Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan salah satu tri dharma Perguruan Tinggi selain pendidikan dan penelitian yang wajib untuk dilaksanakan karena mengaplikasikan dan menginformasikan perkembangan teknologi langsung ke masyarakat. Salah satu bentuk pengabdian mayarakat yang dilakukan adalah pelatihan aplikasi perkantoran, keuntungan yang bisa didapatkan dengan menguasai aplikasi perkantoran ini adalah bisa bekerja dengan entry data. Pekerjaan entry data tidak hanya ada di perusahaan, sekolah ataupun lembaga pendidikan, seperti tempat kursus atau universitas pasti memerlukan orang-orang yang mempunyai skill aplikasi perkantoran. Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan di Desa Sungai Jelai kabupaten Tanah Laut dengan materi aplikasi perkantoran ini yang bertempat di kantor kepala desa setempat, yang ditujukan kepada aparat desa dan pemuda khususnya diharapkan mereka bisa mengelola data yang lebih efektif dan efisien serta tidak banyak ketinggalan informasi dan teknologi yang ada. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian yang telah dilakukan, pelatihan ini sangat diharapkan oleh masyarakat yang dilihat dari antusias dan keingintahuan mereka terhadap teknologi yang sedang berkembang. Kata Kunci: Aplikasi perkantoran, Informasi, Teknologi.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi dan informasi dewasa ini dapat membantu guru dan peserta didik menyajikan materi presentasi dengan mudah dan menarik. Hal ini bertujuan agar audience dapat fokus mendengarkan dan tidak bosan. Salah satu media presentasi yang paling umum digunakan adalah aplikasi  Microsoft Power Point. Meskipun aplikasi ini mudah didapatkan, tetapi masih ada beberapa guru maupun peserta didik yang belum familiar dengan Ms. Power Point. Sasaran dari pelatihan ini adalah guru dan peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Umum (SMU) di sekitar lingkungan Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah optimalisasi penggunaan Ms. Power Point untuk presentasi. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan, peserta yang belum pernah menggunakan microsoft power point merasa sangat terbantu dan tertarik untuk terus menggunakannya, sedangkan bagi peserta yang sudah pernah menggunakan aplikasi ini menjadi lebih tau akan kegunaan fitur-fitur lainnya. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Aplikasi, Microsoft Power Point

Abstract

Fenomena globalisasi memberikan dampak yang sangat besar bagi penyebaran informasi. Dewasa ini, masyarakat sangat mudah mengakses atau mencari informasi melalui search engine. Search engine sendiri adalah sebuah mesin atau software yang digunakan untuk mencari data atau file yang ada di internet. Meskipun search engine sudah umum digunakan hanya saja terkadang masih banyak orang yang tidak memanfaatkannya secara optimal, selain itu jenis search engine juga ada bermacam-macam. Pada pengabdian masyarakat kali ini, penulis memilih untuk memberikan pelatihan optimaliasasi penggunaan search engine dengan menggunakan browser google chrome. Peserta pengabdian kepada masyarakat ada 50 orang, yang terdiri dari 40 orang guru dan 10 orang staf tata usaha. Peserta merupakan guru dan staf dari Kecamatan Batu Ampar, kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Batu Ampar. Panitia yang menghadiri kegiatan pengabdian ada 10 orang, terdiri dari 3 orang dosen, 2 orang laboran, dan 5 orang dosen. Pelatihan terlaksana dengan baik dan harapan peserta adalah kegiatan dapat berlangsung secara kontinyu sehingga dapat mencapai hasil maksimal. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Aplikasi, Microsoft Power Point

Abstract

Every year the production motorcycles has increased. In 2017 to 2018 the increase reached 8,112,364 units or 7.24%. Motorcycles are the most popular among Indonesian people, especially the lower middle class to facilitate mobilization in daily activities. As the rapid growth of motorcycle, the number of criminal motorcycles theft is also high. criminal motorcycles data for 2018 amounted to 27,731 cases and for 2017 there were 35,226 cases. Motorcycles are often the object of theft because it is easier in terms of mobilization in terms of the theft process to the sale to collectors compared cars and above. In addition, the security side provided by motorcycles manufacturers is still relatively low, only a few manufacturers have listed an alarm feature in their production. The modus operandi that the perpetrators often use is to destroy the key house by using the T key, but also by seizing directly, pretending to borrow to spread nails on certain streets. This study aims to develop a tool (Smart motor) that can be used as an anti-theft security with the media validation of the driver's license and vehicle registration so that the motor can not be turned on if it does not bring the driver’s licence and vehicle registration registered on the device. With the device built, the owner is required to bring the vehicle registration and driver’s licence so that the motor can be turned on. This is also useful in order to comply with traffic rules set by the police, namely by carrying a complete driving while traveling

Abstract

Madrasah is a place of study or formal school equivalent to elementary school, but at madrasah there will be more to learn about Islam, especially learning to read the Koran. Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Kintap uses the at-tanzil method in the process of learning the Qur'an, with the aim that students can understand more quickly about tajwid and the law of reading the Quran. MI Darul Ulum Kintap will provide a notebook of the achievements of the students so that parents can monitor the extent to which the students have learned. The problem that exists in recording the student's achievement using a note book is the negligence of the students in maintaining the achievement record book, so that it can make it difficult for parents and teachers to monitor the learning process of the students. To overcome this problem, the authors take advantage of technological developments by building a system that can be used to access data on student achievement in real time. This research also adds a feature to register new students, so that parents can register their children online. In this research, data analysis uses the method waterfall. The results of the research that has been carried out are that all features or functions of the system built have run well according to their function by testing the functionality of the system using the method black-box.

Abstract

Waste is the result of the dynamics of life that can cause problems if it is not properly managed. Many methods had been used to help overcome waste management. The Waste Bank is one of the solutions to help solve waste management. Bank Sampah Panggung Berseri is one of the communities that actively carries out waste management around the Pangung village. BSPB has problems related to solid waste management. The management in question is the management of waste data that is still conventional, archiving is not optimal, has not managed customer data savings properly. In this research also added a marketplace feature where people can make transactions from balances obtained from waste sold by buying basic necessities. The method in this research is to collect data at BSPB, analyze data and develop applications using the prototype method. The results of this study are all the features or functions of the system run well by testing the functionality used the Black Box testing method. In testing using the usability testing method has shown the level of satisfaction for the parameters of usability, ease of learning, ease of use and satisfaction gives an average value of 4.38 from the range of values ​​1-5. This shows that the system made can be said to satisfy BSPB users and customers.

Abstract

Kelompok Tani “RUKUN TANI” bergerak di bidang peternakan sapi. Mereka juga sebagian besar memiliki perkebunan sawit sendiri. Permasalahan utama yang dialami oleh peternak sapi adalah kendala pemenuhan kebutuhan pakan. Peternak sapi mencari rumput dengan menggunakan sabit (ngarit) setiap hari, bahkan sampai ke desa tetangga. Hal ini karena rumput liar mulai habis. Jika musim kemarau pakan sapi sangat sulit diperoleh. Solusi yang ditawarkan yaitu melalui “Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Penerapan Automatic Integrator Machine untuk Mewujudkan Integrasi Sapi-Sawit pada Kelompok Tani Desa Martadah Baru Kabupaten Tanah Laut”. Automatic Integrator Machine merupakan mesin pengolah pelepah dan daun sawit menjadi pakan sapi (pakan fermentasi maupun silase), sekaligus pengolah kotoran sapi menjadi pupuk organik, sehingga bisa mengintegrasikan antara peternakan sapi yang ada di Desa Martadah Baru dengan perkebunan sawit setempat. Hasil dari PKM ini ialah berhasil dibuat pakan fermentasi dari limbah kebun sawit dan cacahan rumput gajah yang dicampur bekatul serta probiotik (EM4) yang disimpan selama 21 hari ke depan untuk siap digunakan secara jangka panjang.

Abstract

The government is proclaiming the electrical energy saving campaign in order to raise the people’s awareness of its importance. The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM Ministry) of the Republic of Indonesia stated that a year of energy saving equals to the amount of saving Rp43.000.000.000.000,00 (forty three trillion rupiah) of money, which is also equal to a construction of electric steam power plant with the capacity of 3.500 megawatts (MW). One of the programs that has been encouraged by the government is the 'turn off the light' campaign. Turning off lights is a simple but often neglected thing. Apart from the limited awareness to save the energy for a better future, people are often too busy to do it. In 2015, Taruna built an Arduino Micro-controller based light control system using Android smartphone to provide ease, specifically for physically disabled and elderly. The shortcomings of this system are that the lights cannot be turned on and off automatically (smart) with timer and it can only be controlled at close range (bluetooth). Development of technology with the internet guide can easily help human, and thus, this research aims to improve the system with the time control (timer) and close range control (bluetooth) as well as the long range using SMS and internet. The system is built with the prototype model that incude the communication, fast planning, fast prototype designing and building, system submission and feedback. The result of this system building is that the light can be controlled using bluetooth and also provide a faster response time; less than a second (as well as the timer). The light can also be controlled from a long range using the internet connection, giving a response time between 14 to 17 seconds. When a light control command occurs, the SMS notification is sent to the cell phone of the user. Using this system, the light can be controlled correctly in order to conveniently give the user effectivity and efficiency in electrical energy usage.

Abstract

Berkembangnya Islam di Indonesia telah mengalami berbagai macam kondisi dan hambatan, sebelum akhirnya dapat menyebar keberbagai wilayah di Nusantara. Permasalahan yang sekarang dihadapi oleh Organisasi Islam yang berada di Kecamatan Pelaihari masih banyaknya pemuda-pemudi yang belum mengetahui lokasi organisasi keislaman. Hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan terhambatnya pencarian anggota baru karena kurangnya informasi mengenai lokasi beserta nama-nama organisasi keislaman yang ada di Kecamatan Pelaihari. Sementara itu, sistem Kementrian Agama yang berada di Kecamatan Pelaihari masih mengunakan sistem manual dalam mencatatan organisasi islam, sehingga informasi tentang nama-nama organisasi islam, lokasi organisasi islam, dan struktur organisasi islam tidak di ketahui oleh masyarakat. Sehingga dibutuhkan suatu sistem yang masyarakat untuk mengetahui informasi organisasi-organisasi keIslaman. Masyarakat dapat mengakses Aplikasi Geografis Organisasi Islam di Kecamatan Pelaihari Berbasis Web Mobile. Aplikasi ini dirancang dengan menggunakan Data Flow Diagram, Flowchart serta dirancang menggunakan Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) dan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP).

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut has several web-based systems that have been implemented. The systems built are still standalone and not yet integrated, so users must have different accounts on each system. Users must remember each account to access the system and for security reasons users usually change their passwords regularly. This Password change process will take a long time considering that every change made is directly proportional to the number of existing systems. Therefore we need a system that can integrate user accounts and manage the authentication and authorization process. This process requires an additional server that acts as a liaison between the system integrator and the application service system. The purpos of this research is to create an innovative system that can handle all authentication and authorization of each application system and is known as the Single Sign On (SSO) system. So that the benefits of research from the existence of a Single Sign On system, users only by using one user account can access many systems without entering repeated Usernames and passwords. In practice, user account data is retrieved from Cloud Identity via Secure LDAP, then user data is managed by the RADIUS Server and distributed to existing application service systems. The research has been successfully carried out and implemented on a website owned by the Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut, with the implementation of Single Sign On, login to the website only by using the same Username and password.
