Abstract

Learning tools are one important aspect to determine the success of a learning design. Student worksheet is one of the learning tools. The purpose of this study is as follows. 1) to find out how to develop a mathematics learning worksheet in the form of comics based on guided discovery on linear program material, 2) to find out the validity and practicality of a mathematics learning worksheet in the form of comics based on guided discovery on linear program material. In this research the method used is the development method. So the research explained that what was developed was a comic-based worksheet based on guided findings on linear program metrics. The subjects in this study were students of class XI Vocational School Wisnuwardhana Malang. Based on the LKS development research results that have been obtained that the validity results assessed by three validator experts are 1) material expert validator, 2) media expert validator, and 3) linguist validator reaches a percentage of 72.20%. In this criterion, the worksheets that were developed were good (valid) and the results of practicality were obtained from the student questionnaire responses and obtained an average value of 3.3 which in this criterion was declared good (practical). From the development of LKS in the form of comics based on guided discoveries on linear program material, it was concluded that the development of LKS is valid and practical so that it is suitable to be used in mathematics learning.

Abstract

AbstrakPemahaman matematika sangat diperlukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Siswa dituntut untuk memahami konsep matematika agar dapat menyelesaikan masalah matematika dengan benar. Namun, pemahaman konsep yang dimiliki antar siswa berbeda-beda. Perbedaan ini muncul disebabkan adanya kesalahan siswa dalam memahami konsep matematika. Selain itu, kesalahan siswa terjadi karena adanya skema yang belum dimunculkan dalam menyelesaikan soal  matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan siswa terhadap pemahaman konsep operasi hitung pada pecahan. Penelitian termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa yaitu berupa kesalahan pemahaman konsep operasi hitung pecahan. Oleh karena itu peran guru dalam memfasilitasi siswa dalam memahami konsep matematika mutlak diperlukan.Kata Kunci: analisis kesalahan, operasi hitung, pecahan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pembelajaran literasi dan numerasi berbasis pola hidup sehat. Pola hidup sehat yang dilaksanakan pada kegiatan ini terintegrasi dengan pembelajaran. Misalnya pada kegiatan penelitian ini dilaksanakan di akhir pembelajaran yaitu minum susu dan dan  menggosok gigi. Pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan pada kegiatan ini adalah secara luring terbatas dengan desain outdoor learning. Outdoor learning yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di luar kelas secara terbuka dan lingkungan yang mendukung pembelajaran. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi, tes dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar yang berada di kelas IV. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa merasa antusias dan senang dengan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di luar kelas. Pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan media kue untuk membentuk huruf dan menghitung banyak kue yang dibutuhkan untuk membentuk huruf tersebut. Siswa juga melakukan penjumlahan bilangan dengan bantuan jari. Terdapat siswa yang sudah lancar dalam membentuk huruf dan menghitung hasil penjumlahan. Namun juga terdapat siswa yang masih kesulitan dalam menghitung dan menuliskan bilangan yang merupakan hasil operasi penjumlahan

Abstract

The purpose of this research is that learning in Indonesia continues. The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has made learning carried out online. Therefore, Learning Tool Development is also carried out online by utilizing E-Learning. The e-Learning used is zoom, quizizz, and google classroom. With online learning, it is hoped that students will remain enthusiastic in carrying out learning, even though there are many obstacles experienced by students during this online learning. Learning tools provided online are expected to train students' critical thinking in ways or strategies to solve mathematical problems or problems. By designing learning tools that are attractive, creative, and efficient so that students do not get bored during online learning, and can use smartphones positively and wisely. Learning kits consist of lesson plans, quizizz-based worksheets, and YouTube audio-visual materials. The purpose of this research is for learning to continue even in the new normal era due to the Covid-19 pandemic, by utilizing technology and information media such as E-learning.

Abstract

This research was conducted to answer the questions that have been formulated, namely to find out the activities of students thinking creatively conducted class VII SMP PGRI 08 Malang in solving problems in the topic of probability The purpose of this research is to find out the creative thinking done by students. One method that will be used by researchers to find out students' creative thinking in solving math problems is by giving tests. This researcher aims to describe the student's job description or specific circumstances. Data collection was done by the method of test and interview. The researchers found that students were able to work on problems in three components: fluency, flexibility, and novelty. This research is describing the activities of students thinking creatively of junior high school students in solving mathematical problems. The research subjects consisted of SMP PGRI 08 Malang, which was one of the students who could think creatively, which was an instrument, a matter of tests capable of mathematics by working on a topic of  probability.

Abstract

Scaffolding is assistance provided so students can solve problems or understand concepts that can not be solved independently. When students are considered capable of completing their tasks independently, the assistance is eliminated. In this study, scaffolding was carried out by giving problems about graph theory. Problems given are closed and open contextual problems. The selection of this problem can be seen by students' understanding of graph theory. The results of this study, this problem-based scaffolding can help students who experience difficulties in the problem of graph theory. Students are enthusiastic because through this problem, they can explore and connect blood donation problems and regional tourism with the concept of graph.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses pemberian scaffolding terhadap siswa yang mengalami kesulitan pada materi fungsi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII sebanyak 3 orang siswa, untuk memberikan scaffolding (bantuan) terhadap siswa yang mengalami kesulitan. Teknik Pengumpulan Data; 1) Observasi, 2) Wawancara dengan siswa, 3) Tes Dan Dokumentasi, 4) Scaffolding. Hasil penelitian menunjukan atau terindikasi siswa yang mengalami kesulitan pada materi fungsi dan melakukan proses scaffolding (bantuan) terhadap 2 butir soal pada materi fungsi yang dikerjakan siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, yaitu berdasarkan proses pemberian scaffolding pada pembelajaran matematika pada materi fungsi kepada siswa yang terindikasi mengalami kesulitan berdasarkan hasil tes awal. Pemberian scaffolding dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap-tahap untuk mengurangi kesulitan siswa dalam mengerjakan soal. Scaffolding yang diberikan pada level 2 ada tiga tahap yaitu tahap explaining, reviewing and restructuring. Pada tahap explaining, scaffolding yang diberikan berupa penjelasan konsep materi fungsi, apa yang diketahui dalam soal serta langkah-langkah penyelesaian. Tahap reviewing, scaffolding yang diberikan berupa meyuruh siswa membaca ulang soal atau memeriksa kembali soal dan melakukan tanya jawab serta melakukan pengecekan hasil pekerjaan siawa. Adapun tahap restructuring, scaffolding yang diberikan kepada siswa berupa mengarahkan siswa ketika melakukan kesalahan dalam menentukan apa yang diketahui dari soal dan ketika melakukan langkah penyelesaian pada materi fungsi.

Abstract

Planning is one of the most important stages in designing a lesson. At this stage, learning objectives, the material to be taught, learning media, and assessments are formulated. This qualitative descriptive research involves teachers, school principals, and various parties to carry out lesson plans. The material focused on in this lesson plan is material regarding the introduction of chickens to blind students. Generally, at this planning stage, the teacher carries out global planning, such as learning materials and objectives. Then determine the learning media used, then find and make learning media and prepare everything needed during learning. In this lesson, the media used are chicks and miniature chicks. With various considerations regarding student safety, the teachers chose chicks as the media used in this lesson. Good planning makes student learning experiences more structured, directed, and effective. Teachers can better adapt learning to student needs, increase engagement and motivation, and improve learning outcomes. The conclusion from the planning stage (Plan) in special schools on introducing chickens for blind students is at the planning stage of adapting the curriculum to the needs and characteristics of blind students. The main focus when developing learning designs for students with special needs, including students who are blind. Chicken introduction materials must be designed with an innovative and accessible approach for blind students. The designed learning objectives include aspects of knowledge about chickens, understanding of their characteristics, and details of chicken components. At this planning stage, audio-based early learning activities for students were also designed, such as the sound of chickens, natural situations, waves, and so on, which can lead to the core of learning.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan implementasi lesson study di Sekolah Dasar Luar Biasa (SDLB) dengan media pembelajaran berbasis solar cell. Lesson study merupakan pendekatan kolaboratif dalam pengembangan profesionalisme guru melalui perencanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi bersama terhadap proses pembelajaran. Sekolah Dasar Luar Biasa (SDLB) merupakan lembaga pendidikan inklusif yang menyediakan pendidikan bagi anak-anak dengan kebutuhan khusus. Media pembelajaran berbasis solar cell digunakan untuk membelajarkan huruf. Media ini tersusun dari huruf-huruf yang dapat menyala dengan energi matahari yang tersimpan di dalam solar cell. Lesson study dapat membantu para guru di SDLB untuk merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran yang difokuskan pada kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis solar cell. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa yang mengalami tuna rungu dan autis Fase A di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya ketertarikan siswa berkebutuhan khusus untuk mengeksplorasi media ini. Dengan adanya media ini siswa dapat mengenal komponen dari media pembelajaran huruf dengan energi dari solar cell ini sebagai inisiasi awal dari pembelajaran STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
