<![CDATA[Abstract : Hepatitis B attacks all ages and races throughout the world. Hepatitis B can attack with or without hepatitis symptoms. The high rate of hepatitis B infection and the death rate due to cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma can be attributed to the low success rate of therapy for hepatitis B patients. This study aims to determine the characteristics and prescribing patterns in hepatitis B patients in RSUP Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten by looking at medical record data. This research is a non-experimental descriptive study using retrospective data collection techniques. Data was collected in January-December 2019. The results of the study were described descriptively and presented in tabular / percentage form. The most cases are patients aged 46-55 years as much as 28.26%, the most sex is male as much as 60.87% where the most accompanying disease is liver cirrhosis. The highest number of sucralfate gastrointestinal drugs use is 12.65%, the most central nervous system drugs are ondansetron as much as 7.35%, the most analgesic drugs are paracetamol as much as 6.12%, the most hepatoprotector drugs are curcuma as much as 22.45%, the most antiviral drugs are tenovofir 10.61%.Keyword : Hepatitis B, prescribing patterns, antiviral Abstrak : Hepatitis B menyerang semua umur dan ras di seluruh dunia. Hepatitis B dapat menyerang dengan atau tanpa gejala hepatitis. Tingginya angka infeksi hepatitis B serta angka kematian dikarenakan sirosis dan hepatoselular karsinoma dapat dikaitkan dengan rendahnya angka keberhasilan terapi pasien hepatitis B. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan pola peresepan pada pasien hepatitis B di RSUP dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten dengan melihat data rekam medik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif non eksperimental menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data secata retrospektif. Pengambilan data dilakukan bulan Januari-Desember 2019. Hasil penelitian digambarkan secara deskriptif dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel/persentase. Kasus terbanyak adalah pasien berusia 46-55 tahun sebanyak 28,26%, jenis kelamin terbanyak adalah laki-laki sebanyak 60,87% di mana penyakit penyerta terbanyak yaitu sirosis hati. Penggunaan Obat saluran cerna terbanyak sucralfat sebanyak 12,65% ,obat sistem syaraf pusat terbanyak ondansetron sebanyak 7,35%, obat analgesik yang terbanyak paracetamol sebanyak 6,12%, Obat hepatoprotektor terbanyak adalah curcuma sebanyak 22,45%, obat antivirus terbanyak tenovofir 10,61%.Kata Kunci : Hepatitis B, pola peresepan, antivirus]]>
