Abstract

One of factors that influence the development is early stimulation especially from people close to the toddler (mother and other family). The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between mother’s knowledge about early stimulation and motoric development of toddlers. The design of this study was case control. Sample was selected using consecutive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaire, then analyzed using logistic regression test. The result showed that mother’s knowledge on early stimulation have significant effect to the motoric development of toddlers. Keywords: todders; motoric development; mother’s knowledge; early stimulation ABSTRAK Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi perkembangan adalah stimulasi dini terutama dari orang yang dekat dengan balita (ibu dan keluarga lain). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu tentang stimulasi dini dan perkembangan motorik balita. Desain penelitian ini adalah kasus kontrol. Sampel dipilih menggunakan consecutive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan ibu tentang stimulasi dini memiliki efek signifikan terhadap perkembangan motorik balita.
