Abstract

Most of surface run off in rainy season in west Bangkinang city flow to Petai I river, so that Petai I river unable to deliver it anymore to Kampar river, it will be flood in some region in Bangkinang city. According a concept has been developed to this condition that devides into two parts Jendral Ahmad Yani street, for the east region flow, will be directed to Petai I river and the west region will be directed to Polsek Bangkinang channel. The aim of this study is to planned drainage system and the capacity of the channel to drain surface runoff so that to overcome the happening flood and to reduces the load flow of the Petai I river. Rainfall station data of Pasar Kampar for 15 years used to determine rainfall plan by using 10 times years period and obtained rainfall plans (R24) of 136.11 mm. From the chatchment area map and rainfall plan data the area debit calculated to get dimensions of channel plan. The finding showed that the capacity of the existing channel with dimensions of 0.45 m - 3.00 m is unable to accommodate debit that occurs of 0.06 m3/sec - 3.96 m3/sec so that a new drainage system with dimensions of 0.44 m - 2.61 m which can accommodate debit of 0.06 m3/sec - 6.72 m3/sec must be planed.  Key words: Flood, rain fall, drainage system, dimension channel

Abstract

Land use change in Merbau and Ukui Watershed (DAS) as an effort to fulfill the need of land for settlement and other supporting infrastructure in Pekanbaru city will increase the potential oferosion and sedimentation in the watershed. This impact will have a major impact on the functional life of lake khayangan. Geographic information system is used to assist data analysis of land use,length and slope of land and vegetation distribution. The results of the analysis show the total erosion potential of the Merbau River Basin, the Ukui River Basin and the Direct Stream is 364,610tons / year and the total of sediments entering Lake Kayangan is 459,474 tons / year, with the elevation of siltation that occurs on Lake Kayangan is 0 , 22 mm / year.Keywords: land use change, erosion and sedimentation potential, siltation.

Abstract

Analysis of irrigation water requirements by using a manual analysis model will make calculations longer, repetitive simulations and calculations will require high accuracy and require a relatively long time. We need the fastmodel, the fastmodel is a numerical model where repetitive calculations and repetitive simulations will be faster. What is the numerical model for calculating the needs of irrigation water with a variety of patterns and optimal planting time that is valid in solving the problem of need for comprehensive irrigation water. Result of rain data calculation was validated with several tests, by testing Outlier Test, Calculation of Effective Rainfall, Calculation of Evapotranspiration, and water requirements. It was found that numerical model for calculating the needs of irrigation water with validation and obtained results that were not much different. Optimal irrigation water requirements which use a small amount of channel water.Keywords : analysis of irrigation water needs, numerical models, calculation validation
