Abstract

Poverty is inability to  minimum standards basic needs which includes some food and non food. Proverty in East Java is one of social problems are more attention from the government of east java. This research aims to analyze the factors affect poverty level of East Java. Variabel is used includes economic growth, population growth and inflation. This research using secondary data obtained from the central bureau of statistics in East Java. Secondary data used in this research in the form of time series the period 2004- 2014. This research uses the method of analysis linear regression multiple with program assistance spss 21. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained the following conclusions: variable of economic growth and a significant negative effect on poverty levels in East Java because the result is smaller than the significance level of significance (α = 0.05) in the amount of population and inflation 0,010.Pertumbuhan no effect a significant changed in poverty in East Java as the result of greater significance than the level of significance (α = 0.05) in. While for R2 obtained yield was 0.678 or 67.8 %, this means that the poverty rate in East Java explained by the three independent variables for 67.8 % and 32.2 partially explained by other factors beyond the study models .Key words: The level of poverty in East Java, Economic Growth, Population Growth and Inflation.

Abstract

ABSTRACTEconomic development is essentially a series of businesses and policies aimed at improving people's lives, expanding employment opportunities, and directing equitable distribution of income. Sectors that are expected to be leading sector one of them is the manufacturing sector. Industrialization is the most appropriate strategy to accelerate the process of economic growth. Therefore, to carry out the process of industrialization requires an interaction between technological development, innovation, specialization in production and inter-state trade which ultimately in line with the increase in per capita income that encourages changes in economic structure. This study aims to prove and analyze the influence of the number of business units, production values, investment value and UMP towards the absorption of labor in large industries of East Java province. The data used or used in this study is secondary data in the form of time series data from 2009 to 2015. The variables used in this study are the number of business units, production values, investment value and UMP in East Java Province. The data are secondary data sourced from BPS of East Java Province. In this study also use multiple regression analysis method by using software SPSS 16.0. Based on the calculation of SPSS 17 shows that the value of Adjusted R2 is 0.994. This shows that the value of R2 of 0.994 means that the variable of business unit, production value, investment value and minimum wage has a role of 99.4% to the variable of labor absorption while the rest of 0.006 or 0.6% is influenced by other variables outside the model. Variable number of business unit (X1) have relationship have positive and not significant effect to labor absorption, variable of production value (X2) have relationship have positive and significant effect to labor absorption, investment value variable (X3) have relationship have negative and significant effect to absorption labor, and UMP variable (X4) have relationship have negative and not significant effect on labor absorption. Together the variables of business unit, production value, investment value and UMP significantly influence the absorption of large industrial workforce in East Java. Keywords: Absorption of manpower, large industry, number of business units, production value, investment value and East Java UMP.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  The role of the batik industry in particular can support national development. Labor absorption effort is inseparable from the factors – factors that affected it, such as the level of wages, production and capital issued. This study examined the influence of the level of wages, production, capital against labour absorption in the batik industry in Bangkalan Regency Tanjung Earth. With the intention of wanting to know if there was any influence between the level of wages, production, capital against labour absorption in the batik industry in Bangkalan Regency Tanjung of the Earth, in the hope it can be used as a basis in determining the policy in addressing the problem of employment in Bangkalan Regency. The data used in this research is the primary and secondary data are obtained from the results of a questionnaire that was distributed to the relevant parties as well as the Central Bureau of statistics (BPS) Bangkalan Regency Bangkalan Regency in numbers or 2017. Methods of analysis used in this study is a method of multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS. The results of this research show that there are influences the level of wages, production, capital against labour absorption in the batik industry in Bangkalan Regency Tanjung Earth with the results showing that F F > tables to calculate and t > t table calculate and from the results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination of 0.937 obtained that the variable wage rate, production, capital together – the same can explain the variable absorption of labor amounted to 93.7%. Keyword: wage rate, production, capital, labour absorption in the batik industry in Bangkalan Regency Tanjung Earth
