<![CDATA[Abstract: Terrible incident either crime or other immoralacts in Indonesia shows the failure of educational objectives, especially with regard to faith and morals. Learning environment and personal competence of teachers have a very important role. The purpose ofthe study was to determine the effect of the learning environment to students in the MSW character,to determine the effectof personal competence of teachers to students in the MSW character and to determine the effect of the learning environment and personal competence of teachers to students in the MSW character Pondok Pesantren Al- Ukhuwah Mranggen Joho Sukoharjo.This reaserch uses a quantitative approach. Population of 168 students, while the size sempelnya 50 students were taken through purposive random sampling technique.The data is taken through a questionnaire, the validity and reliability of the 15 respondents in out side population. The data were analyzed with descriptive analysis and multivariate analysis using SPSS. The results showed that: the influence ofthe learning environment to students in the MSW character is significantly, the influence ofthe personal competence of teachers to students in the MSW characteris significantly and the influence of the learning environment and personal competence of teachers to students in the MSW character Pondok Pesantren Al-Ukhuwah Mranggen Joho Sukoharjo is significantly.Keywords:    Environmental Learning, Personal CompetenciesTeachers, and Students Character  Abstrak:Kejadian yang mengerikan baik kriminalitas atau tindakan amoral lain di Indonesia ini menunjukkan gagalnya tujuan pendidikan, terutama berkaitan dengan ketaqwaan dan moral. Lingkungan belajar dan kompetensi personal guru memiliki peran yang sangat penting. Tujuan penelitian adalahuntuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan belajar terhadap karakter siswa di MSW , untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi personal guru terhadap karakter siswa di MSW serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan belajar dan kompetensi personal guru terhadap karakter siswa di MSW Pondok Pesantren Al-Ukhuwah Mranggen Joho Sukoharjo.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi sebanyak 168 siswa, sedangkan ukuran sempelnya 50 siswa diambil melalui teknik purposive random sampling. Data diambil melalui angket, dengan uji validitas dan realibilitas pada 15 responden di luar populasi. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan analisis multivariat dengan program SPSS.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pengaruh lingkungan belajar terhadap karakter siswa di MSW signifikan, pengaruh kompetensi personal guru terhadap karakter siswa di MSW signifikan dan  pengaruh lingkungan belajar dan kompetensi personal guru terhadap karakter siswa di MSW Pondok Pesantren Al-Ukhuwah Mranggen Joho Sukoharjo signifikan.Kata-kata kunci : Lingkungan Belajar, Kompetensi Personal Guru, dan Karakter Siswa]]>
