Abstract

Anticipate the low price of chili. at the time of over production and avoid the occurrence ofdamage (rotten fruit quickly) and extend the shelf period and increase the added value of chili fruitin District Cenrana, which needs to be done is to look for alteratif diversification processed chilifruit, chili fruit not only sold in fresh fruit but need to be done processing on the fruit, for exampleprocessing chili into chili flour so that damage can be minimized and provide added value. Thepurpose of this activity is to train the chili farmers to make the chili powder. The method used isthe extension method and the demonstration of making chili powder, guidance and mentoring.Results achieved are Partners skilled in terms of cultivation of large organic chili with the use ofappropriate cultivation technology Partners know the importance of chili pepper diversificationduring over production.

Abstract

Techniques cultivation by farmers of papaya crop in the district Lamuru, highly variable, is not optimal and not yet fully apply the recommended technology innovation so that although productivity is not too low, but still need improvement management, especially the system of nutrient / fertilizer to plants. Along the loss of subsidized chemical fertilizer, chemical fertilizer scarcity and high prices in the market become an obstacle in fulfilling the needs of farmers papaya plant nutrients. Therefore, it is necessary to find alternative that function to chemical fertilizers and pesticides is more safe friendly for environmental. TechnologyPosidan-Ht (liquid organic fertilizers, natural pesticides, and growth hormone) is an alternative to chemical fertilizers and pesticides that are safe friendly for environmentally. Objectives and targets outcomes to be achieved from the activities science and technology for the public are: 1) the target output short term that will be produced are: (a) The famers skiled is cultivation of papaya with theuse proper cultivation technology application independently in the crop, (b) famers knows the importance of using posidan -ht, (c) The Famers partners were able to produce their own posidan-ht, (d) ) applying a solution of skilled posidan-ht independently in planting papaya, and 2) Target long-term outcomes that will be produced are: (a) the loss of partners dependence on fertilizer and chemical pesticides in the management of the papaya plant, (b) Provided papaya plants healthy without relying chemical fertilizers and pesticides,(c) Subdistrict Lamuru will Sentra be healthy Organic Papaya that have high bargaining value d) Formed new entrepreneurs who produce posidan- ht. Approach methods are offered to support the realization of the program consists of three methods, namely: 1). Participatory extension, (2) Training (demonstrations and practice activities by participants), (3) Mentoring, coaching the participants by the implementation team, and (4) mentoring methods.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the use of biological liquid fertilizer on the growth of robusta coffee plants. Conducted at the experimental farm of Estate Crops Cultivation Department of PangkepState Polytechnic of Agriculture, which lasted for 3 months. The study used a Randomized Block Design with treatments as follows: concentration of fertilizer 100 ml, concentration of 150 ml, and concentration of 200 ml. Based on the experimental results obtained, it can be concluded that application of the different concentration of the biological liquid fertilizer gave insignificant effects on the growth of the three-months-old robusta coffee seeds. The application of the fertilizer 200 ml resulted in the highest average of plant height (6.25 cm)and stem diameter (0.13cm).  Concentration of 100 ml of the fertilizer produced the highest average number of leaves (7 leaves). Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pupuk cair hayati terhadap pertumbuhan bibit tanaman kopi robusta. Dilaksanakan di kebun  percobaan Jurusan Budidaya Tanaman Perkebunan Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Pangkap, yang berlangsung selama 3 bulan. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan perlakuan: konsentrasi pupuk100 ml, konsentrasi 150 ml, dan konsentrasi 200 ml. Berdasarkan hasil percobaan yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian berbagai konsentrasi pupuk cair hayati memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda tidak nyata terhadap pertumbuhan bibit tanaman kopi robusta yang telah berumur 3 bulan. Pemberian pupuk dengan konsentrasi 200 ml menghasilkan pertumbuhan rata-rata tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang terbaik yaitu rata-rata tinggi tanaman 6,25 cm dan rata-rata diameter batang 0,13 cm. Pemberian pupukdengankonsentrasi 100 ml menghasilkan rata-rata jumlah daun yang terbanyak yaitu 7 helai.
