Abstract

The problem in this research was children low ability to recognize symbol of number. This research aimed to determined the influence of a ball game with children symbol of number ability. The method was used associative research. Sample technique was used purposive sampling with the provisions of sample age between 5 and 6 years old. The samples were 26 students. Data were collected by observation. The research instrument was used observation sheet. Data were analyzed by using simple linier regression. The research showed that there were an influences of a ball game toward children symbol of number ability. The ball game could be an alternative to improve children symbol of numberMasalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara permainan bola dengan kemampuan anak mengenal lambang bilangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian asosiatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan ketentuan usia sampel antara 5-6 tahun. Jumlah sampel penelitian berjumlah 26 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh permainan bola terhadap kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Permainan bola bisa menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan anak.Kata Kunci: anak usia dini, permainan, lambang bilangan
