Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the analysis of the mathematical problem-solving ability of students in Mathematics of Natural Sciences (MIA) and Social Sciences (IIS) groups in terms of interest in learning the mathematics of learners. This research is a qualitative research type analysis. The data collected in this research is done by a triangulation technique which is done when the researcher analyzes the problem-solving ability of mathematical learners. The technique of data validity used in this research is triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques used are Model Miles and Huberman, IE data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the discussion show students with high-interest categories can solve the problem of each of the stages of problem-solving correctly. Students with moderate interest categories in solving the given problem, able to solve problem problems and meet all the indicators, but in some other stages are still less systematic in the settlement. Students with low-interest categories are only able to finish in the stages of understanding the problem and planning the problem, although not maximal yet, and have not been able to finish the other stages.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a mathematic module based on Problem Based Learning method trigonometry lessons for Senior High School. In this study use R&D (Research and Development) Borg and Gall modified from sugiyono, the procedure used as follows: (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) product validation, (5) product revision, (6) product trial, (7) product revision. Data collection techniques used areinterview, kuisioner, observation, and document. Validaton is done by material experts, media experts, and linguists. Trials are conducted through two stages is small group trials and field trials. Validation results material experts, media experts, and linguists obtained the average value with valid criteria. On field trials determine the response of learners in Senior High School Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung, in Senior High School AL-AZHAR 3, and in Senior High School Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung obtained average value of 3,58 with criteria very interesting.

Abstract

Education students must be someone who is intelligent and able to think creatively in the future as an educator. But in reality it is not small when students are tested to perform properly like a teacher. Microteaching courses can be used as a solution for students to learn how to work as educators. Not only in the microteaching course, students can learn how to become good educators, other subjects that support basic mathematics and teaching and learning strategies, so the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of basic mathematics and teaching and learning strategies on microteaching subjects. This study uses a purposive sampling technique with a sample of research determined by students of class E T.A 2015/2016. This study uses linear regression calculations and correlations with Ms. Excel in order to find out which of the 2 courses that have been taken is the one that most influences the appearance of students in the microteaching course. The results showed that the teaching and learning strategy subjects had the most influence on the appearance of students in the microteaching course with a correlation value (0.20).
