Abstract

PPL has an important contribution in producing physics students as professional teacher candidates. Therefore, theresearch aims to describe the readiness of physics students in implementing PPL in terms of the context, input, process, and product. The research was evaluative descriptive;the initial study was on 10 physics students who had programmed PPL II in 2017; and then continued on 56 physics students who had programmed the PPL II in 2018. Data was collected through the questionnaire instruments and interviews; then data were analyzed with qualitative descriptive.The analysis found that: (1) context aspects, students felt they have understood the concepts and mechanisms of PPL is well; (2) input aspects, used of available resources and strategies implemented by LPTK and school supporting PPL; (3) process aspects, students have been able to plan and implement learning well; and (4) product aspects, students have teacher competency and are able to apply it to success in life and their career in the future. However, LPTK/school still need to overcome the limitations of media/ ICT networks, laboratory equipment, and the similarity of class schedules with PPL. It can be concluded that the implementation of PPL has a positive impact on the readiness of physics students as future professional teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of critical thinking skills and science motivation of students in learning science. The population in this study all students of class VIII SMP N 3 Pemalang were 10 classes with 317 students. The research sample was randomly selected with a sample of one class of 31 students. The study was conducted on January 4, 2020, data collection techniques in the form of tests and questionnaires. The test is used to determine students' critical thinking skills in learning science in simple plane materials. While the questionnaire is used to determine the level of science motivation of students in learning Natural Sciences. Descriptive quantitative data analysis and percentage. The results showed the level of critical thinking skills of Pemalang N 3 Middle School students was 35.48% from the high and medium category. While the level of science motivation of Pemalang N 3 Middle School students was 35.50% from the high and medium category. This shows that the ability to think critically and the level of science motivation of students is still quite low. So we need a learning model that can improve students' motivation and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola kemampuan kognitif dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan di SMA Negeri 2 Mranggen. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian non eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI yang terdiri dari 9 kelas. Teknik sampling menggunakan stratified proportional random sampling, menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan taraf signifikan 10%, sehingga diperoleh 76 siswa dari 324 siswa, masing-masing 38 siswa untuk laki-laki dan perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa tes kemampuan koginitf dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dalam bentuk soal pilihan ganda dan uraian pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Instrument yang digunakan berupa soal pilihan ganda yang memuat C1-C6 untuk kemampuan kognitif dan aspek berpikir kreatif untuk soal uraian. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan anlisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan t-test independent, dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan t-hitung sebesar -1,067 dan t-tabel dengan signifikanasi (α) 5% sebesar 1,922 untuk kemampuan kognitif. Sementara itu, keterampilan berpikir kreatif diperoleh bahwa t-hitung sebesar -3,088 dan t-tabel dengan signifikanasi (α) 5% sebesar 1,922. Hasil perhitungan keduanya menunjukkan bahwa H0 gagal ditolak yang berarti tidak ada perbedaan nyata antara keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa laki-laki dengan siswa perempuan.This study aims to determine patterns of cognitive abilities and creative thinking skills between male and female students in SMA Negeri 2 Mranggen. This research is included in non-experimental research. The study population was students of class XI consisting of 9 classes. The sampling technique uses stratified proportional random sampling, using the Slovin formula with a significant level of 10% so that 76 students are obtained from 324 students, 38 students each for male and female. The technique of data collection in this study is in the form of tests of cognitive abilities and creative thinking skills in the form of multiple-choice questions and descriptions of environmental change material. The instrument used was in the form of multiple-choice questions that contained C1-C6 for cognitive abilities and aspects of creative thinking for the problem description. The data collected was then analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis and independent t-test, with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed a t-test of -1.067 and t-table with a significance (α) of 5% of 1.922 for cognitive abilities. Meanwhile, creative thinking skills were obtained that the t-count was -3.088 and the t-table with a significance (α) of 5% was 1.922. The results of both calculations show that H0 fails to be rejected which means there is no real difference between the creative thinking skills of male students and female students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the recitation method with moeko learning media (ecosystem monopoly) to improve student learning outcomes in elementary schools. This type of research is quantitative research using Pre-Experimental Design (non-design) research with one-group pretest posttest design. The results of the data analysis of students' pretest learning outcomes showed that they obtained an average of 60. While the posttest results obtained an average of 80, then the test was carried out with a comparative test. Then from the t-test, obtained  >  which is 2,755 > 1,997 so that  is rejected and  is accepted, meaning that the students' posttest results are better than the students' pretest results. Student learning outcomes achieved the criteria for mastery learning through the pretest score of 8 students 24% had achieved the criteria for completeness and posttest as many as 25 students 88% had achieved the criteria for completeness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil pemahaman Nature of Models (NoM) mata pelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Randudongkal Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Randudongkal. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode tes yang dijabarkan berdasarkan indikator pemahaman Nature of Models (NoM). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, al diperoleh rerata sebesar 56, dengan rincian 23% siswa dengan  kategori “bai”k, 54% siswa dengan kategori “cukup”,), dan 23 % siswa dengan kategori “kurang”.Kata Kunci: pemahaman Nature of Models, IPA

Abstract

Kami telah mendesain model pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi dan pemecahan masalah fisika. Model pembelajaran tersebut disebut Investigation Based Multiple Representation (IBMR). Model pembelajaran IBMR memiliki sintaks orientasi, investigasi, multi representasi, implementasi, dan komunikasi. Makalah ini memaparkan kendala-kendala model pembelajaran IBMR. Uji coba dilaksanakan pada perkuliahan fisika dasar di mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika Universitas PGRI Semarang. Pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung, dilakukan observasi kendala-kendala setiap fase model pembelajaran IBMR. Kendala yang ditemukan antara lain kemampuan penggunaan alat dan merangkai alat percobaan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the IBMR learning model assisted by phet to improve the ability of representation in physics learning. The research design used quasi-experiment one group pre-test and post-test conducted on 20 students of Information Technology Education at Universitas PGRI Semarang who programmed basic physics courses. The research data was collected from pre-test and post-test the ability of representation supported by observations of the implementation of learning. Data analysis uses paired t-test and n-gain to calculate and determine the criteria of increase of the representation ability. The results showed that the implementation of the IBMR model assisted by phet simulation was effective in increasing the ability of representation of students with gain score <g> = 0,59 (moderate criteria).

Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of interest in learning mathematics, especially with the online learning of teachers do not explain the material to students. In addition, parents do not pay attention to children's learning activities at home because most of them are busy working outside the city. This causes students to pay less attention to the learning process because the students do not get attention from their parents and the interest in learning students is also lacking so that the learning outcomes are low. The problem in this study is 1) Is there any influence of parents' attention on online learning on the results of learning mathematics?, 2) Is there an influence of students' interest in online learning on the results of mathematics learning?, 3) Is there an influence of parents' attention and interest in learning students in online learning together on the results of learning mathematics? The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of parents' attention and students' interest in online learning on the results of learning mathematics grade V SD Negeri Mangunrekso 01. This type of research is quantitative with ex post facto method. The research population is all students of SD Negeri Mangunrekso 01. The samples were 29 grade V students using purposive sampling techniques. The data in this study was obtained through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that parents' attention to online learning has no significant effect on math learning outcomes because the score is significant 0.234 > 0.05, if the attention of parents increases by one unit then the results of learning mathematics will increase by 9,4%. There is asignificant influence on students' learning on online learning outcomes. This is evidenced by a significant value of 0.026 < 0.05. Then there is the influence of parents' attention and interest in learning students in online learning together on the results of learning mathematics grade V SD Negeri Mangunrekso 01 with a significance score of 0.006 < 0.05 and its influence of 32,5%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan multirepresentasi terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa dalam pembelajaran Fisika. Desain penelitian ini adalah True Experimental Design yang berbentuk Pretest-Posttest Control Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa kelas VII MTs NU Ma’rifatul Ulum. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 15 siswa dan siswa kelas VII B sebagai kelas kontrol berjumlah 15 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah soal posttest yang disesuaikan dengan enam indikator Kemampuan Kognitif Siswa dan lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh nilai pretest kelas eksperimen 35,47 dan kelas kontrol 26,4. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen 63,47 dan kelas kontrol 38. Dari hasil pretest-posttest yang diperoleh dari kedua kelas tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan kemampuan kognitif siswa pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Analisis statistik menunjukkan nilai thitung 0,000 ttabel 0,05 dengan taraf signifikansi = 0,05, sehingga menolak H0 dan menerima Ha. Adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol maka pendekatan Multirepresentasi memberikan pengaruh terhadap Kemampuan Kognitif siswa dalam pembelajaran Fisika. Kata kunci: Pendekatan Multirepresentasi, Kemampuan Kognitif Siswa.

Abstract

This research is aimed at developing a learning model that encourages the skills of analytical thinking in science. The method used is research and development. The result is the ICAE (Incubation, Collection of data, Analysis, and Evaluation) model that promotes analytical thinking skills. Results of normalized gain tests show that the gain score is 0.28, which indicates that the ICAE learning model positively affects students’ analytical thinking, even though still within the lower category. The ICAE model also promotes the skills of analytical thinking in science and it has gained positive response from students.
