Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between the use of picture cards of serial story media with the ability to speak in early childhood. This research was a quantitative non- experimental, correlational method. The population in this study were children in group B Podomoro Tunas Bangsa District of Pringsewu. The determination of this sample was using saturation sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study were using observation and documentation. The results showed that there was a strong association between the use of positive and valuable picture card media stories with the ability to speak in early childhood by 54.76%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penggunaan media kartu gambar cerita berseri dengan kemampuan berbicara anak usia dini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat non eksperimental dengan metode korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B PAUD Tunas Bangsa Podomoro Kecamatan Pringsewu. Penentuan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang kuat dan bernilai positif antara penggunaan media kartu gambar cerita berseri dengan kemampuan berbicara anak usia dini sebesar 54,76%.Kata Kunci: kemampuan berbicara anak usia dini, media, kartu gambar cerita berseri.
