One of the problems faced in the production process is the unbalanced accumulation of material between work stations and the amount of idle time of employees in finishing the job thereby causing delay in the process of working on a single workstation. This will cause the next work station to be delayed therefore lowering the resulting production line efficiency. From observation in the field, this study aims to solve the problem by determining normalized cycle time, converting the normalized cycle time into standard time by giving concessions for employees, also to determine the number of work stations for analyzing line balancing of production in order to determine line efficiency levels. Results of the study shows that analyzing line balancing of production using Kilbridge & Wester method is considerably better than MALB and COMSOAL ethod.
