism marketing communication strategies in Madura uses a 7P marketing mix perspective, namely product, price, place, promotion, people, process, physical evidence.
