Abstract

This study focused the comprehension of early childhood teachers in thematic learning in the village of Jati Datar District of Bandar Mataram Lampung Tengah. The purpose of this study was to describe the understanding of early childhood teachers in thematic learning. This study was conducted in five kindergarten in the village of Jati Datar District of Bandar Mataram Lampung Tengah consisting of TK Pertiwi, TK ABA, TK Tunas Bangsa, TK 17 Agustus and TK Madina Azzahro. This study used data analysis techniques a mix of quantitative-qualitative. These results indicated that teachers' comprehension of the thematic learning which includes the concept, planning, implementation and evaluation of thematic learning is still low. Data showed that teachers have not applied the thematic learning in school looks at the lesson plans are made not in accordance with the learning activities carried out by the teacher.Penelitian ini berfokus pada pemahaman guru PAUD dalam pembelajaran tematik di Desa Jati Datar Kecamatan Bandar Mataram Lampung Tengah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman guru PAUD dalam pembelajaran tematik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lima Taman Kanak-Kanak di Desa Jati Datar Kecamatan Bandar Mataram Lampung Tengah yang terdiri dari TK Pertiwi, TK ABA, TK Tunas Bangsa, TK 17 Agustus, dan TK Madinah Azzahro. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data campuran kuantitatif-kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pemahaman guru mengenai pembelajaran tematik yang meliputi konsep, perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi dari pembelajaran tematik masih rendah. Data menunjukan bahwa guru belum menerapkan pembelajaran tematik di sekolah terlihat pada rencana pembelajaran yang dibuat tidak sesuai dengan kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru.Kata Kunci : guru PAUD, pemahaman guru, pembelajaran tematik.
