Abstract

ABSTRAK Sistem pembangkitan mempunyai aspek keandalan dan ekonomi yang sangat penting untuk dipertimbangkan. Kedua aspek sangat terkait dengan masalah teknik dan biaya yang harus dikelola, dan mengandung konsekuensi yang bersifat finansial. Daya saing ekonomi dari suatu jenis unit pembangkit maupun efisiensi sistem secara keseluruhan sangat terpengaruh oleh kecermatan pengaturannya didalam sistem. Masing-masing unit didalam sistem mempunyai karakteristik kinerja dan aspek biaya produksi energi yang berbeda, sehingga harus ditempatkan pada posisi pembebanan dan durasi tertentu di dalam sistem.   ABSTRACT Generating system have reliability and economic aspect of important consideration. Both aspects are closely related with the managed technical problems and the cost, and having a consequence of transitional nature. Economic competitiveness of a certain plant unit and also the overall system efficiency are much affected by the management inside the system. Each unit inside the system has different aspects of performance characteristic and energy production cost in such a way that the unit should be positioned at a certain loading and duration in the system.
