Abstract

The purpose of this study  is to know the Road Safety Partnership Action Program Police Goes To School at SMAN 6 and SMK Pembangunan in Bogor City.The theory used in this research is by using policy evaluation from William N. Dunn which stating that to measure the success of an evaluation of the program can be measured through six variables: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and appropriateness. The method used is descriptive analysis using quantitative approach. Data analysis technique used is by using the calculation of Weight Mean Score (WMS). Data collection techniques used are literature studies and field studies. The study population are 1,857 students from two schools. While the sampling technique used is proportionate stratified random sampling (stratified proportional). The samples using Yamane formula thus obtained sample are 180 respondents.The results of Program Evaluation Research Road Safety Partnership Action Police Goes To School in SMA 6 and SMK Pembangunan Bogor City obtained a score of 3.64 (in scale of 5) which, according to the interpretation of the criteria that are in “good” categories, although it is still the number of violations that occurred among students. This happens due to the lack of awareness of students in traffic, do not care about the safety and ignore the socialization conducted by the police about the ethics of a good drive to support traffic safety and reduce the number of traffic violations or accidents. Efforts are being made to address the problem is by imposing preventive methods (prevention) and applying repressive methods (in applying force). Keywords: Evaluation, Program, Violation

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the influence of implementation of Law No.22 of 2009 in its influence on the discipline of public transportation drivers in the city of Bogor, how a causal effect on the implementation of Law No. 22 of 2009 on the LLAJ. The method used in this research is associative. The research aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables. With this research it will be constructed a theory that could serve to explain, predict, and control a symptom. For data analysis used the formula Weight Mean Score (WMS). Population employee who becomes the object of observation of 70 people and the population of the city transport driver and the driver as much as 3412 to determine the sample size used Yamane formula so that the number of samples used to 41 employees and 97 DLLAJ transport drivers in the city of Bogor. To search for correlation using Spearman Rank Correlation formulas with the help of calculations using SPSS software version 20.0.The results showed Effect of Implementation of Law No. 22 of 2009 on the Discipline of public transportation drivers in the city of Bogor was pretty good. It can be seen that the significance of 0.000 is less than 0.05, the null hypothesis is rejected, the conclusion that there is a close and meaningful relationship between the application of Law No. 22 of 2009 Implementation of the Work Discipline driver of public transportation in the city of Bogor. Of the output data obtained Spearmans rho correlation coefficient of 0.919. Because the value is closer to 1, the relationship between the implementation of the Work Discipline is strong. Rank too high a value on the positive and that is equal to 0.680. The value of the coefficient is positive (+), meaning that if higher then Item Implementation Work Discipline will increase if Item Implementation of high or low it will affect the Work Discipline low as well. The relationship between the implementation of the Work Discipline significant influence (strong).  Keywords: Implementation, Discipline, Public Transportation, Transportation Management

Abstract

A good governance is a government that carries out the best service in managing various types of services that exist in government institutions. The purpose of this study is finding out the relationship between the quality of yellow card service (AK1) service and community satisfaction in Manpower and Transmigration Service office of Bogor. This study used the theory of service quality from Zeithhaml, Parasuraman & Berry. The research method used descriptive method using quantitative. Data acquisition through Literature Study and Field Study. Meanwhile the data analysis technique uses Weight Mean Score (WMS) calculation. In collecting data using incidental sampling technique with the formula taro yamane with a population of service users as many as 122 people, a sample of 55 respondents. The results obtained by the assessment rate is 4.29 with a very good assessment of the results of the questionnaire processing of 55 respondents, this means that the overall service quality has been very good but there are still some shortcomings felt by users of this service as evidenced by the assessment among other dimensions because Inadequate and organized factors in the waiting room are also inadequate. Finally, the researchers suggested that there should be a focus on improving facilities and infrastructure in the yellow card service department, also expected to be able to make the latest innovations that can captivate people, good innovation is certainly the hope of many people, Researchers advice is for the agency to create an Information Base and Job seeker data becomes one place in the application where the job market application can be accessed by the community itself.Keywords: Service Quality, Repairs, Facilities and Infrastructure

Abstract

Traffic Jam is a major problem many cities in Indonesia, including in Bogor city. Traffic Jam in Bogor city  is almost equal to the capital city of Jakarta. There are many factors that caused traffic jam in Bogor. In addition to the number of population is increasing,  mobility of the population is also quite high. The purpose of this study was to determine employees performance of Department of Traffic and road transportation Bogor in handling of traffic jam. The method used in this research is survey method with quantitative approach. The results showed that the views of the dimensions of productivity, quality of service, responsiveness, responsibility, and accountability are very good category. Although the results of employee respondents considered that the assessment of employee performance has been very good, but in the view of the driver, passengers and road users were different. They noticed that traffic jam in Bogor City can not be addressed properly. Key words: Traffic Jam, Performance Employee, Service quality.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the evaluation of Local Regulation of Bogor City Number 12 Year of 2009 about Non-Smoking Area (Case Study of the implementation of Non-Smoking Area in High School around Bogor City).The theory used in this research is policy evaluation theory proposed by William Dunn. According to Dunn to evaluate a policy there are six dimensions that can be used namely effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and appropriateness.Method used in this research is quantitative method. Data collecting method used in this research are literature study and field study. Meanwhile, population in this study are Headmaster, Head of Administration Office, and Head of OSIS (Student Organization of Intra-School) in High School. The number of sample choosed are 30 respondents based on purposive sampling method.Based on evaluation reveals that the implementation of Local Regulation of Bogor City Number 12 Year of 2009 about Non-Smoking Area yield a score of  3,50, that means “good” in criteria. Reffering to six dimensions of, effectiveness, responsiveness, and appropriateness are “good” in category. On the other hand, efficiency, adequacy, and equity are dimensions with “moderate” in category. Key word : Leadership, Performance, employees

Abstract

Increasing public demand is a logical consequence of the increasingly complex needs of the community on various matters, especially on service. On the other hand in line with one of the paradigms of government administration, namely Public Service (public service) government has an obligation to improve the quality of service that aims to the satisfaction of the community (driven customer).The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of the service of IMB (Building Permit), especially apparatus or human resources in charge of granting permission in East Bogor Subdistrict and To know the implementation of Building Construction Permit (IMB) in increasing the Original Revenue in Bogor Sub- East. The theory used in this research is by using service quality theory from Sinambela (2010) that is transparent, accountability, conditional, participative, equality of rights, balance of rights and obligation.The method used is descriptive analysis using Qualitative approach. While the data analysis technique used is by using the calculation of Weight Mean Score (WMS) and correlation coefficient rank spearman.Teknik data collection used is the study of literature and field studies. The unit of analysis of this study amounted to 30 Informants. While the sampling technique used is Accidental Sampling technique.The results of the Implementation of the Granting of Building Permit is done by referring to the Decision of the Governor of West Java Province No. 76 of 2000 on the procedure of obtaining IMB, IPB and KMB in the province of West Java and West Java Provincial Regulation No. 7 of 2010 About Building Buildings. Keywords: Quality of Kecamatan service, Building Permit (IMB), and Increased local revenue

Abstract

The employee work enthusiasm come up from the lack of leadership adopted a leader in an organization to achieve its objectives optimally, so that leaders were able to move their subordinates. For this reason, an organization was required to have a leader who was able to create a dynamic working atmosphere and be able to improve employee work enthusiasm. Based on the research results themselves were aware that the Cicurug District employee work enthusiasm declined, it was seen from the interests of employees who work less were: in completing the job was not timely, the lack of desire was achieved, the minimum salary factor especially permanent employees, were less conducive working atmosphere, sub-district in Cicurug District who tent to use a democratic leadership style was less effective and optimal running. Based on calculation result showed that leadership style democracy in the Cicurug District in the criteria very well shown in 4.24, and for employee work enthusiasm in the Cicurug District was good criteria shown in figure 3.89. Based on the testing hypothesis results through the spearman rank correlation formula showed that the Ha accepted and Ho rejected, it meant that there was no democratic leadership style influence on employee work enthusiasm with rho calculation values of 0.24 and the coefficient of determination of 5.76%. Thus 94.24% employee work enthusiasm influenced other variables such as: 1. influence of incentives 2. Organizational work climate.Key word: Leadership style, Democration.

Abstract

Police sector (police) Wonoboyo an element of the duties and authority of the law of the District Police region Wonoboyo Temanggung regency, Central Java province which is an extension of the internal security duty Police Resort (Police). Noted region Wonoboyo police law in 2016 to the month of February there were 5 cases consisting of 4 times the theft as well as the first time fraud. Thus, only 36.97% of cases that can be resolved by the Police Criminal Investigation Unit Wonoboyo, or in other words the police officer performance Wonoboyo still low. The method used in this research is quantitative approach to research is descriptive, the research focused on solving the problem was investigated by using file state the subject or object of research is happening now based on factors that seen in the field as it should be or is used to describe a fact or systematic character defined population, actual and precise. The results of this study indicate that the leadership style adopted by the Chief of Police Sector Wonoboyo obtained 3.68 figure with a good assessment criteria. While the performance results obtained with the 4.50 figure Excellent assessment criteria. It is clear that the leadership style adopted by the Chief of Police Sector Wonoboyo obtained 3.68 figure with a good assessment criteria. This is influenced by leadership style (10.4%) and (89.6%) by other factors, such as motivation, supervision, etc., but not studied. The conclusion of this research in general is a style of leadership, the Chief of Police Sector Wonoboyo considerable influence despite the need for improvement especially in terms of giving confidence to subordinates to make decisions and give freedom to members to cooperate with other units. Keywords: leadership style, performance, Police.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to know the impact of leadership and employees performance at Ciawi Local Government Clinic of Bogor Municipality.Associative method is research method used to know the relationship or impact between two or more variables. The population of this research is 37 employees. To determine the number of minimum sample, Slovin formula is used. Based on the formula, 27 employees taken as sample. To analyze data, Weight Mean Score and Rank Spearman Correlation are used for hypothetical testing purpose. In this context, H0:ρ = 0, means that there is no positive correlation between leadership and employees performance, and Ha: ρ ≠ 0, means that there is positive correlation between leadership and employees performance.The result of this research show that leadership function by Head of Local Government Clinic is in “pretty good” criteria with mean score of 2,916 (out of 5) and “pretty good” criteria in all of indicator in this variable. Meanwhile, the variable of employees performance is also categorized as “good” criteria with mean score of 3,000 (out of 5). Futhermore, based on Rank Spearman analysis with significance test for n=27 and standar error of 10%, show that Rho 0,368 with “low” criteria. And the significance test t=2,042 > 1,70814, thus, conclusion can be taken that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This mean that there is positive correlation between leadership and employees performance with coefficient of determination 13,5%. In the other words, the research conclusion is the influence of leadership efforts by head of Local Government Clinic is 13,5% and the remaining 86,5% is determined by other factors (epsilon). Key word : Leadership, Performance, employees

Abstract

Masih ditemukan infotainment televisi yang hanya mengejar selera masyarakat dengan mengabaikan nilai-nilai moral yang seharusnya dijunjung tinggi. Hal tersebut menuai pro-kontra dari berbagai kalangan pemirsa yang juga memperdebatkan objektivitas sebagai nilai kebenaran atau nilai moral yang perlu dipertanggungjawabkan oleh berbagai kalangan terkait dan industri media agar menjadi informasi yang memiliki nilai kreativitas tinggi dan mencerahkan sehingga setiap kalangan dapat menuai manfaat atau kegunaan dari pesan media. Penelitian ini didesain sebagai penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan uji kebebasan antarkategori Chi Square dan analisis korelasi Rank Spearman. Tujuan penelitian secara korelasi adalah untuk akselerasi pembangunan pada persepsi pemirsa tentang infotainmenttelevisi dari kekuatan karakteristik secara demografis dan psikografis sehingga dimungkinkan dapat menimbulkan dampak pada adopsi inovasi sebagai kritisi pemirsa dalam pembangunan informasi hiburan. Responden secara acak dengan rumus Slovin berjumlah 92 orang dari 1.100 populasi, dari rata-rata mahasiswa UNIDA dan D3 IPB yang aktif pada tiap semester. Adanya korelasi antara karakteristik demografis dengan persepsi responden tentang tayangan infotainment televisi swasta. Ketika pemirsa menonton infotainment cukup fokus, persepsinya tentang infotainment bisa ditemukan sangat baik dan adopsi inovasi pada pembangunan informasinya pun sangat baik, maka daya intelektual mahasiswa komunikasi dalam lingkup penyiaran televisi atau pada bidang jurnalistik cukup kritis.
