Abstract

The research problem was the low fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years old. The study aimed to determine the relationship between the activity of play development with fine motor skills. This research used quantitative, the type of explanatory research with correlation method. Data was collected by observation. The research instrument used observation sheet. The sample of this study was 30 children aged 5-6 years in Istiqlal kindergarten class B Rajabasa, taken by purposive sampling technique. The type of data was interval data. Data were analyzed by using product moment correlation test. The analysis showed a strong correlation between activity of play development with children fine motor skills.Masalah penelitian ini rendahnya kemampuan motorik halus anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara aktivitas bermain pembangunan dengan kemampuan motorik halus. Penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif, jenis penelitian eksplanatif, metode korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, instrument penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi. Sampel penelitian anak usia 5- 6 tahun dikelas B TK Istiqlal Rajabasa berjumlah 30 diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Jenis data berupa data interval.Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis uji korelasi product moment. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara aktivitas bermain pembangunan dengan kemampuan motorik.Kata kunci: bermain, motorik halus, anak usia dini
