Abstract

Deteksi hiperkolestrolemia dapat dilakukan melalui penafsiran profil lipid pasien. Untuk dapat mencegahnya maka tenaga kesehatan di Puskesmas harus dapat mendeteksi hiperkolestrolemia. Pelatihan mengenai penafsiran penafsiran profil lipid perlu dilakukan bagi para tenaga kesehatan analis sebagai deteksi dini hiperkolstrolemia. Peserta dari kegiatan ini adalah tenaga kesehatan analis perwakilan dari puskesmas di Kota Palembang. Jumlah peserta sebanyak 20 analis kesehatan yang berasal dari Puskesmas di Kota Palembang. Metode kegiatan dengan penyajian materi kegiatan, pelatihan untuk meningkatan kemampuan analis kesehatan dalam penafsiran profil lipid sebagai upaya preventif hiperkolestrolemia serta praktek langsung cara pengoperasian software penafsiran profil lipid. Alat yang digunakan adalah software penafsiran profil lipid. Soft ware ini dapat menafsirkan trigliserida, LDL dan HDL dari kolestrol total yang diketahui. Rancangan evaluasi yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini menggunaka model evaluasi tes tulis. Berdasarkan uji T independen, maka diperoleh p value 0,01 (p value < 0,05). Artinya, terdapat perbedaan rerata antara nilai pretest dan postest sehingga pemberian pelatihan penafsiran profil lipid (prediksi hiperkolestrolemia) dapat dipahami dengan baik oleh para tenaga kesehatan analis. Pelatihan penafsiran profil lipid (deteksi hiperkolestrolemia) pada tenaga kesehatan analis di Kota Palembang dapat meningkatkan kemampuannya untuk menafsirkan profil lipid sebagai upaya preventif Hiperkolestrolemia. Sehingga para tenaga kesehatan analisis dapat melakukan upaya early diagnosis hiperkolestrolemia pada pasien di instansi masing-masing.

Abstract

COVID-19 cases in Indonesia are still quite high. However, community mobility continues to increase. If in a family there is a vulnerable and / or comorbid age group, it will certainly be increasingly threatened when a productive family member leaves the house but is negligent in implementing health protocols. People who live in market areas, of course, are in direct contact with high economic activities and of course also indicate high mobility. The purpose of this activity is to increase family awareness of COVID-19 transmission in vulnerable communities with comorbidities. The target audience for this community service activity is 31 people who live in the Jakabaring Main Market area of ​​Palembang City. This community service activity results in an increase in knowledge about the importance of health protocols that are carried out in a disciplined and correct manner. This health protocol is carried out in order to protect each other starting from the family and for the community, especially for vulnerable communities. Apart from home visiting activities, the construction of hand washing facilities will also be used by the surrounding community and at the same time become a symbol to remind that washing hands with soap in running water is not only an obligation of the health protocol for preventing COVID-19 but will also save many lives from various threats of other infectious diseases.

Abstract

Self-medication is usually used by the community to treat minor illnesses, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, such as fever, dizziness, cough, flu, pain, ulcers, diarrhea, and others. Most self-medication leads to inappropriate drug use. Self-medicated knowledge is the key to prevent unwanted events, one of the example is by providing education about traditional medicine for self-medication. In addition, making a plantation pharmacy is also a solution to make it easier for people to obtain traditional medicines. The method of implementing this community service activity is to provide counseling on using traditional medicine for self-medication and planting pharmacy plantation. An overview of knowledge of traditional medicine for self-medication in the community in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic is descriptive research by looking at primary data (from questionnaires) taken in a cross-sectional manner. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that most people have a sufficient level of knowledge (59.09%). The community has a positive attitude towards traditional medicine self-medication as evidenced by the number of respondents who answered agree from these statements. Therefore, research can be carried out as well as counseling, education and health promotion to society with a larger sample.
