Abstract

Climate change has had an impact on increasing hydrometeorological disasters in Indonesia. the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) estimates, until mid-May 2020 Indonesia is threatened with a hydrometeorological disaster. Most of the Indonesian people are in areas prone to hydrometeorological disasters. To reduce its impact, the government needs to make adaptation efforts to climate change, which are carried out holistically and integrated by involving all elements of society and the government by referring to the National Action Plan for Climate Change Adaptation in Indonesia that has been prepared by the government of Indonesia.

Abstract

In Pasaman especially Nagari Jambak found several chunks of manganese at some point. To ascertain how big the potential of manganese is available, it is necessary to do some research to see subsurface structure of the earth in order to venture further exploitation (mining) is running properly. One method to determine the subsurface structure of the earth is the geoelectric method of induced polarization (IP). This method utilizes the electrical properties of the rock which is capable of storing a voltage during a certain time interval. Based on the data processing field is not found the deposition of manganese under all three tracks. Resistivity low price on this track, is caused by soil water content in the rock and not because of the rock layer is conductive. Based on the results of these measurements, estimated boulder-boulder manganese contained in the surrounding area of research is not formed in situ at the site proficiency level but rather the result of transport from another location that is above the location of the research

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Cahaya Bumi Perdana uses only one ventilation system, namely the blow ventilation system which aims to provide and flow fresh air into the mine for workers' breathing and other processes that require air. Based on the initial inspection of the ventilation system used in the CBP-03 hole using only the blow ventilation system, the researchers also found duct leaks at 3 points, which resulted in loss of air circulation. This causes the quality and quantity of air to decrease, as well as the effective temperature and relative humidity to increase beyond the threshold. In June there was an explosion and the location of the mine hole where the explosion had occurred is currently close to the location of the mine progress plan following the direction of the spread of coal which has potential hazards methane gas. From the results of the air quality evaluation, it can be concluded that the effective temperature and relative humidity in canopy 2, the branches and front work have exceeded the threshold value regulated by Kepmen No.1827 K / 30 / MEM / 2018, namely the effective temperature ranges between 18-24 ° C with a maximum relative humidity of 85%. From the evaluation results, the quantity of air in and out is the same, amounting to 6.06 m3 / sec, From the results of the need for air on the front of work, the need for air for breathing 3 workers per shift is 0, 10 m3 / sec. Air requirement needed to dilute methane gas is 0.24 m3 / sec. The overall air requirement for the equipment in the CBP-03 mine hole is for 1 unit jack hammer = 1300 watts = 1.743 HP = 1.743 x 3 m3 / minute = 0.08715 m3 / sec. From the results of the design of the ventilation system using autocad 2007 the total quantity of air intake is the air entering the tunnel canopy 1 maintained at 6.06 m3 / sec plus the quantity of air throughout the front duct from the available equipment with a total quantity of 3.03 m3 / second. So the total amount of intake air from the design after the addition of the fan is 9.09 m3 / sec. Meanwhile, the need for air for workers and mining supporting equipment is 0.73 m3 / sec. The need for safe and effective maintenance of ventilation equipment and providing backup ventilation equipment and the availability of a backup power source. Abstract

Abstract. PT. Wijaya Karya Bitumen is a company that plans to mine asphalt with an IUP area of 100 HA in Nambo Village, Lasalimu District, Buton Regency, Province of Sulawesi Tenggara. The total reserves are 5.945.000 tons with a selling price of IDR 270.000 / ton which is estimated to have a mining life of 16 years. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of investing in asphalt mining in terms of technical, economic and environmental aspects, using the discounted cash flow (DCF) feasibility analysis method to see whether a mine with asphalt production is feasible or not. The investment feasibility analysis parameters used are net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), pay back period (PBP) and profitability index (PI).The results of this study, obtained cash out flow of IDR 646.677.059.124 and cash in flow of IDR 2.088.966.982.500. Based on the discounted cash flow (DCF) method, the NPV results were IDR 206.854.298.263, an IRR of 15.99%, PBP for 3 years and 3 months and a PI of 3,127.Keywords : Investment Feasibility, Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Technical Aspects,Economic Aspects, and Environment.

Abstract

Abstract. Based on data from bauxite production in April 2019 at PT. Bhakti Karya Mandiri, bauxiteproduction did not reach the target. the production target is 25000 bcm. but the production achieved wasonly 16,916 bcm. This is caused by wasted work time and disruption time which causes operating timeand productivity to be low. To determine the potential for improving the production process and theeffectiveness of using equipment, an analysis using the overall shipping effectiveness (OEE) methodneeds to be done. After analysis and improvement methods were carried out, the production of KobelcoSK 330 exceeded the planned target which was previously 16,916 bcm to 25,629 m³. But the OEE valueis still <61% not yet achieved the world class OEE> 85%, it can be concluded that the use of equipmentis not optimal. Abstract

Abstract. PT. Semen Padang, which was established in 1990, is a state-owned company (BUMN) which is a national cement producer for the needs of the domestic market. PT Semen Padang uses the open pit mining method with a quarry mining system which includes land clearing, material unloading by blasting, loading, transporting and processing materials. to dismantle hard rock is usually done by blasting. The resulting blasting vibration must be in a safe condition for the surroundings. The reality on the ground is that blasting often creates impacts and complaints for the communities around the mine. The purpose of this paper is to find the results of the blasting fractionation produced by loading hauling and about the environment around the mine. The location of this research was carried out in the Karang Putih area of PT.Semen Padang, Padang City, West Sumatra Province in November 2019. From the blasting activity, the size of the rock fragmentation resulted from the blasting was small from 80 cm, only 53.218%,From loading and hauling activities, the Hitachi EX 2500-6 (EH06) excavator productivity is 805.47 tons / hour, the Komatsu 785-7 Heavy Dumptruck is 203.177 tons / hour, the required Heavy Dumptruck is 4 units, and the work compatibility of the tools is 0.807. , Crusher VI productivity is 2128,761 tonnes / hour and the total production in December 2019 is 10218.0545 tonnes / month. water pollution control, Air Pollution Control, Noise Level Quality Standards, Vibration Level Quality Standards. Abstract

This Research based on the partially fragmentation which the boulders blasting results more than 80cms that intervene the crusher’s performance. The purpose of this Final Project is to get the exact value of powder factor; in order to attain the value of fragmentation up to 80 with optimally hold on 10%.The methodology problem that used is finding the value of rock factor by using Monte Carlo simulation and calculate the effect of powder factor on fragmentation with linear regression.The result of this final project is attained the value of rock factor 5.01 by using Monte Carlo simulation and the relationship between powder factor with the fragmentation is 72% with equation Y = -102,89X + 50,086. Based on its calculation, to attain the maximum result of fragmentation holding up to 10%, therefore the exact value of powder factor is 0,389.  Keywords: boulder, fragmentation, powder factor, rock factor

Abstract

Based on ore production data at PT. Dempo Maju Cemerlang found that the production target is 1500 tons / month, while what it gets is 900 tons / month. The contributing factors are the inadequate work of the loading equipment, transportation equipment, and the presence of a time slot. Ideal conditions in the production process are very difficult to achieve, this can be pursued by optimizing these tools. One of the methods used is the quality control circle (qcc) method. The actual production of loading equipment is 1298,21 tonnes / month and transportation equipment is 1414,09 tonnes / month. Identification of problems seen from human, machine, and environmental factors. The actual production is 1200 tons, and the actual productivity of the loading equipment is 1298.21 tons / month and the transportation equipment is 1414.09 tons / month. while the target of ore production is 2100 tons / month. After optimization, it was found that the ore production was 2111 tons, and the productivity of loading equipment was 2297.87 tons / month and transportation equipment was 2513.90 tons / month. So, the optimization obtained is 49.17% for loading equipment and 50.50% for conveyances of the required target, around 40.56% increase in loading tool productivity and 34.04% increase in conveyance productivity. It can be concluded that the increase in production carried out by the qcc method has been achieved. So it requires equipment maintenance management, rail checking, and increased operator discipline.

Abstract

ABSTRACT PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk is a National Bussines Agency (BUMN) which move on mining field. The core business of this company is tin mining. The result of land mining held by business partner that fulfill the standard of PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk is Sn with content > 20%. Due to rareness of the stockpile and since the processing tin content is become lower and lower, therefore a technology to process the low grade tin ore with fine grain into an acceptable content of PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk is needed.One of the tools being used this time is shaking table.Today, in the operation, the use of shaking table by business partner of PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk. Thus, the problem is whether the variables arrangement of shaking table operation for this time do not fit the feed condition, so that it can influence the time and the cost of the process. Therefore, there should be an analysis of the shaking table operation variables, so that a good suitability can be obtained in order to increase the cassiterite gain.According to the research result, it can be concluded that the main factors which cause the low gain of tin ore is over sloping tilt (3˚ and 3˚), and over sloping (5˚ and 5˚) and a too high water discharge (7 litres/minutes and 8 litres/minutes). The best result can be obtained through experiment with a moderate tilt (3˚ and 5˚), small water discharge  which produce average content 20,30 % Sn, concentrate result weight 49,01 Kg and concentrate content weight 9,94 Kg Sn.Keyword : low grade, slope, water discharge, shaking table ABSTRAK PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk adalah Perusahaan Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) yang bergerak di bidang penambangan. Bisnis inti perusahaan ini adalah penambangan timah Hasil dari Penambangan di darat yang dilakukan oleh Mitra Usaha yang dapat diterima oleh PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk adalah dengan kadar       Sn > 20%. Dengan semakin sulitnya cadangan yang tersedia dan semakin rendah kadar timah yang diolah maka diperlukan suatu teknologi yang dapat mengolah bijih timah low grade dengan butiran yang halus menjadi bijih timah dengan kadar yang dapat diterima oleh PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk. Salah satu alat yang digunakan saat ini adalah shaking table. Saat ini pemakaian shaking table oleh mitra usaha PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk belum mempunyai standar baku dalam pengoperasiannya. Dalam pengoperasiannya masih menggunakan trial dan error. Berdasarkan kondisi di atas, permasalahan yang timbul adalah apakah pengaturan variabel-variabel operasi shaking table selama ini belum sesuai dengan kondisi umpan (feed) sehingga berpengaruh terhadap waktu dan biaya proses. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan kajian terhadap kondisi variabel-variabel operasi shaking table yang digunakan sehingga dapat diperoleh kesesuaian yang baik dalam meningkatkan perolehan cassiteriteBerdasarkan hasil penelitian maka didapatkan bahwa faktor-faktor utama yang menyebabkan rendahnya perolehan bijih timah adalah kemiringan yang terlalu landai (3˚ dan 3˚),dan terlalu miring (5˚ dan 5˚) dan debit air yang terlalu cepat  ( 7 liter/menit dan 8 liter/menit ). Perolehan terbaik didapatkan pecobaan dengan kemiringan yang sedang (3˚ dan 5˚) debit air yang kecil 6 liter/menit. Perolehan percobaan terbaik pada 3˚ dan 5˚ debit air yang kecil 6 liter/menit, menghasilkan Kadar rata – rata 20,30 % Sn, Berat hasil 49,01 Kg dan berat kadar 9,94 KgSn.Kata Kunci: low grade, Kemiringan, debit air, shaking table

Abstract

After doing the observation at PT. Semen Padang, the authors obtained data  RKAP (Work Plan and Corporate Budget) of 8,064,608 ton/year and limestone production realization of 7,563,049 ton/year with production percentage 93.8% in 2017. Based on the observation data, it can be seen that limestone mining production target is not always achieved. It is necessary to evaluate the causes of non-achievement of production targets. This can be interpreted that there are problems in the unit crushing and conveying. The problem that often happens is the conveyor belt transportation. PT. Semen Padang itself currently has 3 units of Lime Stone Crusher (LSC). From 3 units of LSC (LSC II, LSC IIIA and LSC IIIB), the total belt conveyor operating on the LSC is 23 belt with different belt width. So also with the speed of each belt is different, depending on the ability of the gearbox mounted on each - each conveyor belt motor. From RBC A2J05 calculation has actual productivity value 813,97 tons/hour, RBC A2J06 has actual productivity value 869,56 tons/hour RBC A4J12P has actual productivity value 1,115,72 tons/hour RBC A1J02 has actual productivity value 1,352,98 tons/hour RBC A1J12B has actual productivity value 1,465,45 tons/hour, RBC A4J14 has actual productivity value 1,091,99 tons/hour. After performing RBC A2J05 performance optimizer, RBC A2J06, RBC A4J12P, RBC A1J02, RBC A1J12B and RBC A4J14 according to gearbox's maximum capability, the A4J12P belt productivity, A1J12B belt, A4J14 belt is able to accommodate limestone delivery, while belt A2J05, belt A2J06 and the A1J02 belt is still unable to accommodate limestone delivery production in December 2017Keywords: Crushing, Conveying, Belt conveyor, Limestone, Gearbox
