Abstract

Pelatihan bahasa Inggris bagi UMKM di Rumah Kreaktif BUMN Cilegon dilaksanakan padabulan Februari 2018. Pelatihan diberikan dalam bentuk latihan describing dan promoting produk,serta latihan percakapan tentang transaksi jual beli produk yang dihasilkan UMKM. Pelatihandiawali dengan kegiatan pemberian informasi mengenai ilmu business speaking dengan temabusiness transaksi dan public speaking dengan tema presentastion skills dan juga memberikancontoh teks teks bahasa Inggris tentang transaksi jual beli produk UMKM. Kemudian dilanjutkandengan memberikan contoh membaca teks bahasa Inggris dengan ucapan yang benar sesuai dengankaidah ucapan bahasa Inggris. Para peserta menyimak dan menirukan bagaimana membaca teksdengan benar, berlatih membaca teks demi teks. Satu per satu peserta pelatihan melakukanpresentasi decribing dan promoting produknya secara individu serta berdialog jual beli, dalambahasa Inggris. Selama pelatihan peserta diberikan contoh, komentar, saran, dan pembetulan ucapan,gramatika, intonasi serta cara menyampaikan isi materi. Adapun pelatihan pengembangankemampuan Bahasa Inggris ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan agar pelaku UMKM diharapkan mampumempromosikan produk, dan bertransaksi jual beli berbahasa Inggris baik dalam pameran maupuntransaksi online ke berbagai negara. Setelah dilaksanakan pelatihan ini para pelaku UMKM percayadiri menpresentasikan produk mereka dan berkomunikasi kepada orang lain dalam bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

This study entitled Analysis of Influence of Job Motivation and Job Satisfaction to Organizational Performance with Job Productivity as an intervening variable (Empirical Study at BPJS Kesehatan Branch Serang). Methods of data collection used random sampling methods, and the respondents were all employees totaling 46 people. Data was collected using a questionnaire method to give a list of questions directly to the respondents. Data analysis techniques in this study used path analysis, which was operated by SmartPLS. The results showed a positive relationship between job satisfaction and organizational performance and a positive relationship between job satisfaction and job productivity. The path analysis found that job motivation and job satisfaction do not affect organizational performance through productivity. Thus, it can be concluded that productivity does not become an intervening variable between job motivation and job satisfaction.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic requires students to study online and at home. Online learning has its challenges because educators must choose suitable media in delivering material. This study aims to find a comparison of learning independence, entrepreneurial spirit and mathematical literacy before and after using Android media. This research method uses quantitative methods with pre and post group design. This research was conducted in one of the junior high schools in Serang on social arithmetic material. The instrument used is a learning independence questionnaire and an entrepreneurship spirit questionnaire. Another instrument is a mathematical literacy test. Data analysis used paired sample t-test. The conclusion from the results of this study is that there are differences in learning independence, entrepreneurial spirit and mathematical literacy before and after using android media.

Abstract

The unemployment rate in the August 2019 period in Banten Province was the highest in Indonesia. The ability of Banten Province in preparing employment opportunities is at the lowest level compared to other provinces with the fact that the unemployment rate is 8.11%. This research offers a breakthrough in the form of resource sharing innovation between manufacturing companies and training institutions in the form of models. The research location was conducted in the three largest industrial areas in Banten Province; Serang Regency, Cilegon City and Tangerang Regency. These areas have the highest number of unemployed among other areas in Banten. The data collection method used purposive sampling technique. Where the sample is selected from the apprenticeship population. The questionnaire in this study was distributed to all employees who took 3 in 1 program who had graduated and worked. There were 250 questionnaires distributed to all employees, and 217 employees filled out the questionnaire and it was managed appropriately. Data and hypothesis testing were carried out through the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method using the IBM AMOS version 22 application program. The results of this study found that the Skill Development Fund has a significant positive effect on Workforce Competence, the Skill Development Fund has a significant positive effect on the Skill Development Center, the Workforce Competence has a significant positive effect on the Skill Development Center, Workforce Competence has a significant positive effect on Resource Sharing Innovation, Resource Sharing Innovation Has a significant positive effect on Skill Development Center, Skill development center has a significant positive effect on Human Resource Industries Competitiveness, Resource Sharing Innovation has a significant positive effect on Human Resource Industries Competitiveness.

Abstract

Abstract: During the Covid-19 pandemic, lecturers and students were forced to adapt to the online lecture process by utilizing various online platforms. The purpose of this study is to explore the use of online platforms in online lectures during the Covid 19 pandemic, its strengths and weaknesses, constraints and solutions. The data were collected using a survey method by giving a questionnaire to 64 lecturer participants from all over Indonesia who were randomly selected. The results showed that lecturers were more likely to use familiar, familiar and easy-to-use platforms such as WhatsApp, followed by other platforms such as Zoom, Google Classroom while still carrying out technical implementation such as face-to-face learning such as lecture schedules on schedule, attendance attendance, fixed material referring to the RPS, evaluation of material with varied assignments and still seeking solutions to existing problems or constraints. The advantages of using online platforms include supporting the delivery of material in an attractive manner, smooth interaction, while the disadvantages are less interactive, less fluent lecture communication and tends to be one-way, wasteful of quotas, inadequate internet access, less than optimal understanding of material, and level of participation. low student. The use of online platforms in lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic requires both infrastructure and non-structural readiness to optimize the online lecture process during the Covid-19 pandemic.Abstrak: Pada masa pandemi Covid-19 dosen dan mahasiswa dipaksa untuk beradaptasi dengan proses perkuliahan online dengan memanfaatkan berbagai platform online. Tujuan penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pemanfaatan platform online di perkuliahan online pada masa pandemi covid 19, kelebihan dan kekurangnya, kendala serta solusinya. Data diambil dengan metode survei dengan memberikan angket kuesioner kepada 64 partisipan dosen di seluruh wilayah Indonesia yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dosen lebih cenderung menggunakan paltform yang sudah familiar dikenal dan mudah digunakan seperti WhatsApp, diikuti platform lainnya, seperti  Zoom, Google Classroom dengan tetap melakukan teknis pelaksanaan seperti dalam pembelajaran tatap muka seperti jadwal pelaksanan perkuliahan sesuai jadwal, adanya absensi kehadiran, materi tetap mengacu ke RPS, evaluasi materi dengan penugasan yang variatif dan tetap mengupayakan solusi terhadap masalah atau kendala yang ada. Kelebihan pemanfaatan platform online, yaitu mendukung penyampaian materi dengan menarik, interaksi yang lancar, sementara kekurangannya ialah kurang interaktif, komunikasi perkuliahan kurang lancar dan cenderung satu arah, boros kuota, akses internet yang kurang memadai, pemahaman materi yang kurang maksimal, dan tingkat partisipasi mahasiswa yang rendah. Pemanfaatan platform online dalam perkuliahan di masa pandemi Covid-19 membutuhkan kesiapan baik infrastruktur maupun nonstruktur guna mengoptimalkan proses perkuliahan online selama pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

ABSTRACTEnglish competence becomes very crucial to face global competition which includes competition of human resources, education, and economy, Quality improvement human resources became the key to successfully facing the free market in the era of ASEAN economic Community (AEC). English as a general course that must be followed by students should be able to meet the demands of competence; this is of course needs appropriate material especially for economic students so that students can understand material and economic terms. Such material is known as ESP or Englishf or Specific Purpose. This study aims to determine the problems faced by STIE Bina Bangsa Economic students in learning English, the needs of economic students related to English for Economics material, as well as the preparation of material into the syllabus of English Economy. This research uses qualitative research method of descriptive case study that is describes the problems and needs of students in learning English (English for Economics) which then interpreted in the form of a syllabus framework. Abstract

Kesempatan kerja yang terbatas, keinginan dan kemampuan agar dapat menambah penghasilan rumah tangga yang dimiliki oleh kelompok ibu - ibu di  kelurahan Dalung menjadi alasan bahwa sangat perlu ibu-ibu rumah tangga ini diberi ilmu keterampilan agar dapat meningkatkan pendapatannya.  Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan memberdayakan dan ingin membantu meningkatkan produktivitas masyarakat di kelurahan Dalung khususmya ibu-ibu rumah tangga dengan latar belakang pra sejahtera. Solusi yang dilakukan adalah pelatihan keterampilan keterampilan dengan metode participatory learning menitikberatkan pada learning by doing, dengan cara melatih, membina, mempraktekan, dalam menyelenggarakan pembuatan produk dari tali macrame. Pelatihan ini terdiri dari 3 kegiatan yakni 1)Menimbulkan keinginan dan kemauan para mitra untuk meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangganya. 2) Peningkatan keterampilan tali macrame menjadi barang yang bernilai ekonomis. 3) kelompok usaha yang terbentuk dalam kerajinan tali Macrame. kesimpulannya : ketrampilan ibu-ibu PKK dalam membuat barang yang di ajarkan sesuai dengan arahan dalam produk tali Macrame, unik dan memiliki daya jual.

Abstract

Desa Gelam (Kecamatan Cipocok Jaya) salah satu desa yang terletak di Kabupaten Serang. Desa Gelam memiliki kemampuan yang dapat dikembangkan dari hasil olahan  Jamur Tiram yang menjadi ciri khusus. Desa Gelam mempunyai dua pengusaha Jamur Tiram belum diolah. Pelaksanaan penyuluhan dan pelatihan untuk ibu PKK dan Ibu Rumah Tangga (IRT) di Desa Gelam, khususnya tentang olahan produk pangan dalam rangka memberikan nilai tambah bagi Jamur Tiram. Penyuluhan dan pelatihan sudah dilaksanakan yaitu penyuluhan tentang pengolahan dan kebersihan dalam mengolah, merek dan pengemasan, pelatihan P-IRT dan membuat sertifikasi halal, kandungan produk dan jangka waktu produk, penggunaan alat dan kreasi pembuatan produk mitra tersebut. Harapan dari pelatihan ini bisa menjadi stimulus mitra untuk menciptakan produk yang bersaing dengan produk lain hingga bisa menaikan tingkat perekonomian desa Gelam. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini dievaluasi setiap bulannya dan dapat menjadi percontohan bagi para Ibu PKK lainnya di Kabupaten Serang

Abstract

Describing a product is one of discussion that the students should learn to express the words that of selling. This study aims at investigating how the students’ abilities and difficulties in describing a product in the economics class of Bina Bangsa University. The respondents were students from the third semester and analyzed using descriptive-qualitative study. The result of the study depicted that students faced difficulties in both organizing and developing ideas. They were difficult to choose appropriate vocabulary and to manage the words grammatically correct in expressing the language. It suggested students need attention in learning descriptive text structures whether in developing ideas, grammar, and vocabulary chosen. They should be provided by example and practice for achieving the ability to describe a product.

Abstract

There are problems that must be fixed at PT. Nikomas Gemilang Serang Nike MESH Division. The problem is the lack of implementation of performance in carrying out tasks so that the work is not immediately resolved in compiling reports based on their responsibilities, currently there are employees who come late when they come to work, lack of attention from the leadership to employees and picky employees they like, So that employees who don't get attention feel ignored. This study aims to determine: the effect of work motivation on employee performance, the effect of work discipline on employee performance, the effect of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Nikomas Gemilang Serang Nike MESH Divisio. This research method uses an associative quantitative method with causality. The population and samples used in this study were employees at PT. Nikomas Gemilang Serang Nike MESH Division, which has 56 employees. The sampling technique in this study uses a saturated sample where all the population is sampled. The results of this study indicate that: 1. There is a positive and significant effect of work motivation on employee performance. 2. There is a positive and significant effect of work discipline on employee performance. 3. There is a positive and significant effect of work motivation and work discipline together on employee performance at PT. Nikomas Gemilang Serang Nike MESH Division.
