This study aims to improve the teaching skills of PGSD Uniflor students through role playing methods. This type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects were 5th semester students of PGSD University of Flores who took part in the social science learning design lectures in elementary school. Research subjects numbered 62 students. The main data taken by observation techniques then determined the percentage and compared the criteria for each cycle based on the guideline of the assessment. While supporting data is taken with documentation techniques and field notes. The procedure of the research is through the stages of planning, stages of action, stages of observation and stages of reflection. The results showed an increase in the teaching skills of PGSD students after applying the role playing method from cycle I to cycle II. The improvement of teaching skills includes five indicators, namely strengthening skills, asking questions, using variations, explaining, opening and closing learning. Thus it can be concluded that the role playing method can improve the teaching skills of PGSD University of Flores students
