PENERAPAN OSCE DENGAN KEPUASAN MAHASISWA MENJALANI PRAKTIKA LABORATORIUM DI AKADEMI KEPERAWATAN ADI HUSADA SURABAYA

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kepuasan mahasiswa merupakan perbandingan antara harapan yang diinginkan mahasiswa dengan pelayanan yang diberikan. Pemberian pengalaman belajar praktika diharapkan dapat memberikan kepuasan kepada mahasiswa. Namun kenyataannya mahasiswa yang sudah mendapat praktika laboratorium belum sepenuhnya mendapatkan kepuasan. Pemberian praktika laboratorium menggunakan OSCE diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan penerapan OSCE dengan kepuasan mahasiswa menjalani praktika laboratorium di Akademi Keperawatan Adi Husada Surabaya. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kolerasi pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 89 mahasiswa Akademi Keperawatan Adi Husada Surabaya yang dipilih menggunakan probability sampling dengan simple random sampling technique sebanyak 73 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner closed ended. Hasil penelitian menyatakan sesuai dengan penerapan OSCE sebanyak 51 responden (57%) dan kepuasan mahasiswa menyatakan sesuai dengan praktika laboratorium sebanyak 51 mahasiswa (67%). Hasil uji Chi Square didapatkan nilai p<0,05 (p=0,04), yang menunjukkan ada hubungan antara penerapan OSCE dengan kepuasan mahasiswa menjalani praktika laboratorium di Akademi Keperawatan Adi Husada Surabaya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mahasiswa lebih aktif lagi terhadap pembelajaran praktika di laboratorium agar saat pelaksanaan ujian OSCE mahasiswa lebih siap dan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan ujian OSCE. Practical learning experience is expected to pride satisfaction to the students. But in reality, students who have got laboratory practice have not fully received satisfaction. Laboratory administration using OSCE is expected to improve student satisfaction. The purpose of this research was to analyse the implementation of OSCE with student satisfaction of laboratory practice at Nursing Academy Adi Husada Surabaya. The design of this research used correlational with cross sectional approach. The population of this research was 89 students in Nursing Academy Adi Husada Surabaya selected used probability sampling with simple random sampling technique as many as 73 students. The data retrieval used closed ended questionnaires. The results expressed in accordance with the application of OSCE as much as 51 respondents (57%) and student satisfaction stated in accordance with laboratory practicalities as much as 51 students (67%). The chi-square test results was p<0,05 (p=0,04), which there was a relationship between the implementation of OSCE with the satisfaction of students who had laboratorium practice in Nursing Academy Adi Husada Surabaya. The results hoped that students will be more active in laboratory studies, so that when implementation of students OSCE exams were better prepared so that they can improve student satisfaction on the implementation of OSCE exams.
