Abstract

This study examines the Political News Analysis of the Sovereignty of the People's Sovereignty on Eradicating Corruption as the Independence of the Mass Media in Proclaiming the Performance of the Jokowi-JK Government which focuses on 1 year of its administration (20 October 2014 October 20 2015). This research is based on two things, namely: first, how is the analysis of the political news regarding Corruption Eradication in the local mass media (Kedaulatan Rakyat) in reporting on the performance of the Jokowi-JK government; second, how the independence of the local mass media in reporting on the performance of the Jokowi-JK government in the area of ??corruption eradication. Media independence is seen from the method of Qualitative Approach with Critical Paradigm namely Critical Discourse Analysis; using Teun A. van Dijk's Model Analysis of text production involving aspects of cognition and social context. The production of text in the political news regarding the Eradication of Corruption in Judging the Performance of the Jokowi-JK Government presented by the Kedaulatan Rakyat SKH is a strong text structure. The Kedaulatan Rakyat Daily Newspaper is able to provide detailed Semantic Structure and more coherent relationships between words / sentences. In addition, the Kedaulatan Rakyat Daily Newspaper minimizes graphics and metaphor as rhetorical elements so as to be able to present more real and factual news. starting from text, social cognition and social context. The news on SKH Kedaulatan Rakyat is able to present the factual news objectivity in accordance with the truth and relevance. Not only that, the objectivity of the news about justice is able to be fulfilled by the People's Sovereignty SKH by presenting balanced news and explaining it more neutral without the support of the mass media. Abstract

This study aims to determine how the female audience's perception of the romantic character of the 1990 film Dilan. This research is a qualitative research using qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the romantic character of the Dilan 1990 film teaches about a good relationship must be brave to be different and romantic, giving the perception that the relationship must be lived uniquely so that a harmonious relationship can be established, the relationship must have firmness, especially for a man who must make the right decision and have to be romantic towards the partner, the relationship must be sincere, and increase friends to hang out and there must be a humorous attitude, the relationship does not have to be luxurious and there must be proof by real action and love there must be a sense of comfort, trust and support . The informants have provided different information about the perception of the Dilan 1990 film and they have learned a lot from the 1990 Dilan film about the importance of trust, support and comfort. Abstract

A comedian has a function to entertain the audience. He displays interesting content and can lead the audience to laugh. Humor put forward by comedians consists of aspects of verbal actions carried out by speakers which we usually call aspects of the mouth and nonverbal aspects, namely with other body movements which are stimulating, cognitive and intellectual activities as assessment and evaluation as well as those that are visible from smiles and laughter. . It is interesting to study with semiotic method. Semiotics is the science or method of analysis to study signs. Semiotics has various types, one of which is Social Semiotics. This research is about sarcasm humor in Uncle Roger's Youtube video content entitled "Uncle Roger is Sick of Nasi Goreng Eggs (BBC Food). Researchers analyzed the video by connecting representation theory and MAK Halliday's social semiotic theory who saw that the text contains three important components, namely: Discourse, Discourse Tenor and Discourse Mode Based on the analysis of social semiotics, the results of the research are: (1) There are 14 Discourse Fields discussed by Uncle Roger in the video entitled "Uncle Roger is sick with Egg Fried Rice (BBC Food)"; (2) People involved in the discourse in the Youtube video is chef Hersha Patel who is under the auspices of the BBC Food portal and involves Asian culture in cooking egg fried rice compared to white or western culture (3) The discourse in this video uses a sarcasm style. used, is a discourse that contains sarcasm or full of innuendo and ridicule directly or indirectly . Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of Gina Luttrell's SOME (Share, Optimize, Manage, Engage) Theory in managing the @pesantrenbima instagram account in social media activities with optimal planning and strategies in order to achieve the desired goals, one of which is building maximum bond with the audience owned by social media platforms, namely utilizing the existence of Instagram as a tool (tool) in achieving its goals. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using the object of research on the Instagram account @pesantrenbima. The research subjects are admin, ustad (teacher) at Pesantren Bima, and followers. Research data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are: Share, the Instagram account @pesantrenbima is the right choice for Instagram social media and makes selection and sorting in determining the content to be presented. Optimize, the Instagram account @pesantrenbima has not used the hashtag feature provided by Instagram as a whole but the good thing that has been implemented is the presentation of content in various forms, both photos/images, videos and Instagram stories. Manage, the @pesantrenbima instagram account has properly implemented comments or direct messages from the public that will be responded to, and the Bima Pesantren social media team has carried out monitoring to evaluate the content that has been presented. Engage, the Instagram account @pesantrenbima reaches their target audience by adapting the content they post to their target audience by creating content that is interesting, up-to-date and in clear, concise, and easy-to-understand language making the information to be conveyed easily absorbed by its followers. . Abstract

Communication is a way for us to be able to understand each other and know what the other means and vice versa. This study aims to find out how to construct and interpret meaning and how to rule in a conversation. Research using an ethnographic approach to communication focuses on studying how members of a cultural group use language (communicate) in social life or social interaction. Hymes argued that communication ethnography is a speech situation, speech event, and speech act. The speech situation itself is defined by Hymes as a set of situations in (or marked by the absence of) speech (situations associated with (or marked by the absence of) speech), (Anshori, 2017). Especially related to speech situations, speech events, and speech acts. Researching the ongoing communication process, analyzing conversations in whatsapp groups, and seeing how speech situations, speech events, and speech acts in conversations on whatsapp group media are 10.CIGASONG MEMBER ONLY. WhatsApp groups are defined as appropriate and effective media in maintaining communication between members. The analysis of the conversations contained in the wahtsapp10.CIGASONG MEMBER ONLY group is also related to the ethnography of communication because of the role of language as a conversational or communication activity. Of course, the utterances analyzed in this study are in the form of conversations in the context of interactions with members of one another in the group. Each member in the WhatsApp group has a different perception or meaning in responding to the content of the message, because each member or person has different thoughts, therefore they must know the situation of speech, speech events, speech acts in an ongoing conversation and the use of paying attention to various languages. need to pay attention to speakers and speech partners, the purpose of the context and speech so that there is no misunderstanding in the use of speech, so as not to cause misunderstanding or miscommunication in the long term.
