Abstract

Buku yang ditulis al-Makin, dosen UIN Yogya, jebolan Universitas Heidelberg,Jerman (2008) ini, menarik untuk dibaca, dikaji bahkan dikembangkanmenjadi riset lanjutan, baik bagi sang Penulis sendiri maupun bagi yangmembacanya. Secara kontekstual, karya ini amat relevan dengan munculnyaberbagai dinamika sosial politik, budaya hingga agama akhir-akhir ini. Hadirnyabuku ini bagaikan oase bagi mayoritas masyarakat yang haus dengan indahnyaperdamaian di tengah pluralitas sosial yang ada. Sejauh ini, Penulis berasumsibahwa realitas masyarakat Indonesia – bahkan dunia – yang palural ini belumbanyak diperkaya dengan dukungan kajian teoritik keilmuan tentang pentingnyamemahami fenomena perbedaan masyarakat, baik secara ontologis maupunepistemologis (dengan berbagai variannya).

Abstract

The teacher should have a steady, stable, adult, wise, and authoritative personality competence, be an example for learners, and have a noble character, but in reality, his personality competence is still low and still far from the personality that teachers should have. The authors offer an alternative solution with the Islamic psychology approach that is Tazkiyatun nafs that can be used as a basis of teacher personality strengthening. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach and literature or library research. The essence of tazkiyatun nafs tends to talk about the soul (an-nafs). It is a process of purification of the human soul from the impurities, both visible dirt and inner dirt. Therefore, the notion of tazkiyatun nafs is closely related to morals and psychology, and in Islam, it serves as a pattern of human formation of good character and cautious to Allah. In this study, the authors found some of the following findings. First, the growth of one's personality is influenced by factors from within that is the integration of elements of aql (mind), qalb (heart), lust and outside factors such as the process of interaction with the environment. Second, the soul is very functional to one's personality. A clean soul will produce good behavior while a dirty soul will result in a low or weak personality.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hasil, evaluasi, faktor yang mendukung dan faktor yang menghambat pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur’an dengan metode Ijtahid Fi al-Qira’ah di Pondok Pesantren Ar-Ruhamaa’ Playen Gunungkidul. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, Informan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 5 orang yang ditentukan dengan Purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dan dianalisis dengan mengorganisasikan data, pengelompokan data, menguji asumsi, mencari alternatif jawaban dan menulis hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur’an dengan metode Ijtahid Fi al-Qira’ah telah ditetapkan dalam kurikulum, membuat jurnal (buku catatan perkembagan santri), menulis capaian atau perkembangan santri, menetapkan target sasaran, merumuskan tujuan dan mengatur jadwal pertmuan, pelaksanaan 3 kali dalam seminggu dengan komposisi 5 santri 1 guru/ustad. Waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan kitab Ijtahid Fi al-Qira’ah selama 3-4 bulan. Hasil analisis diperoleh 65% santri memiliki kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an dalam kategori baik, evaluasi  dalam pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur’an dengan metode Ijtahid Fi al-Qira’ah dilaksanakan setiap jam pelajaran yaitu 3 kali dalam satu minggu, evaluasi dilakukan dalam bentuk tes kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an, catatan evaluasi juga di lakukan dengan cara tertulis dengan faktor pendukung SDM pengajar yang profesional dengan penghambat adalah keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran. AbstractThe purpose of this research is to find out the planning, implementation, result, evaluation, supporting and inhibiting factors of Al-Qur’an recitation learning with the method of Ijtihad Fi al-Qira’ah in Ar-Ruhamaa’ Islamic Boarding School Playen Gunung Kidul. The research method was qualitative descriptive with case study approach. There were 5 informants in this research, selected through purposive sampling. The data collection method was using observation, interview and documentation, and then it was analyzed through data organization, data grouping, assumption testing, alternative-answer seeking, and research result writing. The research result shows that the planning of the Al-Qur’an recitation learning with the method of Ijtihad Fi al-Qira’ah has been embedded within the curriculum, students’ development journal, students’ development report, target establishment, goal formulation, and meeting schedule arrangement. It has been implemented three times per week with the composition of 5 students and 1 teacher. The time allocation needed for the Ijtihad Fi Al-Qira’ah is 3 – 4 months. The analysis result shows that 65 % of the students have good Al-Qur’an recitation skill. The evaluation of the Al-Qur’an recitation learning using Ijtihad Fi Al-Qira’ah has been conducted every learning hour, which is three times per week, the evaluation has been done in the form of Al-Qur’an recitation skill test. Abstract

The research has the effort to know a behavior of LGBT in Pesantren. The assumption until now, Pesantren was innocent and be the free zone of LGBT. This research is using qualitative and ethnomethodology’ approach. The location of research is in Pesantren Salafiyyah Kyai Kholil Bangkalan Madura, that old Pesantren Salafiyah in Madura. The other Pesantren is Pesantren Al-Hikam Bangkalan Madura that old Pesantren Khalafiyah in Madura. The results of research are; First, kinds of behavior that indicate LGBT in Pesantren are (1) kakak-adikan, kobel, mojok, kelon. The Second, the efforts from two pesantren are same handling based cognitive, spiritual and physical. The handling in Pesantren Salafiyyah Kyai Kholil Bangkalan, are three enhance; (1) period beginning of kesantrian (2) period of unification santri (3) period the end of kesantrian. The handling in Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikam with several methods; (1) assessment of kitab method (2) punishment method (3) counseling method (4) assessment and enlightenment method (5) supervision without served.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the relationship between the teacher and the congregation of the Naqsabandiyah in local political action and their relationship with local political elites. This study uses a qualitative approach that aims to interpret a case that will be carefully examined and analyzed using periodic descriptive analysis methods. The results of this study indicate that the pattern of relations between teachers and congregation of the Naqsabandiyah groups in local political action in Rokan Hulu Regency tends to be more accommodating to the authorities, where the political orientation of this group has undergone a transition from traditional to rational action with its own political choices. Then, the relationship between the group and local political elites in socio-religious practices has confirmed the existence of a very strong religious and political relationship, where the Naqsabandiyah sees Achmad (local political elite) as a group representation traced from the existence of kinship ties.

Abstract

The thought of Islamic politics which develops in Indonesia recently has various epistemology, either being viewed from the discourse of Islamic politics conveyed by Muslim politicians, or what contained on the basic stipulation/bylaws (AD/ART) of each party. It is a kind of plurality of Islamic political thought which is less influenced by the frame of Islamic political epistemology itself and by Islamic political paradigm which develops in Indonesia that has textual-idealistic, realistic and integral patterns. To further investigate the problem, the focus of this research was how is an ideal reconstruction of the contemporary thought of Indonesian Islamic politics? The results of the research showed that the epistemology frame of Islamic political thought that has classical and mid century pattern should be reconstructed suitable with the context of social life of 21st century, in which the interaction among Muslim community or non Muslim community has been closer each other. Of course, it needs a new theology of Islamic politics which is more tolerant and pluralistic, therefore, issues of contemporary politics related to the concept of hudûd, gender problem, muslim-non muslim positions, concept of dãrulharb, human rights, citizenship, a new relation pattern between Islam and the West, response of political philosophy on postmodernism and other issues can be responded and implemented according to the principle of Islamic politics.

Abstract

This article discusses about M. Amin Abdullah’s thought (A professor at StateIslamic University Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta) in the field of Islamic Studies. The methodused in this paper is biographical-reflective method because the writer was his student.The focus of the writing is the heredity of the scientific methodology and its implication inthe study of Islam in Indonesia. This article concludes several Islamic scientific hereditiesfrom M Amin Abdullah majoring on the integrative-interconnectivity concept in Islamthat tends to be spaced out, especially in the study of Islamic classics. The other thoughtis about the importance of academic attitude in the development of the future Islamicstudy. In the scientific methodology aspect, he stresses the importance of the renewal inthe Islamic contemporary study to spread the teachings on the earth as the sky heredity,sacral and transcendental, to dive the needs to answer various worldly problems that areempiric and immanent. The implication of Amin Abdullah’s thought gives newinterpretation in the contemporary Islamic scientific study that is more contextualempiricaland different from textual-normative classic Islamic study format.Key Words: integration-interconnection; scientific methodology; Islamic study.Makalah ini membahas tentang pemikiran M. Amin Abdullah umumnyabermuara pada konsep integrasi-interkoneksi keilmuan dalam Islam yang selama inicenderung berjarak, khususnya dalam warisan studi keislaman klasik. Pemikiran lainnyaadalah tentang pentingnya sikap akademis dalam pengembangan studi keislaman masadepan. Dalam aspek metodologi keilmuan, beliau menekankan pentingnya pembaharuandalam studi keislaman kontemporer untuk membumikan ajaran Islam sebagai warisanlangit, sakral dan transendental, menukik pada kebutuhan untuk menjawab berbagaipersoalan duniawi yang empiris dan imanen. Implikasi pemikiran Amin Abdullah adalahmemberikan interpretasi baru studi keilmuan Islam kontemporer yang lebih kontekstualempiris,yang berbeda dengan format studi keislaman klasik yang tekstual-normatif.Kata Kunci: Amin Abdullah, metodologi keilmuan, studi Islam.

Abstract

The concept of authority and dominance bore political intrigues among Muslimcommunity throughout the history. The two concepts bore creative tense between Islamicpolitics that had Makkiyah characteristics that was myth-theological and Maddaniyah onethat was rational. After the prophet and the expansion of Islam, the Islamic dominancetended to be tyrannical. The application of the authority and dominance bore Islamicgovernment style that was repressive ((qawãn)n siyãsiyyah) andrational (siyãsah ‘aqliyyah)also the government stylethat had religious characteristics or caliphate (siyãsah diniyyah).WhileAsy-Syãtibi focused more on political dimension that had orientation on maqãþidasy-syari’ah and maslahah ‘ãmmah aspects. The next step emerged various interpretationsabout imamah, wilayah, khilafah, ummah, syura, amir concepts up to bai’ah and jihad. Inpsychological-sociological manner, the sacred dominance became unhindered.Key words: Caliphate, Imamah, Amir, Wilayatul Faqih, Syuradan Nation StateKonsep wewenang dan kekuasaan melahirkan intrik politik di kalangan umatsepanjang sejarah. Abstract

In the Indonesian context, tarekat is seen as a social movement with a broad impact. Its existence and activity need to be paid attention to by the State, society, and other political infrastructure. Many experts have carried out the discourse on tarekat with various points of view. This study focuses on the socio-political sphere of tarekat and its movements in local Indonesian politics after the Soeharto Era using a qualitative approach with interpretive data analysis involving the informants who understand the tarekat activity in Rokan Hulu in depth. The emergence of spiritual organs with various ideological variants, visions, and missions indicates the strengthening of civil supremacy in Indonesia. As part of a religious civil society organization, the Naqsyabandiyah order can grow and exert a strong influence on the dynamics of Indonesian local democracy, especially in Rokan Hulu - Riau. The existence of this movement strengthens Bruinessen's argument about the tarekat as a "storehouse of sounds," whose symbolization of motion is described by the gesture and commands of the teacher. After the New Order, there was a shift in the political orientation of this group; the nature of taqlid to master teachers was only for religious matters, while on political issues, there was a shift in direction that was more directed at the individual interests of the congregation. Even so, the Naqsyabandiyah Rokan Hulu tarekat could still maintain its existence and political power.

Abstract

ABSTRAKVirus game online menjadi salah satu momok yang menakutkan bagi para orang tua. Virus ini memiliki pengaruh yang menjadikan anak-anak kecanduan dimana hal tersebut mengarah pada fase merusak dan menenggelamkan masa depan anak. Oleh karenanya upaya-upaya pencegahan dan peminimalisiran perilaku candu game online harus diberdayakan sejak dini, dengan diadakannya program-program kegiatan berbasis pendidikan dan pencegahan virus game online. Program kemitraan masyarakat dilaksanakan di madrasah ibtidaiyah dikarenakan  pencegahan dan pemahaman sejak dini kepada para peserta didik di level dasar akan semakin baik. Pengabdian Kemitraan Masyarakat yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan sadar dini terkait adanya virus game online dilaksanakan di madrasah Ibtidaiyah Madureso, Kecamatan Kuwarasan Kabupaten Kebumen.. Pengabdian tersebut berupa: Pertama,Sosialisasi kepada para guru/asatidz terkait pendidikan sadar virus game online yang berjumlah 25 orang. Kedua,  memberi penyadaran dan pemahaman tentang virus game online dengan mendongeng  kepada siswa kelas IV sampai kelas VI. Ketiga, mengadakan lomba poster bertemakan  bebas virus game online bagi para peserta didik dan  Keempat, membuat slogan-slogan anti virus game online bagi para peserta didik. Harapannya, dengan adanya pengabdian kemitraan masyarakat ini, Ibtidaiyah Madureso Kecamatan Kuwarasan, Kabupaten  Kebumen akan benar-benar terbebas dari perilaku siswa didik yang mengarah pada kecanduan game online. Kata kunci: game online; pengabdian kemitraan masyarakat; madrasah ibtidaiyah muhammadiyah         madureso kuwarasan kebumen ABSTRACTOnline game viruses have become a frightening specter for parents. This virus has an effect that makes children addicted which leads to a destructive phase and drowns out the child's future. Efforts to prevent and minimize the addictive behavior of online games must be empowered from early stage, with the implementation of educational-based activity programs and online game virus prevention. The community partnership program is implemented in madrasah ibtidaiyah because early prevention and understanding of students at the basic level will be better. Community Partnership Services related to early awareness education related to online game viruses were carried out at Madureso Ibtidaiyah madrasah, Kuwarasan District, Kebumen Regency. The dedication is: First, socialization to teachers or asatidz related to online game virus awareness education, amounting to 25 people, Second is providing awareness and understanding of online game viruses by storytelling to grade IV to grade VI students. Third is holding a virus-free online game themed poster competition for students and fourth, making anti-virus online game slogans for students. The hope is, with this community service dedication, Ibtidaiyah Madureso, Kuwarasan District, Kebumen Regency will be completely free from student behavior that leads from online game addiction. Keywords: online game; community partnership dedication; madrasah ibtidaiyah muhammadiyah madureso kuwarasan kebumen
