PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TALKING STICK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick dengan siswa yang belajar tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick pada kelas V di Desa Pohsanten. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 85 orang. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 37 orang. Data hasil belajar IPA siswa dikumpulkan dengan instrumen tes objektif. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa thit = 4,859 dan ttab (sig. 5%) = 2,030. Hal ini berarti bahwa thit > ttab, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick dengan siswa yang belajar tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick. Dari rata-rata (𝝌), diketahui (𝝌) kelompok eksperimen sebesar 82,23 dan (𝝌) kelompok kontrol sebesar 71,68. Hal ini berarti bahwa (𝝌) eksperimen > (𝝌) kontrol. Dengan demikian model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V di Desa Pohsanten semester genap tahun pelajaran 2016/2017.Kata Kunci : hasil belajar IPA, talking stick This research aims to determine the difference of science learning outcomes between students who were learn by cooperative learning model of talking stick with students who were learn without using cooperative learning model of talking stick in grade V at Pohsanten Village. The type of research is quasi e𝝌perimental research. The population amouts of this research is 85 people. The sample amounts of this research is 37 people. Student learning outcomes data were collected with objective test instruments. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The results showed that tcount = 4.859 and ttable (sig. 5%) = 2.030. This means that tcount> ttable, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in science learning outcomes between students who are learn by cooperative learning model of talking stick with students who are learn without using cooperative learning model of talking stick. From the mean (𝝌), it is known (𝝌) e𝝌perimental group is 82,23 and (𝝌) control group is 71,68. This means that (𝝌) e𝝌periment > (𝝌) control. Therefore, cooperative learning model of talking stick influences on science learning outcomes of grade V students at Pohsanten Village in even semester of academic year 2016/2017.keyword : science learning outcomes, talking stick
