Abstract: Classroom action research in general aims to improve the quality of learning for seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang. specifically aims to: (1) Describe the management of learning Islamic Education by teachers; (2) Increasing Motivation and Learning Outcomes About Material Faith To God PAI Lessons Through Task-Based Learning Method Students Class VII SMP Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang district Asahan academic year 2017/2018. This classroom action research is carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. Classroom action research was carried out in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang, totaling 31 students. The subjects of this study were Grade VII Islamic Education teachers and VII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang, data were collected through observation, interviews, tests, and documentation studies.

Abstrak: Penelitian tindakan kelas secara umum bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran untuk peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 1 Sei Kepayang. secara khusus bertujuan untuk : (1) Mendeskripsikan pengelolaan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam oleh guru ; (2) Meningkatkan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Tentang Materi Iman Kepada Allah Pelajaran PAI Melalui Metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Tugas Siswa Kelas VII SMPN 1 Sei Kepayang Kab. Asahan TP. 2017/2018. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan di kelas VII SMPN 1 Sei Kepayang yang berjumlah 31 orang siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru Pendidikan Agama Islam kelas VII dan siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Sei Kepayang, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, test, dan study dokumentasi.
