Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menemukan formulasi strategi yang efisien dan efektif dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum, sehingga menjadi atraktif, siswa aktif, dan target yang diinginkan tercapai secara terukur. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan menggunakan pendekatan ADDIE dengan objek penelitiannya strategi penerapan blended pada mata kuliah Kajian Kurikulum Sekolah. Sumber data adalah mahasiswa jurusan Kurikulum dan Teknologi Pendidikan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Padang. Produk penelitian ini divalidasi oleh pakar sesuai dengan bidang terkait. Produk yang dihasilkan dibahas dalam kegiatan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama dua tahun. Tahun pertama penelitian ini sudah sampai pada tahap analisis, desain dan pengembangan dengan formula online learning 62,5% dan formula pertemuan tatap muka 37,5%. Tahun kedua hasil pengembangan ini akan diimplementasikan dan dievaluasi. Kata kunci: formulasi, strategi, blended learningAbstract The purpose of this study is to find an efficient and effective formulation of strategy applying blended learning in implementation of the curriculum, so that the implementation of the curriculum would be attractives, active students and reach the expected target. The type of this research is a development ADDIE approach, where the object of the research is strategy of applying blended learning in the School Curriculum Subject. The source of data was college students from Curriculum and Educational Technology, Department in Education Science Faculty Padang State University. The product of this research was validated by experts. Furthermore, the product would be discussed in the Focus Group Discussion activities (FGD). This research carried out during two years. In the first year, this research has reached analysis stage, design and development by using online learning formula 62,5% and face-to-face formula 37,5%. In the second years, the results of this development would implemented and evaluated. Keyword : formulation, strategy, blended learning

Abstract

The aim of research was to develop research-based learning models to increase students’ entrepreneurial interest in State University of Padang. It was begun by doing the related surveys for current situation of entrepreneurial teachingdid not provide yetthe knowledge and students’ entrepreneurial expectations. For that reason need a research-based learning to empower student’s strategy in the field of real business as well as to improve students’ self-evaluation in enhancing their ability to take the business opportunity as the manifestation of the entrepreneurship course. This research used research and development method with Triangulation Mixed Method Design. Updating of the models was done by doing the curriculum assessment with specialists and practitioners. The collection of the data used questionnaires, interviews, documentary studies, training and mentoring as well as Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Quantitative data were analyzed by using an experimental model by using independent t-test. The experimental results on the three classes showed that research-based learning models can give positive impact to students’ entrepreneurial interest and this model had qualified and allowable to be used as teaching materials for entrepreneurship courses at the Education Faculty of State University of Padang.The developed model was expected become a feasible choice by entrepreneurshiplecturers to the implementation of entrepreneurship course for university students at faculty of Education in State University of Padang.

Abstract

Paper bertujuan memaparkan inovasi pendidikan berbasis teknologi informasi di negara-negara maju seperti Amerika Serikat, Inggris, Cina dan Jepang menuju peradaban pendidikan masa depan. Inovasi pendidikan masa depan terus berpacu seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi informatika di seluruh dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Kemajuan pendidikan di negara-negara maju telah melahirkan berbagai inovasi pendidikan di Indonesia diantaranya kebijakan pendidikan berbasis web yang dikenal dengan online learning atau distance learning yang sudah dipelopori oleh Amerika Serikat, Inggris, Cina dan Jepang sebagai Negara-negara maju yang lebih dahulu memanfaatkan kemajuan digital bagi pembangunan sistrem pendidikan masa depan mereka. Kemajuan era digital di negara-negara maju ini memberikan dampak positif bagi Indonesia yang kemudian ikut membangun platform pendidikan berbasis teknologi informasi sebagai sarana pendukung perbaikan proses pembelajaran masa depan dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dasar, menengah dan perguruan tinggi. Hal ini terwujud dalam kebijakan pembelajaran jarak jauh yang dicanangkan pemerintah Indonesia mengunakan platform pembelajaran e-learning yang sudah menjadi keharusan bagi perguruan tinggi di Indonesia menyediakan system pembelajaran berbasis web ini.

Abstract

The integrated thematic textbook developed by the government and becoming a learning resource for elementary students already has the characteristics of literacy learning. However, using them for studying online is less effective. Therefore it is necessary to develop a teaching material that uses an online program/media which can be a reading source as well as a place to do exercises. This research is a development research using the Borg and Galls design. The evaluation method used refers to a formative evaluation design consisting of expert reviews and small group evaluations. The validity data were collected through the validation of teaching materials by 5 experts and analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques. Practicality data were collected through observing the implementation of learning, and filling out questionnaires by teachers and students. The collected data from observations and questionnaires were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results showed that the average expert and practitioner assessment of the content validity was 3.12 with the valid category and the construct validity 3.15 with the valid category. The average practicality assessment by students was 3.24 and by the teacher 3.25. This shows that the teaching materials developed are very practical. It can be concluded that literacy-based integrated thematic teaching materials using Microsoft Sway for grade V elementary school students developed are valid and very practical.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the comparison of teachers’ competence of Environmental Education Subject at State of SMP in Padang City to build and implement a creative learning model based on school accreditation status. Four indicators of creativity measured in the comparison of teachers’ competence to build and apply this creative learning model are 1.) measurement of teacher's competence comparison to build creative learning of fluency thinking element between SMPN with accreditation A and B, 2.) Measure teacher's competence to build creative learning of flexible thinking element between SMPN with accreditation A and B, 3.) Comparative measurement of teacher's competence to build creative learning of original thinking element between SMPN with accreditation A and B, and 4.) complementary measurement of teacher to build creative learning element of elaboration thinking between SMPN with accreditation A and B. Population in this Research are all teacher of Environmental Education Subject as much as 57 in SMPN A- accredited and 57 in SMPN B-accredited with a total of 114 teachers. The research instrument used questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was done by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics consist of validity and reliability, normality, homogeneity and independent t-test. The result of the research shows that there is an increase of competence of environmental education subject teachers between SMPN A-accredited and B- accredited in building creative learning model 1) fluency thinking, 2) flexible thinking, 3) original thinking and 4) elaboration thinking) Teachers of SMPN with A- accredited is better competence to build creative learning model than Teachers of SMPN with B- accredited in Padang city. This is due to the differences in the number of training, the difference in the facilities and learning infrastructure, the difference of the students input when the selection comes in

Abstract

The community services purposes was to establish the work-oriented school community program and prepared the volunteers as trainer for digital design Corel draw and photoshop as well as the training of producing any souvenir made by shellfish shells in order to build a work-oriented education program in the Senior high school community and strengthen the students’ entrepreneur skills in two State Senior High School 12 and 13 Padang. This Community-Based Research approach involved two state senior high school students in Padang City. The result of the services showed that the program of community-based research plays an important role in realizing the work-oriented education program by strengthening the local industrial contents and extracurricular activities of entrepreneurship training in the schools. It could be seen from the improvement of students' skill in the creative business of digital design and souvenir products made by shellfish as well as increasing student’s spirit for directly involving in the activities of entrepreneurship in their school.  Follow up these activities should strengthen the cooperation among another school in West Sumatra to have the graduates of ready to work and ready to be entrepreneur indirectly help the government to reduce the educated unemployment in West Sumatra as well.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of Teaching Game for Understanding (TGfU) in increasing the students’ motivation and physical fitness. TGfU is a training concept of sport based on game. It is not only have meaning as strengthening educational praxis in fields of sport-game separately, but rather to develop an educational approach to the problems solving in tactical strategy in a competition of the sport-game, and also about attitude, motivation, responsibility for the task, collaboration, etc. Method of this study uses a qualitative approach with classroom action research. The results of the study reported that method of TGfU can increase students’ motivation and physical fitness especially in the second cycle of teaching and learning in the field. For sport teacher is advised to use this model in order to improve students’ participation, motivation, tactical cognitive and strategy and sport achievement of their physical fitness, especially for the subject matter of sport required the game approach.

Abstract

The implementation of distance learning (PJJ) with the learning from home strategy, is one option in implementing learning involving parental participation. This study aims to create and develop a learning guide for parents that can be used to support distance learning through learning from home strategies, thereby helping parents understand the right way of learning to accompany their children during the distance learning process. This handbook can open up parents' insight about how to carry out learning at home and what items can be used as learning media. This learning guide book is made using behavioristic learning strategies with parental involvement learning models, combining traditional and creative games into the learning process.

Abstract

The beginning of this research was due to students' problems with activities and student learning outcomes. During the passive student learning process,no one asked or contributed to the learning activity. Many student learning outcomes are less than the predetermined KKM value. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of using the Think Talk Write type learning model with the help of learning videos in ICT learning on the activities and learning outcomes of class VIII students. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Pangkalan Kuras. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with a population of all class VIII SMPN 1 Pangkalan Kuras for the academic year 2021/2022 which opens seven classes. The sample is represented by class 8B as the experimental class and 8F as the control class. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The instruments used for data collection are questionnaires and tests. Data analysis used normality test and homogeneity test and t-test was performed to prove the hypothesis. The result is a significant effect of the use of the Think Talk Write cooperative learning model on activities and learning outcomes on basic computer operating materials taught using cooperative learning models and assisted by animated videos which are higher than student learning outcomes and learning motivation taught by learning models conventional video-assisted animation.

Abstract

This training was motivated by the low TPACK ability of elementary school teachers in the mathematics learning process. The purpose of this activity is to improve the TPACK ability of elementary school teachers in learning mathematics. The implementation method is by carrying out training activities in Cluster II, Pauh District, Padang City, involving 30 elementary school teachers. The results of the activity stated that there was an increase in the TPACK ability of elementary school teachers in learning mathematics. The implications of this activity can be used as a reference in developing the TPACK abilities of elementary school teachers.
