Abstract

ABSTRACT: Human beings engage in conflict, aggression, warfare, and violence seemingly equate with the human condition. Equally, humans have sought, as long as there has been conflict, to handle conflict effectively by containing or reducing its negative consequences. This paper is an effort to understand some of the major theoretical perspectives of conflict resolution and conflict transformation. Since both the concepts are very important for giving us kind of understanding that how can we minimize the level and structures of conflicts and to create new avenues of cooperation and compatibility. This study tried to highlight the basic dichotomy between the two concepts. Any conflict can be resolved and transformed if the structure and relationship of the two conflicting parties are fully taken into consideration. Both theories diagnoses causes and sources of conflict and both can be used as methods for resolving and transforming different conflicts. Finally, this paper is the scholarly work for understanding the major differences as well as simillarities between conflict resolution and conflict transformation. KEY WORD: Conflict resolution, conflict transformation, causes of conflict, and conditions for peaceful resolution of conflict.IKHTISAR: Makalah ini berjudul “Resolusi Konflik dan Transformasi Konflik: Beberapa Refleksi”. Manusia terlibat dalam konflik, agresi, perang, dan kekerasan yang nampaknya berjalan seiring dengan kondisi manusia. Pada saat yang sama, manusia juga telah berusaha, sepanjang konflik itu ada, untuk menangani konflik secara efektif dengan mengisi atau mengurangi konsekuensi negatifnya. Makalah ini merupakan upaya untuk memahami beberapa perspektif teoritis utama tentang resolusi konflik dan transformasi konflik. Kedua konsep itu sangat penting untuk memberikan kita semacam pemahaman tentang bagaimana kita bisa meminimalkan tingkat dan struktur konflik serta menciptakan jalan baru bagi kerjasama dan kesesuaian. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk menyoroti dikotomi dasar antara dua konsep tersebut. Setiap konflik dapat diselesaikan dan diubah jika struktur dan hubungan kedua pihak yang berkonflik sepenuhnya dipertimbangkan. Kedua teori mendiagnosa penyebab dan sumber konflik dan keduanya dapat digunakan sebagai metode untuk menyelesaikan dan mengubah konflik yang berbeda. Abstract

ABSTRACT: Since time immemorial, the Muslim youth who obtained Madrasah education are in doldrums in a modern world. It’s accepted phenomenon that Madrasah had played a vital role in preaching the gospels of the great faith Islam. In the meanwhile, they dodged to keep their level with the modern education due to certain vincible hitches. At the threshold of the Islamic education, Muslim youth of Madrasahs are unable to have modern education because of which they become peregrinators. In addition, Madrasah people are following the age old syllabi, whereas they abstain themselves to opt for modern syllabi. Moreover, it’s a right time for the learned Muslims to ferret out the loopholes and pitfalls in the Madrasah education system whereby reformation and rejuvenation could be done. In order to bolster the Muslim youth to go for modern education, Madrasah people have to jettison the prejudices towards modern education and reckon the scientific education with the Islamic education. The assessment and assertion of this study is that Muslims should come forward to juxtapose Islamic education with modern education. KEY WORD: Madrasah education, modern education, Muslim society, India nation-state, and reform in education.IKHTISAR: Sudah sejak lama, para pemuda Muslim yang mendapatkan pendidikan Madrasah menjadi lesu di dunia modern. Adalah fenomena yang tak terbantahkan bahwa Madrasah memainkan peran yang sangat penting dalam mengajarkan keyakinan Islam. Sementara itu, mereka mengelak untuk mempertahankan level mereka dengan pendidikan modern dikarenakan rintangan tertentu. Pada awal pendidikan Islam, para pemuda Muslim dari Madrasah ini tidak mampu memiliki pendidikan modern dikarenakan mereka merupakan para musafir. Selain itu, orang-orang dari Madrasah ini mengikuti silabus lama, sementara mereka tidak mau memilih silabus modern. Maka, inilah waktu yang tepat bagi para Muslim yang belajar untuk menemukan jalan keluar dan perangkap dalam sistem pendidikan Madrasah dimana pembaharuan dan peremajaan dapat dilakukan. Untuk mendukung para pemuda Muslim melalui pendidikan modern, orang-orang Madrasah ini harus melepaskan prasangka terhadap pendidikan modern dan menggabungkan pendidikan ilmiah dengan pendidikan Islam. Abstract

ABSTRACT: E-learning is a technology which supports teaching and learning via a computer and the web technology. It bridges the gap between a teacher and a student in two different geographical locations. Advancement in internet and multimedia technology is the basic enable for e-learning. E-learning applications facilitate online access to learning content and administration. Despite much enthusiasm about the roles of technology in education, its role in transforming teacher learning, in ways aligned with advances in the learning sciences and contemporary socio-cultural perspectives, few changes have occurred. While many teacher educators are turning away from technology, after early attempts met with mitigated success, some are pushing the boundaries of teacher education and professional activity systems. This paper identifies and analyzes emerging trends and models in e-learning for teacher education and professional development from the developing research base, both international trends and current developments. Educational institutions and teaching staff have many benefits due to emergence of modern technology. Teachers have their own networks through which they connect themselves with other teachers across the globe. Institutions have web-supported classrooms. Similarly, it also enhanced the responsibilities of schools, colleges, and universities that should have such teachers who can produce such students, who after receiving their education can adjust themselves at any platform.KEY WORD: E-learning, higher education, multimedia technology, teaching and learning, networks, online access, and professional development.IKHTISAR: Artikel ini berjudul “Relevansi E-Learning di Perguruan Tinggi”. E-learning adalah teknologi yang mendukung pengajaran dan pembelajaran melalui komputer dan teknologi web. Ia menjembatani kesenjangan antara guru dan siswa di dua lokasi geografis yang berbeda. Kemajuan internet dan teknologi multimedia adalah kemampuan mendasar untuk e-learning. Aplikasi e-learning memfasilitasi akses online untuk konten dan administrasi pembelajaran. Meskipun banyak antusiasme tentang peran teknologi dalam pendidikan, perannya dalam mengubah pembelajaran guru, dengan menyelaraskan kemajuan ilmu pembelajaran dengan perspektif sosial-budaya kontemporer, masih sedikit perubahan telah terjadi. Sementara banyak pendidik guru yang berpaling dari teknologi, setelah upaya awal menemui kekurang-berhasilan, ada pula yang mendorong mengatasi batas-batas pendidikan guru dan sistem kegiatan profesional. Makalah ini mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis tren dan model dalam e-learning untuk pendidikan guru dan pengembangan profesional dari penelitian dasar dan pengembangan, baik secara tren internasional maupun perkembangan saat ini. Lembaga pendidikan dan staf pengajar memiliki banyak manfaat karena munculnya teknologi modern ini. Paru guru memiliki jaringan mereka sendiri di mana mereka dapat menghubungkan diri dengan guru-guru lain di seluruh dunia. Lembaga-lembaga memiliki ruang kelas berbasis web yang mendukung.
