Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kesalahan mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan soal kalkulus integral. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah 10 mahasiswa semester 2 prodi Matematika Undiksha tahun akademik 2020/2021 yang rerata skor ujian tengah semester dan ujian akhir semester kurang dari 40. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah peneliti sebagai instrumen utama, sedangkan soal tes kalkulus integral, dan pedoman wawancara sebagai instrumen pendukung. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan ada 50% mahasiswa membuat kesalahan tipe careless errors (Ca), 60% tipe concept errors (Co), 70% tipe application errors (Ap) dan 60% tipe test taking errors (Te). Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan mahasiswa melakukan kesalahan adalah kurang memahami konsep, bingung memilih teknik integrasi, dan kurang memahami soal aplikasi.

Abstract

Tujuan program pengabdian masyarakat (PKM): 1) Mengembangkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan pemasaran produk olahan hasil kelompok perempuan 2) Meningkatkan jiwa kemandirian dan motivasi dalam menghadapi permasalahan ekonomi rumah tangga. 3) Mampu menciptakan budaya kemandirian perempuan dalam lingkup luas di pedesaan. 4) Membentuk perempuan mandiri, produktif, dan sejahtera. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan komunikasi dan persuasif. Pihak terkait melibatkan aparat desa, tokoh masyarakat, observer lapangan, perkenalan, membangun komitmen, menggali masalah, membangun motivasi, pelatihan mental kewirausahaan. Hasil yang dicapai kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan PKM ini adalah 1) melalui penyuluhan kesadaran gender dan pelatihan analisis kesadaran gender bagi anggota kelompok. 2) Membangun kembali usaha bersama dalam pengembangan keterampilan. 3) Melalui kegiatan menggali masalah potensi perempuan dan potensi alam dapat dikembangkan menjadi modal dasar ekonomi produktif. 4) Melalui kegiatan penyuluhan manajemen usaha , kelompok perempuan dapat memahami pentingnya manajemen usaha. Penyuluhan tentang hiegine dan sanitasi dapat memningkatkan pengetahuan kelompok untuk mengetahui pentingnya pengolahan pangan yang bersih, sehat dan ama. 5) Penyuluhan tentang teknik pengemasan dan pelabelan menambah keterampilan kelompok dalam mengemas produk menjadi lebih menarik.

Abstract

Penggabungan konsep Education dan Entertainment (Edutainment) dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat menjadi suatu solusi yang berdampak baik pada peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektivitas model edutainment dalam pembelajaran matematika terhadap aspek hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental (The Nonequivalent Control Group Design). Populasi penelitian mencakup siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Gamping. Teknik sampling dalam  penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling, sehingga diperoleh dua kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah soal pretest, posttest, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model Edutainment efektif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Model pembelajaran langsung juga efektif terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Sedangkan hasil komparasi pembelajaran matematika dengan model Edutainment dan model pembelajaran langsung adalah bahwa model Edutainment lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung ditinjau dari aspek hasil belajar siswa.Merging the concept of Education and Entertainment (Edutainment) in learning mathematics can be a solution that has a good impact on improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of the edutainment model in learning mathematics on aspects of student learning outcomes. The type of research used is Quasi-Experimental (The Nonequivalent Control Group Design). The research population includes students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Gamping. The sampling technique in this study used simple random sampling; so, two classes were obtained the experimental class and the control class. The research instruments used were pre-test, post-test, and learning implementation observation sheets. The results showed that learning mathematics using the Edutainment model was effective on student learning outcomes. The direct learning model is also effective in the student learning outcomes in learning mathematics. While the results of the comparison of learning mathematics with the Edutainment model and the direct learning model are that the Edutainment model is more effective than the direct learning model in terms of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Learning activities that should be done face-to-face turn into online learning in line with the spread of COVID-19. The core competencies that must be mastered by students should still be completed even with all the limitations of learning. Certainly, in terms of this different learning will bring up difficulties, especially the mathematics teacher as an educator. Therefore, this study aims to describe the difficulties of mathematics teachers in online learning and the solutions to overcome teacher difficulties. This research method is Mixed Methods with Sequential Explanatory Design. The process of collecting data is with questionnaires and interviews, while the instruments used are questionnaires and interview guidelines. Technical analysis of the data using the triangulation method, namely a combination of the results of open statement questionnaires, interviews and field documentation. The results showed that (1) online learning in the planning aspect was found in the difficult category of 8.82%. Online learning in the implementation aspect obtained a difficult category of 23.53%. Online learning in the evaluation aspect obtained a difficult category of 35.29%. The most difficult aspect of online learning for mathematics teachers is the evaluation aspect. In general, female teachers, teachers with teaching years less than 3 years, teachers with the latest education bachelor degree have more difficulty in online learning. Then the teachers who teach in junior high School have more difficulty even though they are not significantly different. (2) the solution to the teacher's difficulty in the planning aspect is that the teacher can determine the application that every smartphone has, namely Whatsapp. The solution to the teacher's difficulties in the implementation aspect is that the teacher can provide additional material in the form of video links and modules so that students can study independently to deepen the material. Teachers can do learning not too early and not too late. The solution to the evaluation aspect is that the teacher can consider attitudes before being treated to online learning and give assignments in the form of a portfolio.

Abstract

Employees who have good performance can not happen in a short time, but through a process. To obtain employees who have good performance, companies must pay attention to the abilities or competencies of employees. Therefore, it is necessary to manage Human Resources (HR) in this case are employees, which include planning human resources, procurement, directing, developing, maintaining and dismissing. The objectives of the study were (1) to determine the effect of recruitment on employee performance, (2) to determine the effect of selection on the performance of BPR Chandra Mukti Artha employees, (3) to determine the effect of job placement on employee performance at BPR Chandra Mukti Artha, (4) to determine the influence of work culture. on the performance of BPR Chandra Mukti Artha employees and (5) knowing the effect of recruitment, selection, work placement and work culture on the performance of BPR Chandra Mukti Artha employees simultaneously. The research sample is the employees of BPR Chandra Mukti Artha with a total of 46 people, selected by population sampling technique. Data collection techniques with questionnaires. Data analysis technique with multiple linear regression consisting of F test, t test and coefficient of determination, where previously carried out classical assumption test which includes normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. The results showed that (1) Recruitment had a positive effect on employee performance, (2) Selection had a positive effect on employee performance, (3) Job placement had a positive effect on employee performance, (4) Work culture positive effect on employee performance and (5) Recruitment, selection, work placement and work culture simultaneously affect employee performance. The conclusion of this study is that the better employee recruitment, employee selection, work placement and work culture, the better employee performance will be. Vice versa, if employee recruitment, employee selection, work placement and work culture are not good, then employee performance will also be low.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis memiliki peran penting pada perkembangan diri siswa, dikarenakan siswa dapat berpikir dan menganalisis permasalahan secara rasional dan objektif, namun di beberapa sekolah menengah khusunya pada tingkat SMP yang terbilang sekolah unggulan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang masih tergolong dalam kategori rendah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis pada peserta didik pada salah satu SMP unggulan di wilayah kabupaten Sleman. Indikator dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 4 indikator yaitu, menganalisis kebenaran dari suatu pertanyaan atau pernyataan, menyatakan kebenaran dari suatu pertanyaan atau pernyataan, mengungkapkan pendapat, dan membuat kesimpulan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan paradigma post-positivisme. Subjek di dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP yang berjumlah 4 orang di salah satu SMP unggulan di Kecamatan Kalasan, Kabupaten Sleman. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes yang terdiri dari 2 soal dengan materi bangun datar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa SMP unggulan di Kecamatan Kalasan sudah sangat baik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze a learning trajectory for social arithmetic using the culinary context of Yogyakarta and the results of the retrospective analysis as an application of the hypothetical learning trajectory. The research method used was design research with three stages, namely preliminary design, teaching experiment, and retrospective analysis. The research subjects who contributed to this study were sixth elementary school graders (11-12 years old) using the purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques were documents (written data on students’ work), and participating-interview about students' thinking in mathematics during the learning process. Data analysis used retrospective analysis. The findings of this study indicate that this learning trajectory is beneficial in achieving learning objectives. The learning trajectory in this study can be considered as an alternative way or as a reference for teachers to design RME-based learning that supports the development of students' conceptual understanding, self-confidence using their strategies, communication, and reasoning skills about social arithmetic concepts. In addition, the learning process and the results of the retrospective analysis contain characteristics of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME).

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis open ended problem berorientasi pada literasi numerasi siswa kelas VII pada materi aritmatika sosial yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Metode penelitian ini ialah penelitian dan pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE melalui 5 tahapan yaitu Analysis (Menganalisis), Design (Rancangan Produk), Development (Mengembangkan Produk), Implementation (Mengujicobakan) dan Evaluation (Mengevaluasi). Subjek dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah siswa kelas VII G SMP N 3 Jetis. Teknik mengumpulkan data dan informasi melalui angket validitas LKPD, angket respon peserta didik, angket respon guru dan tes open ended problem berorientasi pada literasi numerasi. LKPD yang dikembangkan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Validitas LKPD  sebesar 4,24167 dengan kriteria sangat valid. (2) Praktikalitas LKPD sebesar 4,50556 dengan kriteria sangat praktis. (3) Efektivitas LKPD sebesar 73,33333% dengan kriteria efektif. LKPD matematika berbasis open ended problem berorientasi literasi numerasi pada materi aritmatika sosial untuk kelas VII yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS terus menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang utama di dunia, sejauh ini WHO telah mengklaim lebih dari 39 juta jiwa mengidap HIV/AIDS. Di samping jumlah yang terus meningkat, masalah sosial yang dapat timbul oleh HIV/AIDS tidak kalah penting. Penderita HIV/AIDS di Kota Cirebon sendiri dari tahun ke tahun mengalami fluktuasi dan dikhawatirkan akan mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Salah satu upaya pencegahan yang dapat meminimalkan penderita HIV/AIDS adalah dengan memprediksi jumlah penderita HIV/AIDS pada tahun-tahun ke depan. Dengan mengetahui gambaran jumlah penderita HIV/AIDS di tahun mendatang, dapat dijadikan informasi alternatif sebagai pertimbangan mengeluarkan kebijakan. Peramalan yang di dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) dengan bantuan minitab versi 16. Setelah melakukan analisis secara terstuktur dan sistematis, penderita HIV/AIDS di Kota Cirebon dapat diprediksi dengan model ARIMA(0, 0, 1). Model tersebut merupakan model terbaik berdasarkan nilai mean square error yang paling kecil yaitu 116,01. Peramalan penderita HIV/AIDS untuk tahun 2019 adalah 52 orang sedangkan tahun 2020 adalah 37 orang. Diharapkan hasil dari peramalan ini dapat dijadikan pertimbangan untuk membuat suatu kebijakan dalam upaya menekan pertumbuhan penderita HIV/AIDS di Kota Cirebon.

Abstract

This quasi-experimental study aims to test the effectiveness of Pop Up Book media in learning reading skills in grade II Elementary School. Randomly class II B was assigned as an experimental class, taking reading lessons using Pop Up Book media, and class II-A, as a control class, participating in reading lessons using ordinary picture media. Data collection techniques use performance tests to assess 6 aspects of reading skills, namely accuracy in voicing writing, pronunciation reasonableness, intonation, fluency, voice clarity, and word understanding. The validity of the test items ranged from 0.65 – to 0.70, with a reliability index of 0.704. The average value of reading skills from the experimental class students' pre-test results was 63.96, and 62.29 in the control class students. From the different test results, the pretest score obtained a t value of 0.887 at sig. 0.380. It can be concluded that there is no difference in reading skills between the two groups before the treatment was carried out. After the learning was carried out, the average post-test scores of the experimental class students were 81.56 and 65.38. control class students. The results of hypothesis testing obtained a value of t 7,252 on s ig. 0.000. It can be concluded that there is a very significant difference in reading skills between the experimental class and the control class. The results of the study concluded that the Pop Up Book media was effective for improving the reading skills of second-grade elementary school students.
