Abstract

Utilization of Gen-set Hibrid Photovoltaik-Diesel (DC-AC Couple Battery-Backup Grid Connecting PV System) is a efforts to minimization operational  cost from Stick held dipnet. This case is caused by diesel fuel which has higher price and rare. This article will discuss about analysis approach as first, calculate impact need of lighting toward rate of catching phototaxis fish. This case use analysis different test (test of t) toward output of optimum catching use 4 underwater lamps which have different of kind. The porpose from this case to analysis genset diesel capacity by usage optimum power of lighting. The method will be used is calculating instrumentation load factor, synchronic factor, and load of genset factor as standart of BKI. Based on monitoring, selected under water lamp E-CDL 45 W is real different (tcalculate3,4355>ttable2,776) which has more optimum catching of fish (6960 Kg) than others. Based on calculating needed daily load capacity 2530 W. It mean the capacity of Genset Hibrid PV array-Diesel 34020 Wh, appropriate with Samate water condition which has low and high temperature (27,1o C and 31,8o C) needed 15 PV-modul @200 W (the voltage and electric current source of PV array 100 Vdc and 31,6 A), bank battery 14 units @200 AH/12 V which has output voltage is 24 Vdc, 2 units charge controller (@current input 15 A), 1 unit inverter (voltage input 24 Vdc/output 240 Vac and 3000W), battery charger (input 240 Vac/output 24 Vdc), and MCB (standby load : single phase 220 Vac) 15 A Busbar 45 A. Ecomonic analysis use Life Cycle Cost (LCC) method toward genset (diesel and Hibrid PV array-diesel). From the calculating, nominal of LCC genset Hibrid PV array-Diesel (Rp.173.421.297,-) lower or cheaper than LCC genset diesel (Rp.223.715.493,-). The net from this case is Rp.50.294.196,- which got for 20 years instrumentations usage. The last discuss about calculating distance between stick held dipnet and area which can reached to outside lighting lamp (E-CDL 50 W) at height 5 meters toward surface of sea water is 235 m2.

Abstract

Cadangan Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) khususnya bensin semakin berkurang dan tidak dapat diperbarui lagi sementara kebutuhan semakin bertambah dan akan berdampak pada krisis energi. Penelitian ini mengkaji penggunaan Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) sebagai bahan bakar alternatif pengganti BBM jenis bensin untuk mengoperasikan motor bensin siklus empat langkah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan memodifikasi pada bagian karburator menjadi saluran masuk untuk gas LPG. Percobaan yang dilakukan meliputi uji operasional, uji ketahanan operasi yang dilakukan hingga 100 jam operasi dengan memberikan variasi jumlah bahan bakar yang diberikan sebesar 3 Psi dan 4 Psi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa LPG jenis campuran dapat digunakan sebagai bahan bakar alternatif pengganti BBM jenis bensin 4 tak.

Abstract

Abstract— Electrical energy on fishing vessels is an unavoidable energy requirement, the electric source on board is obtained from an electric generator which is generally driven by a diesel engine. Electrical energy on fishing vessel is used for lighting, navigation purposes and assisting fishing activities to loading and unloading. The electric generator on fishing vessel will operate properly and have a long service life if the load applied to the generator does not exceed the load factor limit. Researchers carried out several stages, i.e: identify the electric power distribution system, identify the generator capacity and electrical load received, calculate the electrical load on different operational conditions. In this study, it is also known that the operating efficiency of the generator under four different operational conditions. The results of the research, this fishing vessel uses a radial electrical distribution system; using two units of electric generator with identical specifications, each has a capacity of 225 kVA; the generator operates efficiently in all operational conditions with a load factor of 79.70% to 83.08%.

Abstract

Desain fall block yang berat akan menambah beban kerja crane saat operasi, selain itu juga menambah beban diatas dek kapal yang akan sangat berpengaruh terhadap stabilitas kapal, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan kajian untuk mengurangi berat blok sehingga kinerja crane lebih optimal untuk mengangkat beban. Optimasi topologi telah sukses dalam beberapa dekade terakhir, metode analisis elemen hingga (FEA) dan studi eksperimental telah dilakukan dalam menyelidiki dan mengoptimalkan struktur lambung kapal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan desain fall block dengan berat yang ringan dengan mempertahankan kekakuaan strukturnya. Optimasi topologi dilakukan menggunakan perangkat SolidWorks Simulation yang berbasis metode elemen hingga, yang selanjutnya akan dapat dibandingkan perubahan berat desain awal  dengan desain hasil optimasi serta perubahan tegangan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan optimasi. Dari hasil optimasi topologi didapatkan penurunan massa sebesar 15.21 % dengan berat menjadi 338.54 kg. Selain itu tegangan Von Mises maksimum pada variasi turun 1.24%  menjadi 26.22 MPa. Akibat dari turunya nilai tegangan tersebut membuat nilai safety factor meningkat 1.25 % dari desain awal menjadi 9.53 yang dapat dikatakan nilai tegangan yang terjadi di desain baru masih dinyatakan aman.

Abstract

The price of feed is one of the biggest contributors to production costs in fish farming. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge and skills on manufacturing independently fish pellet machines for the the tilapia farmer community in Klawasi village. The training is carried out by providing theoretical material about independent feed and pellet machine design as well as the practice of assembling pellet machine components and operating to test the performance of the pellet machine. The training was held at the Politeknik Kelutan dan Perikanan Sorong and was attended by 10 participants from the tilapia farmer community. The result of the training output is the production of two fish pellet machines that are ready to operate. The results of the satisfaction survey showed that 80% of participants strongly agreed about the good implementation of the training activities.

Abstract

Handwashing tool is one of the facilities that must be provided by places of worship as an effort to implement health protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19. This community service aims to provide knowledge and skills to worshipers in places of worship to make handwashing tools independently. Service activities are carried out by providing training on the manufacture of pedal-type handwashing tools so that they can be applied at the GKI Immanuel church and the Nurul Salam mosque, Supra Village, Sorong City. The theory and practice of making handwashing tools were given to training participants at the Manufacturing Workshop, Politeknik Kelautan dan Perikanan Sorong. Pre and post-tests are used to evaluate the implementation of the training. The number of correct answers to the pre and post-test questions given to participants increased from 12.86% to 82.86%.

Abstract

The lack of competence of Sorong Marine and Fisheries Polytechnic cadets in the field of drawing techniques is one of the causes of the low absorption of graduates in the field of engineering, where the Fisheries Mechanization study program has a curriculum syllabus that is suitable for various engineering industries such as shipbuilding, food processing machinery, ship machinery factories, fishing gear factory, pump factory. While the technical drawing courses taught in the fishery mechanization study program are still limited to manual drawings with paper, as well as tasks in other courses in the form of drawings are also still carried out by manual drawing processes, while technical drawings in industry require accuracy and speed which are difficult to rely on. manual drawing techniques. AutoCad software is one of the computer applications that is considered very effective as a tool in learning and improving students' understanding of technical drawing. Activation of the legal licensed AutoCAD software is expensive, so in this Community Service activity, the AutoCad free Student License activation is carried out, in addition to providing an increase in the soft skills of cadets. The stages of activities in this PKM are: computer inventory in the KP Sorong Polytechnic Computer laboratory, registering the official Autocad student version license for computers in the KP Sorong Polytechnic Computer laboratory, installation & activation of Autocad software on computers in the KP Sorong Polytechnic Computer laboratory, Autocad training for cadets Fisheries Mechanization Study Program KP Sorong Polytechnic, and evaluation of Autocad training for cadets of the Fisheries Mechanization Study Program at KP Sorong Polytechnic. The results achieved are the activation of the AutoCad software with a student license on 34 computers in the computer and telematics lab of the KP Sorong Polytechnic, as well as the improvement in the soft skills of cadets in making shop drawings that can be measured through evaluation, namely as many as 13 cadets passed the training with 8 cadets getting value over 75.
