Abstract

The ethnoscience approach encourages teachers and educational practitioners to teach science based on culture, local wisdom and problems that exist in society, so that students can understand and apply the science they learn in the classroom to solve problems they encounter in everyday life. day. Learning based on local wisdom and culture will awaken an attitude of love for national culture, because ethnoscience learning can introduce the potential of the local area. Tri Kon's Integrated Ethnoscience Approach in Improving the Critical Thinking Ability of Elementary School Students, that is, students are able to get to know the surrounding environment and its culture more closely, because cultivating regional culture is the duty and responsibility of all citizens, the introduction of local wisdom and culture is integrated in science learning for students as a whole. indirectly instilling artistic values, historical values, a sense of empathy for the surrounding environment, as well as mutual respect for local culture. The knowledge, attitudes and skills obtained can become valuable experience and become provisions for developing oneself, the environment and the country in accordance with the noble values ​​of national culture, and can form students' strong personality traits.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model on increasing the creativity of class VI elementary school students. The research method used is good practice with a comparison method between pretest and posttest data. The research results showed that 35% of students (7 students) had creativity skills below the criteria before the PjBL model was implemented. Data after implementing the PjBL model showed an increase, namely 85% (17 students) obtained skill scores above the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). From the results of the analysis and discussion it can be concluded as follows: Increasing student creativity through the Project Based Learning learning model for class VI elementary school students on batik technique material using the ecoprint method with classical completion. The batik learning results show increase.
