Abstract

Abstract In education, several terms such as strategy, approach, model and method are often used to describe the teaching and learning situation. And these terms are often inconsistent and often overlapping occurs in their use. To differentiate and clarify each of these terms, it needs to be reviewed and discussed contextually and comprehensively. This needs to be done in order to avoid confusion and misunderstanding the meaning of each of these terms. This paper will specifically try to describe the four terms because the four terms are most widely used and referred to by practitioners in the field of education. Clarification of these terms will help to explain the ambiguity of understanding meaning in the world of education and literacy. Abstrak Dalam pendidikan, beberapa istilah seperti strategi, pendekatan, model dan metode sering digunakan untuk menggambarkan situasi belajar-mengajar. Dan istilah-istilah tersebut sering tidak konsisten dan acap kali terjadi overlapping dalam penggunaannya. Untuk membedakan dan memperjelas perbedaan masing-masing istilah tersebut, perlu dikaji dan dibahas secara kontekstual dan komprehensif. Hal ini perlu dilakukan, guna tidak terjadi lagi kerancuan dan salah pemahaman makna dari beberapa istilah tersebut. Tulisan ini secara khusus akan mencoba menguraikan keempat istilah tersebut, karena keempat istilah tersebut paling banyak digunakan dan diacu oleh para praktisi di bidang pendidikan. Klarifikasi terhadap istilah-istilah tersebut akan membantu untuk menguraikan kerancuan pemahaman makna dalam dunia pendidikan dan dunia literasi.

Abstract

This research is based on problems related to self-management of students who are less organized, less motivated, and problems of learning interest. The purpose of this study is to describe the actual state of the objects studied systematically, actual, accurate and in-depth related to facts about the academic self-management strategies of students in learning to complete studies for 2 (two) years in the semester credit system program (SKS) . The method used in this research was qualitative with descriptive analysis type. Data collection techniques used in the form of participatory observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman models. The results showed that self-talk is one of the most contributing aspects in providing motivation to students. Other aspects that also contribute to motivating students such as the selection of learning methods in accordance with learning styles, the use of time based on priorities, deadlines, complexity of tasks, physical and social environment and the ability of students to evaluate themselves for learning purposes.

Abstract

the existence of differences of view to education children character, and can be classified in several categories and theories. This difference is seen as some figures say families or tualah people are the most important in providing character education. Others argue sekolahlah that is most vital in respect of containers of character education. This article uses a qualitative approach, with the kind of Library Research. Therefore, the overall data focuses on books or papers relating to discussion of "rightmost character Education". Quant à la méthode d’analyse de données technique utilisée est descriptive analyse qualitative méthodes, car les données sont traitées sous la forme d’un écrit de données telles que : livres, revues, articles de journaux, caractère education curriculum directives structures formelles en 2013 en ligne En ligne) et comprend le produit brut standard sous forme de législation relative à la formation du caractère. From the results of the discussion and anlisa above, concrete conclusions can be taken, that the person in charge character education namely Educational Institutions not the independence of each other, but rather inherently. Summary this rests on a concrete analysis of the various figures such as: Thomas Lickona, Jun Sung Hong and James Garbarino, David w. Johnson, and Roger t. Johnson, even from muslim figures like Abdul Majid, Jamal ‘Abdur Rahman, Moh. Solikodin Djaelani, Muchlas Samani dan Abdullah Nashih ‘Ulwan, first product reinforced by legislation which clearly explains the RI character education is the shared responsibility of educational institutions.

Abstract

In academic world, the terminology of character, akhlak, morals and ethics are often equated. However, it will be differentiated. This paper will elaborate comprehensively both in perspective of the derivation of the words, theory, related science and its implementation in education. Among some experts who have different arguments such as Althof, Berkowitz and Victor Battistich differentiate these fourth terminologies in terms of theory and implementation. Both of these figures state that if moral and ethical theory is derived from philosophical theory. On its implementation, moral education tends to have a narrower scope, for instance only on cognitive development while character education has wider and comprehensive scope. In addition, Yoke Suryadarma and Ahmad Hifdzil Haq state the difference of these the fourth terminologies in the barometer and its implementation. The argument of these two figures refers to the opinion of Imam Al-Ghazali, who states that morality is not merely acts, or just the ability to do, not just knowledge also. However, moral is an effort to integrate akhlak with the situation of the soul who are ready to bring up good and bad deeds, not just for a moment but forever. This article exerts a descriptive analysis approach, which is based on analyzing all the fourth related terminology arguments in the perspective of the derivation of the word, theory, related science and its implementation.  Keywords: Character, ecthic, attitude and terminologi of character

Abstract

This research based on the problems of the learning system in Indonesia which a national and international scale. At this time learning must be oriented in Industrial Era 4.0 and the educational paradigm must be change in systems thinking to the top level of Bloom revised taxonomy. The researchers analyzed how to apply using Reflective Metacognitive Learning (RML) model and integrated Garrison, Anderson, and Archer model to achieve Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of KKNI Curriculum at Institut Ilmu AL Qur’an Jakarta in Islamic study program. This research based on a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. The data was obtained from the fifth semester students of Islamic Education Program of Institut Ilmu Al-Quran (IIQ) Jakarta and from all relevant sources such as interviews, observations, and documentations. The findings showed that the application of the Reflective-Metacognitive Learning (RML) model integrated with the Garrison, Anderson, and Archer model was found in the four critical thinking skills of (IIQ) Jakarta students in learning, for instance: (1) students are quick to respond to events (trigger event), (2) students are more able to explore (exploration) (3) students can integrate knowledge into the context of learning (integration) and (4) then students propose (resolution). It was important that the application of these two models can improve the learning process and level of thinking of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) metacognitive levels. Abstract

This paper study how the history, concepts and dynamics of human rights in the world. At the end of the paper it can be said clearly that human rights have bleak times and the upheaval of human rights does not escape the mission and interests of each party, but as time goes on human rights continue to develop with the emergence of the Independent Human Rights Commission created by the OIC in the development of human rights issues in the world in the future and specifically in the Muslim community. It’s hoped that the IPHRC will become a dialogical forum between the various human rights debates and Islamic law or, on the contrary, this IPHRC organization will actually sharpen the discourse, the journey of human rights and Islamic law which further enhances dichotomous views. Continuous discussion between two entities, Islamic law (sharia) and human rights must always be a concern of all groups, in order to open up wider opportunities for mutual understanding to achieve progress and protection of human rights itself. In addition, efforts are also needed to overcome these challenges and challenges by governments, institutions and organizations that can be involved.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian didasari pada proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yang berbasis alam sebagai pendidikan alternatif untuk mewujudkan lembaga pendidikan yang berkualitas dalam pengembangan karakter siswa yang berlandaskan dengan Al-Qur’an dan Hadis.  Tujuan Penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dan menggambarkan pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis alam. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis analisis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sumber data primer berasal dari kepala sekolah, guru PAI, dan siswa. Sumber data sekunder didapat dari data-data sekolah seperti buku kurikulum, buku PAI, junal dan lain-lain. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles and Huberman: kolektif data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data atau kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis alam dapat meningkatkan karakter religious siswa. Hal ini dapat dicapai karena siswa dapat berinteraksi langsung dengan alam seperti kegiatan outbound, camping, gardening dan ekspedisi  dalam pembelajaran PAI. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis alam harus dipertahankan sebagai bentuk keunggulan dan menjadikan pembelajaran PAI  berbasis alam yang berkualitas di SD Alam Karawang.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the process of implementing an "Islamic studies" curriculum in shaping students' spiritual attitudes at the International Islamic Secondary School of Republic of Indonesia (IISS RI). This research method uses a qualitative method that is descriptive of analysis with data collection techniques observation obtained from interviews, and documentation. The researcher found that the implementation of "Islamic studies" curriculum was carried out in two ways, namely through academic programs that emphasized cognitive and affective aspects and non-academic programs which emphasized psychomotor aspects, with the application of "Islamic studies" curriculum to shape students' spiritual attitudes such as obeying Allah swt, being sincere, confident, responsible, diligent in learning, honest, disciplined, and respecting others. In addition, the researcher found that the "Islamic studies" curriculum also had a specific target that had to be fulfilled by the students as a requirement for graduation which was by memorizing the Qur'an juz 29 and 30, memorizing the hadith, memorizing dhikr and prayer and being able to give religious lectures.

Abstract

AbstractThis study discusses about the ethonographic approach in educational research. Ethnographic research, at first, was widely used in anthropological research, and developed in various fields of science such as medicine, health, psychology, and education and other social sciences. then, it can be concluded that there are four types of ethnographic research analysis in Spredley's model, they are: domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, compound analysis, and model analysis (ethnographic results. The qualitative research stages of the Spradley model consisted of 12 stages starting with determining a reliable or accurate key informant. Next, do an interview. Then, the researcher began asking descriptive questions, with an analysis of the interview. The results of the interview analysis, then the researcher conducted a domain analysis. In the next step, the researcher has determined the focus, and conduct a taxonomic analysis, then the researcher asks contrast questions, which are followed by a comparative analysis. The results of the comparative analysis, then the researcher found cultural themes. And the final step, the researcher wrote an ethnographic research report. And of course all of these stages must be adjusted to the field of education if research is in the field of education.Keyword: Ethnography Research, Ethnography Approach, Etnografi in Education.
