<![CDATA[Abstract: Hepatitis is a process of liver disease that affects the lung parenchyma, buffer cells, bile ducts and blood vessels. Hepatitis B virus (HBV) has infected a total of 2 billion people in the world and around 240 million are people with chronic hepatitis B virus, Hepatitis C sufferers in the world are estimated at 170 million people and around 1,500,000. In Wonogiri District in 2019 there were 1,142 people diagnosed with hepatitis.Hepatitis health education at RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri aims to better the knowledge and attitude of hepatitis patients so that they can anticipate the transmission of hepatitis. This research was conducted using descriptive methods with data collection in December 2019-January 2020. This research was conducted at the Internal Medicine Polyclinic of dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri Hospital. This study obtained as many as 53 patients with the characteristics of patients dominated by male sex (58.5%), ages 46-55 years (45.3%), high school education (49.1%) and private / entrepreneurial work (54.7%). The analysis showed that the knowledge of patients about hepatitis in dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri Hospital was the most sufficient category of 47.2%.Keywords: knowledge, hepatitis, patient Abstrak: Hepatitis merupakan proses penyakit hepar yang mengenai parenkim paru, sel-sel kuffer, duktus empedu dan pembuluh darah. Virus Hepatitis B (VHB) telah menginfeksi sejumlah 2 milyar orang di dunia dan sekitar 240 juta merupakan pengidap virus Hepatitis B kronis, penderita Hepatitis C di dunia diperkirakan 170 juta orang dan sekitar 1.500.000. Kabupaten Wonogiri pada Tahun 2019 terdapat 1.142 orang yang terdiagnosis hepatitis. Pendidikan kesehatan hepatitis di RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri bertujuan agar pengetahuan dan sikap pasien hepatitis lebih baik sehingga mampu mengantisipasi penularan penyakit hepatitis. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pengambilan data bulan Desember 2019-Januari 2020. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Poliklinik penyakit dalam RSUD dr Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri. Penelitian ini diperoleh sebanyak 53 pasien dengan karakteristik pasien didominasi berjenis kelamin laki-laki (58,5%), usia 46-55 tahun (45,3%), pendidikan sedang tingkat SMA (49,1%) dan pekerjaan swasta/wiraswasta (54,7%). Hasil analisa menunjukkan pengetahuan pasien tentang penyakit hepatitis di RSUD dr Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri paling banyak yaitu kategori cukup sebesar 47,2%.Kata kunci: pengetahuan, hepatitis, pasien]]>
