Abstract

This study aims to find out 1) an increase in learning activities in writing narratives using series drawing media and 2) improving narrative writing skills using serial image media in class III of Kanigoro 04 Elementary School Blitar District. The approach used is a qualitative approach to the type of classroom action research. The study carried out 2 cycles in each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. Data obtained from interviews, observation sheets, field notes and documentation. The results obtained showed Student activities increased from cycle I 77% to 93% in cycle II. The results of students' narrative writing skills in cycle I 55%, in cycle II it increased to 89 %. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui 1) peningkatan aktivitas belajar menulis narasi menggunakan media gambar seri dan 2) peningkatan keterampilan menulis narasi menggunakan media gambar seri di kelas III  SDN Kanigoro 04 Kabupaten Blitar. Pendekatan yang digunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas.  Penelitian dilaksanakan 2 siklus yang dalam setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Data diperoleh dari wawancara, lembar observasi, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan Aktivitas siswa meningkat dari siklus I 77% menjadi 93% pada siklus II. Hasil keterampilan menulis narasi siswa pada siklus I 55 % dan, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 89%.
