Abstract

Se'i/nu is one of the traditions of the local community on the island of Timor. The research objective was to prove the relationship between the roasting tradition (se'i/nu) with the hemoglobin level and the process of uterine involution in postpartum women. The research design was analytical with an observational approach. The sample consisted of 42 respondents obtained through total sampling. The independent variable was the roasting tradition (se’i/nu) and the dependent variables were hemoglobin level and maternal uterine involution. The method used to measure the roasting tradition (se’i/nu) was an observation sheet. To measure the hemoglobin level, we used a laboratory check and to measure uterine involution, we conducted a physical examination and used an observation sheet. The results showed that the largest percentage of hemoglobin levels in postpartum mothers was among those that did the roasting tradition (se'i/nu) with an abnormal hemoglobin level of 66.66% (22 people). The puerperal women who did the tradition of roasting (se'i/nu) obtained high uterine fundus and the abnormal mothers made up the largest percentage of 69.70% (23 people). There was a correlation between the roasting tradition (se'i/nu) and maternal hemoglobin level (p=0.025) and there was also a correlation between the roasting tradition (se'i/ nu) with the process of maternal uterine involution (0.00). The conclusion is that there is a prolonged uterine involution process and that the low hemoglobin levels in the puerperium may be due to exposure to chemical susceptibility as a result of inhaling polluted air due to the se'i/nu process.

Abstract

Background: Understanding and skills of CPR are very important to be applied correctly and correctly, especially the understanding and skills that must be possessed by all health workers, including nurses. At this time, one of the skills that must be possessed by nursing students before becoming a professional nurse is cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). To achieve this ability, appropriate learning methods are needed, one of which is using the audiovisual method. Method: The search for relevant articles or journals is carried out using a database through Google Scholar, Google Scholar, and Pubmed Central (PMC) in the period 2010-2020. The results of the search found 15 articles using nursing interventions but only 12 articles that met the inclusion criteria, namely according to the keywords. The analysis of these 12 journals was carried out based on the design, population, sample, sampling, parameters and conclusions sections. Results From the literature study that has been carried out on research or writing on the same topic, it can be seen that the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) video learning media greatly influences the improvement of skills in nursing students. recall, it will tend to disappear over time. Conclusion: With this, learning media using video can remind what they have learned and can be played over and over again so that they are able to improve the skills of these nursing students

Abstract

The community of postoperative femur fracture patients are often afraid to move because of pain or fear that the bones cannot be properly connected so that they limit activities that result in swelling in the operation area. Postoperative femur plating patients in the room often experience edema because after surgery they just lie down without muscle training therapy and reduce physical comfort in postoperative patients. The purpose of this study is the difference before and after early mobilization. This study used a pre-experimental research design one group pre post test design. The population was femoral pot op plating patients in Bougenvile Hospital. TK.II Dr. Soepraoen Malang with a sample of 30 respondents. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. Collecting data using questionnaires and observations and analyzed using Wilcoxon statistical test. The results showed that most of the respondents before giving the mobilization experienced sufficient discomfort 17 (56.7%), almost all respondents after giving the mobilization experienced moderate discomfort as many as 21 (70%). From the results of the statistical test p value 0,000 means that Ho is rejected, so the conclusion is that there is an effect of mobilization on physical comfort in post op plating femure patients in the Boegenvile Room, RS.TK.II Dr. Soepraoen Malang. Mobilization improves air circulation and improves blood circulation in the post op area thereby increasing comfort
